  • Here are two methods to depressurize the fuel system on a 2001 to 2008 Peugeot 307 with a 1.4 litre petrol engine. Working with petrol can be extremely hazardous so please take precautions by wearing proper protective gear and having an appropriate fire extinguisher at the ready. Thanks for watching. Thanks for sharing this video. Its very informative. Allow me to ask why do we need to remove the negative terminal and not the positive terminal?

The negative terminal should be disconnected first to ensure that a battery dead-short does not occur if the spanner disconnecting the positive terminal contacts a nearby grounded metal part. A battery dead-short will result in short circuit which could potentially damage your electrical system.

I have a Peugeot 408, when I am drive, the engine vibrates and its torque decreases, and when I turn off and start the engine, the engine returns to work well. This condition appears in the case of climbing higher heights and also appears when the road is flat, what do I do I tried everything and did not find the fault

Yes I think you can if the pressure gauge has the correct valve connector.

@@Esrec26 It's for safety. It stops fuel spraying out under pressure when you disconnect the fuel lines.
