I had the opportunity to fish with Pat along Spring Creek a few years ago. At the time I was not a very good fisherman! 5 hrs with Pat and his instruction, I learned so much. I still use his upstream technic and what I learned. Thank Pat.
Hey there! We actually just started producing and selling it. You can find it here: www.fullingmill.com/Products-US/Dubbing-US/Eco-Warrior-Dub-Light-Hares-Ear-US
Hey filling mill! I love your hooks and I’ve completely switched over to your hooks for tying. What thread, hook, and rib is used on the BP Weiss? It’s the most effective fly I’ve ever fished now and I want to tie a bunch.
@@NorCalsteelheadbum Hey there! Thanks for the kind words. This can either be tied on our Ultimate Dry, Jig Force or Jig Force Short-it really depends on the size of fish you're targeting and the tippet you're using. The rib is UTC wire in black. The body is Danville Flymaster Waxed thread in 70 denier. We use either light olive or regular olive.
He does sometimes, which he explains in one section of this video! If you look in the chapters you should see it time stamped: th-cam.com/video/dvQsPpg08vI/w-d-xo.htmlsi=0U_AO8wZFwapDxT7
Great content, I really appreciate it!! Looks like you are using a hardy ultralight LL rod. I use the 10.8 and love it. My favorite dry fly rod is the same for me in the 9’2” LL. Do you have any recommendations for tails other than the normal coc de leon? I think the PT tails are great but they break to easily. Thanks a bunch !!!
Make up brushes are awesome. They are cheap as and you get a ton of flies out of a brush

Actually it is not a Hardy rod. It's the older generation of Master Nymph rods. I got two of the latest one ... I am actually thinking about selling one of them. (Fly fishing competition is expensive lol)
Absolutely! Lots of people do that. They would not use these techniques-check out bung fishing on stillwaters, straight line nymphing and the washing line.
Yes, your regular nymphs. Just rig up like you would for a river and use split shot to sink the fly. You don’t have to get on the bottom , just in the water column. Tight lines🪰🦗!!!
People talk about his fly patterns … Pat invented how to carry more than one rod on the river, just to cut-off all those who say: “there is no good way to carry more than one rod on the river” 😊
Funny, the mustard color is out of stock everywhere. Soon trout everywhere will be numbed and desensitized to it. Time for a new color variation! Then that'll go viral, we'll repeat the internet-informed fly-fishing consumer frenzy, and do it all over again! OK sorry but I'm outta time. Gotta go put more Yeti stickers on my Tacoma...
My friend, I can relate to everything you say. I could listen to you natter all day.

Absolutely fantastic. Thank you for sharing!
Loving all the content with Pat.
Glad you like it!
Excellent video -- thanks for sharing. I'm curious to know what dubbing you use for your mustard Walt's -- I'd like to try some here out west (nCal).

@@FullingMillTV Thank you so much!
I would like to hear Pat’s take on swapping out Jig hooks to Grub hooks on the Walt?
Works great, especially on the GRUB BOSS in 14-18
Pat-are you twitching or moving your fly at the end of the drift? If so, what is your thought process.

@ thanks a ton for replying!!!!!!! I’m sure comp fishing is expensive!!! Interesting rods there.
@@haydenstewart1659 thank you!!! I’ll check them out.
RBF leading the way!
Crazy question.. does anyone do any nymph fishing on a lake? If yes what flies do you use?
