I'm very happy with the overall quality of the sound profile and the depth of the bass from this unit. It's definitely better sounding than most similarly sized speakers. It has a solid bass response right down to 45Hz which for something of this size is pretty amazing. The only other speaker this size I've heard that has such a rich sound profile is the original Sony SRS XB20 (but not any of the subsequent "upgrades") which has quite a similar build to this actually. I have a whole bunch of BT speakers but I actually use this one specifically as a personal speaker. It's very nice to listen to in bed late at night.
My speaker has a problem with the white sticker on the front panel after the metal cover was removed. In my case, the sticker is leaking air, which causes the sound to be very weird. Do you know what the sticker is for?
We've had ours for a couple of years now, but it has stopped charging. Going to open it up and change out the USB-C port just in the hopes that it fixes the issue.
Your opinion sometimes Bose makes overpriced speakers like the sound link micro is literally 200 dollars when you can get a better sounding flip 6 for 150 dollars + a go 4
It’s not designed to be easily opened, but eventually owners will face a choice: open it and replace the battery or recycle it as e-waste. Seems worth repairing!
After a lot of thinking about "i can make your own speaker" with some bluetooth amplifier and speakers, etc.. i realized the components price is already a half of the price of this speaker and the other half is the time consumed for building. And after assembly, I would have had a medium or bad sounding speaker. Engineers from bose i think they made a lot of testing and modifications for perfect sounding speaker. I own one, the sound it's incredibly good and i think worth every penny.

Hi, how hard is it to replace that battery? Does Bose even sell a replacement battery for it?
I dont think they do, best bet is to find from third party
Can I purchase the Bose motherboard as a replacement?
Thank you

Grosero !!! @@cesarquintero_

The speaker is not meant to be opened

I agreed..sound quality is good but at this price point I'm surprised by how simply built this speaker was.
