So, I'm from Cleveland. Worked in radio, record stores, and have seen/heard many, many live shows. What happens in this 4:44 video is reckless, genuine, determined, fierce and fun. Everything Alex would have wanted it to be. Hey-hey-hey-hey: You are all my heroes..
Excellent cover, as a Scot and massive Alex fan I think you nailed it! I know Cleveland was one of Alex's favourite gigs in the USA and he was always well received there.

This is a fabulous cover of Midnight Moses by The Sensational Alex Harvey Band, one of Scotland’s greatest ever bands. Saw SAHB several times in the legendary Apollo theatre in Glasgow in the 70’s. Always total mayhem & memorable, they were ahead of their time & very inspirational to Bowie, Roxy & the UK punk generation. Thank you Cleveland, keep on rockin guys & girls 💚🏴🇺🇸

I used to see the SAHB back in the day in England. This is a great song choice excellently played ad with the right energy and danger. Standouts - the guitarist channeling Zal and then there's the singer...Wow is all I can say. Thank you all for this.

This song is from 1973 I believe = the SAHB were huge for a while in the UK - hailing from Glasgow- a real hard drinking rock band- and they were GREAT...kudos to these young kids doing this - and doing it well

Aye it was pretty exceptional Jim. I certainly was not expecting such an energetic and obviously well rehearsed rendition of such a classic. It is good to see that young musicians recognise the significance of Alex in rock history.

I feel like I made a comment already but if not let me say this, I’ve seen quite a few school of rock performances being a music teach and THIS performance is very very good. I hope this singer, especially …. Has gone on to something bigger. Good job to this band and this particular school of rock.

Half of the young people studying at the school of rock are girls and young women. They're totally going to change music.

They are brilliant and what a refreshing sight covering the great SAHB . Alex sadly missed but this is something else. The energy from the singer and the whole bands concentration is great

These are the best kids in their school, and they gig around town. And Cleveland, as has been observed before, rocks.

Always amazes me when I see kids this good! They are all super talented but the bass player and vocalist in particular are incredible.

Thank you! Takes me back to Glasgow 1963. Me fresh out of the US Navy and off to travel Europe on my new BSA. Good times with lifelong Rocker M/C mates in the Gorbals - the roots of ELF (Earth Liberation Font). Scotland rules and SAHB lives on with these amazing, talented rockers. Alex is PROUD.
Likely Alex Harvey died around the time their parents were born. I saw The Sensational Alex Harvey Band many times at the Roxy in LA. Harvey always put on a great show. He was far more influential then most people outside of music know.

Hang on! These school of rock kids shouldn't be THIS GOOD! Add to that how most American bands (even very high profile ones) get the wrong vibe when covering UK rock bands, you all nailed this! And that girl on vocals emulates the original (intoxicated) performance with the same energy while (presumably) sober - amazing!

First saw AHB in Blackburn early 70s supporting slade remember him coming on stage sweeping up in a overcoat remember thinking what’s going on here weird at the time but what a band❤

That is one of the best, possibly _the_ best covers of this SAHB classic I have ever seen. And I speak as someone who saw SAHB at one of their first ever gigs outside of Scotland and have ever since been a lifelong SAHB fan. Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou!
In 1973 The SAHB were the first ever band I saw play live. They made a lasting impression on me, and so did this band. Absolutely nailed this on all fronts, and as for the lead singer, we have a Janis Joplin reincarnate here. I wish them all every success.
