I had a 3.7 in my 2011 mustang premium. It was a fun car to drive after I put a tune in it. I got 32 mpg on the highway. I was absolutely the most reliable car I have ever owned. I now drive a 2015 Mustang GT FB premium. But that cyclone 3.7 is still dear to my heart.
You did not get 32mpg highway. It's rated at 29 and your mpg didn't go up with a tune meant for speed

I don't generally like sounds from catless systems but I absolutely love the sound of Brett's car. Nice and throaty. Not raspy or tinny. Very nice sound.

I love these 3.7L Mustangs. I run a set of BBK shorty headers and a Borla ATAK catback on mine, just waiting until summer hits up here in Canada so I can get more videos uploaded.

4th one sounded amazing but the 5th was absolutely insane...haha...never seen a divorced setup...makes sense though...with pistons firing at different timings divorced setup may sound very different and of course the clip was sick af.

shelber10 I can appreciate a V8 sound but the v6 is something that grows on you if you own one especially if it’s your first car like it was to me
Most 3.7L owners buy them because its what they can afford not because of how it sounds. I'm just here to help everyone make the best of it since I once was in that position as well and can relate. That's why I spend my time helping the community instead of shitting on them like I could have when i got my 5.0.
The first mustangs to come off the line were inline 6 bangers. If anything, your v8 “doesn’t scream mustang”

It’s tough to make these cars sound good imo, Most of the 3.7s I run into sound awful, too many roush axlebacks and/or off-road mid pipes... the ones in this video sound pretty good though, especially the 1st one

I need to to upload my setup it's a 3.7 with jlt cai, bbk shorties, custom Hpipe from leathal performance that I chopped off and welded, and roush axelbacks. Sounds great and I havent tuned it.

The ginetta has straight cut gears which is 90% of what you're hearing in that video on the dyno.
If you want to hear something a little different, there's a few of my old '13's vids on my page. Setup was BBK shorties, Lethal H with Vibrant resonators, and Dynomax Ultraflo catback. I'm one of the early Cyclone Group members too. I'll see if I have any old vids that I haven't uploaded and get them on my channel. And yes, planning on getting another Cyclone very soon. I have a turbo V6 itch that needs scratching..😂.

Best exhaust in my opinion is the first clip.
I loved, & miss the performance of my wife's old '14 3.7L V6 Mustang. What I don't miss is the horrid exhaust noise it made. These are great performing engines, but they sound like ass. I'd honestly rather drive a Tesla, & hear nothing.. lol I forgot how bad they sounded, & was briefly considering putting one in my old Foxbody shell.. Thanks for making this video to bring me back to my senses. I think I'll just go with an old school 5.0, Flowmaster 40s, & a Ford Racing B303 cam. I find it funny that the cheapest custom system (next to last) sounded the best.

@@dom3489 Sorry I was mistaken, it's a sequential manual. Expensive racecar parts. You could order/buy something like that from a specialty shop. You'd need an aftermarket ecu setup to allow for shifting like that.

There's someone in Houston with a V6 mustang but its got a cam and id assume a straightpipe and i legit thought it was a V8 because of how loud and choppy it was

Right now all I have is a muffler delete and mine pops way more than any other set up. I want to keep that yet make it louder but keep the same tone and not make it raspy like the Roush axle backs and etc seem to do. What should i do next ?
I have bbk shorty headers and a bbk x pipe with cats and a muffler delete. It sounds amazing. Way deeper than any of these and it pops rediculous when it's warm. Cheap setup I know but it sounds great
add Resonators, they don't reduce how loud it is but just deepen the tone and reduce rasp. One of the best things you can do for a 3.7L exhaust setup.

My bf has a suped up GT with a modded exhaust and it roars, I love my 3.7s softer purr (i just prefer exhausts that arent insanely loud or poppy) and this vid gives me so mny good ideas
Had a few on here that sounded really good. Compared to ferrari vevs. A few sounded like mopeds on steroids 😊 H pipes dont compare to the x. H pipes sound like they are in a box x sounds crisper with a scream😊 😊😊

I've been searching the 3.7 Facebook page but I can't find and ideas of what tips to buy for a muffler delete. I know it's a 2.25 inlet and 4 out but how long should they be? Or does it really matter? Thanks in advance. Love your videos btw.

Quad tips are amazing for sound and looks! Hard to get ahold of them though.. Even autozone sells generic exhaust tips you can buy, and most exhaust shops could probably make you tips. 4" out is probably the average anything smaller would make the sound a little more high pitched imo.
Roush is what I prefer.

Do you not realize what rice is? Rice is cosmetic modification to make something look fast without any performance boost, the exhaust is a good performance boost for these cars

I'm not a troll but those bulkie 3.7 emblems at roughly 4.10 of this vid or so are obnoxious. Those were my first ones I put on my cyclone and I quickly took them off...
So sad Trenton Capps sold his 3.7.. at least he got a 5.0!
Ill get another one day! The 5.0 is fantastic though. Crazy strong from rolls top end. Id like to build a 3.7 in the future for dig races.
Trenton Capps first exhaust for the 5.0, my personal fav would definitely be roush axleback, off road x pipe, resonator delete. Keep the resonators if you don’t want to get pulled over everytime you drive though
