That was shockingly good, I mean really good. Bass player really nailed the rhythm with the drummer, and the ladies took a. very challenging song to sing and crushed it. Well done form a Groovies fan for 50 years!

This is what the world needs...more music teachers that know their shit, and turn youngsters on to great music. Thank you to the instructors and the kids that played and sang.

Great job young folks! Thank you for performing a lost gem of a song by the Flamin Groovies! You young excellent musicians weren’t even born when this song was released! I’m very impressed! A+

That's a strong rhythm section - the kid on the drums and the killer on the bass really propel this gem. Great job by all.

The first time I heard this tune I was younger than everyone on that stage. I get so sentimental watching a younger generation cover a classic like this. Keep on keepin' on!!

This takes me back to the 70's, in the back room of the Railway pub in Harrow, London, watching a local band, The Bozos. I was about the age of these kids at the time. The Bozos did a great version of this song, as did these kids. Though I was puzzled - the kid with the acoustic guitar kept appearing and disappearing, seemingly randomly. I thought they might have sorted it out in the editing.

Mr MWC is correct. In this bands case, their MD is Tommy Rich. He nearly made it as a national level musician himself and has an obviously extensive knowledge of Rock and Roll. These kids (the Jaxx Band Rejects) BRING IT better than many other professional or bar bands. A really excellent and versatile band. imho

Thank you. Unfortunately, my wife is dealing with stage 4 small cell lung cancer, and I am her sole caregiver. So as much as I would love to capture this year's AllStars, and all of the local bands supporting them, it's not an option. Before we got the diagnosis, I had planned to travel to Cleveland to capture their Zappa show.

The girls are trying too hard to do a 2010s/late 2000s sultry female vocal, which gets in the way. The guys are amateurish, but definitely pull it off well for kids' standards. God bless 'em. I hope the girls learn that not every song is an opportunity for... let's say, the opposite of chastity.

When I was a kid rock n' roll was not welcome in school. Now kids are being 'taught' it by well-meaning adults trying to 'get down with the kids'. Maybe that's why it used to be so great and is now so shit.

My daughter had a great experience with SoR. Each location is different but if you have a kid with an interest in Rock (no matter what their experience might be), check out the passion level of the owners to see what their commitment level is to the kids and to the music. Ask to see their set lists and look for theme shows and those who embrace an “Elvis To Elvis and Beyond” approach. If your kid is talented, ask what they do for kids “above their pay grade?” Are they free to audition for the House Band? Do only older kids get to “front the band?”
I can give you a list of questions to get honest answers. Best of luck!
      Chris Traynor

Lol, this is so ignorant. 90% of all band members from "the good ol' days" had some sort of musical background, either from school or a private tutor, especially the British bands. At the very least, learned from friends. Few actually 'just picked up the instruments' and started totally self-taught.
