I'm going to the gym now, for the first time in months, and I give this guy 90% of the credit. Only been clean from fentanyl and nitazenes for 30+ days. Listening to this guy and the pain in my stomach still hasn't returned. No other man has ever been able to do that for me.
@MrBigMac-IN thanks I was clean for 13+ years then was in the burn unit in January. They gave me nothing for pain ans I went that other route. Still clean and staying clean. MAN has the market changed over the years
I had surgery for tongue cancer 2 weeks ago. My time at the hospital was absolutely horrible, the worst days of my life. I'm still recovering, so thank you for this video, it's good to see there is life after cancer!
You are incredibly life changing and inspiring. I do not believe cancer has destroyed your face. You literally just changed my life in 17 minutes. 17 minutes my entire life will be better because of you. thats a fucking powerful story brother and i am forever grateful for you sharing something so deep with not only me but the world. you are awesome and need to chase your dreams with everything you have. more people need to know you and know your strength, its contagious. you are a lion my friend. thank you i am following you via instagram.

My father had osteosarcoma. He had a tumor on his uper left cheek. His face was also disfigured. He was known to be very handsome. So when he needed his lower jaw removed, teeth, left eye and well he just fell into a depression. He didnt even last more than 2 years. He pretty much gave up and stoped eating. He later passed. This was in December 2018. Seeing your videos just reminds me of my dad. But im glad your living life. He had help. He just didnt care. I hope you keep living. I look forward to your future videos. Im serious.

Currently dealing with a central giant cell granuloma. I’ve already had it removed once in 2016 but it came back bigger and stronger. In 10 days I’m having a partial jaw resection and having my jaw replaced with the bone in my lower leg. I’m nervous. Thank you for the inspiration.

Oh thank you for sharing. IMO this is one of your best videos yet. When I worked in the hospital I worked in Medical Oncology which is primarily administering some of the more complex chemotherapies (that require the person to stay in the hospital), caring for patients who have complications from cancer or their treatments, and caring for those who are dying. Your video brings back memories to me of so many people that myself and colleagues cared for, especially the younger ones (my youngest patient was 13, and we lost him after many years of fighting). Trust me when I say that the patients who are with us long term (like months) we get very attached to, and care about them tremendously. We watch you having that nightmare experience and want desperately to fix it. I am so sorry you have to deal with this shit and at such a young age. You never know who is out there watching, maybe someone who really needs to see they can get through something, or another person who needs to put their problems in perspective. Thank you ❤❤
thank you. I'm relieved I was finally able to finish it. it wasn't easy but so worth it now to read these kind words. sounds like you know all about it though. I'm glad you made your way here!
You know Benzo, it's so funny you say that you put off making this video for so long. I came here from the link you put in Evan Carmichael's productive music series. It just goes to show you that all the information we learn from his channel does indeed apply to real life! A) After hearing you describe what happened to you, I put down "go to the dentist" on m to do list. I had to broken back teeth. Since they were in the back, I've put off getting them taken care of. Your video makes me realize that even though they stopped being painful, it doesn't mean the damage may have stopped. B)I've put off making videos for so long. Worried how I'd look, sound, etc. As all the top successes say... your "flaws" are what makes you special. What attracted me to your site was what you wrote. Figured anyone one Evan's channel who's dealing with a situation like that deserves a listen to. After watching a few of your videos I subscribed. You have great thoughts on life and I like hearing about your experiences. When the girl you have dinner with eventually told you she was with someone else, you said your reacted differently than you have in the past. I can relate. Since re-wiring my mind, things don't affect me the same way. I just had a similar experience less than a month ago. Thank you for being you. The first thought many would have (including myself) would be self-induced seclusion, hate or even suicide. The fact that you're showing your face and talking about it is helping hundreds (if not thousands) of people. I want to commend you on your courage and resolve. Keep reaching for the top and being a positive force on this earth. Blessings
This makes my heart happy. I am working very hard to get through school to he a physician’s assistant to specialize in oncology. I want to do everything i can to help persons diagnosed with cancer and their family. My mother died of ovarian cancer and we had an amazing experience with the employees. ❤️❤️❤️
I'm so incredibly sorry to hear that. I feel for you. makes me upset to hear human mistakes leading to that... sorry for your loss and hope things will get better for u ❤ thank u for being here.
I came over because you left a comment on Stephanie Lange's life update. When You were talking about feeling frustrated about telling your story I was reminded of something a good friend says. Some things have a time and the time was not Then, but now. Your bravery in telling your story and in your endurance of your experience is a pure inspiration. Thank you for telling this.
I'm so glad you did. Welcome!! I'm glad you enjoyed the video, and hope to see you around more. You're right, even in this video it was hard for me to tell the whole story again.. but I'm so happy I did thanks to people like you who take time out of their day to listen and tell me these nice things. thank you.
I think it's possible that a "dislike" could mean that they dislike what he's gone through and not necessarily what he's got to say. I hope that's the case.
You’re story gives me so much inspiration. I’ve been sick and vomiting for the past 16 days but you’ve allowed me to see gratitude in the midst of it. Thank you we all support u.
that means a lot. I definitely feel like I've turned a corner with my channel recently where people are really starting to take notice. It's an amazing feeling and it fuels me to do more and better.
You are a strong guy Benzo , both in body and head . Many have a lot to learn from you , both sick and healthy people . I suffering from heart and lung deseas ++ after a hard life , and i agree with you : Look ahead , not backwards. Greetings from a new subscriber from Norway .
Good Luck and best wishes from Germany. I am glad you are doing better. Stay strong !My brother went through similar shit. He had a stage 4(or 5) cancer in his lower jaw and back of his tongue. They told him they would do a strong chemo , so they could get the tumor a little smaller so they could operate and remove his whole tongue and his lower jaw. Actually, they had no hope for him. So my brother said to me "When this is over with you and I are going to the Lou Reed concert in Luxemburg in 6 month. He went and got the tickets before he checked in the hospital. The same night the tumor bust open ( him being a smoker he had waited way to long before going to the hospital) and he almost bleed to death. This happened 3-4 times. Every time he had to get numerous blood transfusions. They finally did the chemo as an inpatient. Surprisingly the tumor was not smaller , it was gone ! They did not have to make that big operation, they actually said it was a medical miracle . Also they closed the trachiostoma.I noticed You had that to. Once in a while during his stay when he was strong enough to sit in a wheelchair , I would wheel him out and behind the hospital and he would inhale a little joint right through the trach 😊 .My brother looked like Willi Nelson with long hair to his butt. When he was younger he had traveled around the world. Of course he went to the Lou Reed concert in Luxemburg !! Another friend went with him. I am to old for Lou Reed . Every few month my brother went back to the hospital for tests to see if anything came back. Three years later he was still cancer free , but than he suddenly died from a thrombosis . I miss him so much. He was a person who lived in the moment. And he drank a lot of Salbei tea. So again the best of wishes to you. Keep up Your positive attitude. ❤
oh my god. I was getting goosebumps of joy reading this until I read those last lines. I'm stunned. I'm so sorry for your loss but at the same time so moved by your story. You can be proud. He sounds like a legend. He lives on through you and your memory of him and I am convinced he will never be forgotten. thank you so much for sharing this with me. The love between two siblings is such a beautiful thing, and it's perfectly showcased through your words. Wishing you strength, love, perseverance and health. This really made me think. May he rest in peace.
Miracles do happen Helga Hamster! And your brother proved it... His belief and desire to go to that Lou Reed concert was just too damn strong... nothing was going to stop that from happening! Yeah... basically when your time is set to leave this life, there's no stopping it.... But occasionally, if we are lucky, we can delay it .... But you have to have the most enormous conviction that there is no way you're going now! And your brother definitely had that.... and that blessed him with another 3 years! Good on him! Let's use his passion for living as an example!
It sure is. I love coming back here to Belgium to escape the craziness that Barcelona can sometimes be. I'm about to go and sit outside right now after writing this comment. thank you for watching Alexa.
Bro, the fact that you kept your smile and your sense of humor throughout all this shit is beyond admirable. You’ve already won by surviving and thriving! I wish you were within driving distance so I could buy you a few beers and joints and we could laugh together about how absurd this life can be (Amsterdam anyone?) 😀 Btw go bruins! #subbed #hero
that's awesome that you recognised the shorts haha. you're saying you live in Amsterdam? I'm originally from Antwerp, Belgium.. but currently living in Belgium. either way thanks for these words man. first thing I read in the morning and it set me up for a beautiful day!
Just came from your comment on Peter's most recent video and man, what a story, subbed and look forward to seeing the other material you come out with, And thanks for sharing!
Needed this bro. Been freaking out about my jaw for years. Dentist said I was fine and x-rays were fairly normal. This inspires me to keep pushing and staying atop my health and attitude. So on time my brother.
I subscribed to your channel a couple days ago and I just want to thank you for having the positivity, strength and courage to post your story. I can never begin to imagine what you went through for those 2+ years, but since birth I have had a syndrome called Symbrachydactyly where basically in the womb 7 of my 10 fingers were not able to properly form and develop. I have an amazing life full of great family and friends but none of them can truly understand how it feels to be openly stared at, labeled disabled or at times rejected because of something that is out of my control. I know there are different severities to this and if I wish I can at times hide my hands and be unassuming, which is why I find your story and you as a person that much more inspiring. As I've matured I've grown to honestly and whole heartedly love my body and have rejected surgeries because there is nothing wrong with the way I currently am. Being different is truly a beautiful thing. Thanks again for sharing your video and please don't take it down so that it can continue to offer positivity and perspective for those who need it. I have never posted about my hands online and you sir gave me the courage to do so.
thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement and even more so for sharing and opening up about your own life. when I started this channel I envisioned a platform where people like you and me could come together and talk about their own experiences. it sounds like you have a very strong personality and definitely know all about looking at life from the bright side. I'm very grateful you found your way to my channel. we can never have enough people like you. thank you!!
You no....your not a bad looking man! I'm older woman. But I still no what's good looking! I'll be praying for you. Your strength n peace. Just going forward n you'll meet that woman that will love you so much!❤❤❤
Thank you for sharing your story, I know how hard it is to talk about it and think about what you went through because I too had oral cancer. Mine was a squamous cell carcinoma on my tongue. I know what it is like to face that surgery and wake up on the other side of it. I also understand the fear of its return. You are very brave to share your story and face life head on fearlessly! May God bless you!
Thanks for sharing man, you seem like a great guy with an exceptional positive attitude. You really made me realize how small my worries and frustrations really are compared to what you dealt with. You’re doing a great thing with these vids.
Thanks so much for sharing your story. You’ve inspired me to share my story that I’ve been too scared to talk about to my followers, but I know it’ll help other people out there. Keep being awesome and inspiring others ❤️👍
What an amazing person you are. You look and sound great and your confidence makes you extremely attractive. Very best wishes and keep going, much love.
Thank you for being courageous enough to share and elevate your narrative. Many people in this world are dealing with completely different problems of health but share similar struggles in mental and physical health.
So glad you decided to share your story. You truly are an inspiration. So glad you are here to tell your story as well. I was diagnosed with cancer last yr, good news is it was caught early, the bad news is waitin to be cancer free! 💝
Great video. It was concise and you told the story well. I have never experienced anything like what you have gone through. But I understand how the brain works with painful/traumatic memories. It’s like a muscle memory. When you talk about it, it’s almost like you’re putting yourself back in that time in a subconscious level and you begin to feel emotions as if back in that state. My fiancé died in a motorcycle accident 4 years ago and sometimes that still happens to me. Even a certain scent (like when I have to go through things from our old house that are now downstairs in the garage) can trigger it. I’m not gonna go into any cliches about tragedy. It is what it is right? Sometimes self destructive behavior is necessary for a while. Those times for me were like a lateral movement. At some point you have to keep moving forward bc you have no other choice. And I think your strides have been immense.
BigBoiBenzo you are awesome and I'm sending a hug and a kiss to you. Thank you for being so honest about your situation. There is someone out there that viewed your video and you have given them hope that they make live through the cancer that they have. You are such a blessing and I hope you realize that. Keep your head up, keep strong, and remain encouraged!
Very inspiring words! I’m sure that you will never truly know how influential you are being in spreading your positivity, and the impact your videos make... as someone who is going through a difficult time, it’s videos like yours that really stand out and help people like me through difficult days, so I want to say thank you!
You are such an inspiration! God bless you man. I don't know what I would do if I were in your shoes. I wish you nothing but the best. You are so strong. To know that you felt relief and not depressed shows who you are. Of course, I'm sure it was a roller coaster of emotions. You are amazing! To overcome such difficulties and keep being you is amazing. May God restore your health. Love hearing the birds chirping during your video.
I have just found you and i don't think it was by accident...I've been going through some..upsets in my life. Just hearing you speak about this and the fact that you are ABLE to sit there and tell this story... It's really improved my mood, my outlook on what's happening in my own life right now. Thank you for just sharing your story.. p.s. you look amazing!
I don't believe in random coincidence either dear Roxxy. you were meant to be here, as was I. I'm very happy you found me but i believe sooner or later it was always going to happen. hope youre having an amazing weekend.
Thanks for sharing your story. You're very inspiring. I can relate to how you felt while you were in the hospital after your jaw removal surgery. I was in the hospital for quite a few months myself and for me I was getting sicker the longer I was in the hospital because of all the germs in the hospital. Alway focus on what you can do rather than what you can't.
its true. I always say "you dont heal in the hospital".. it's impossible to fully relax, rest, sleep... and those are the most important things when it comes to recovering .. the minute I get home after surgery I always recover and heal a lot better.
New subscriber here🙋🏼♀️. You are such an inspiration. I can’t imagine what you went through, but what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger and you my friend are a BADASS! Love the positivity from your channel.
Thank you for sharing your story with us. You are such an inspiration! Your positiveness (if that’s even a word) is off the charts. 🙌💯 I love your energy!!! Happy 420 Benzo!
Thank you for sharing your story. Certain things are hard to talk about indeed because of the pain but wisdom comes from pain. Continue making the worst thing that has happened to you the best thing that has happened for you. Through you, you are helping so many others. Thank You
Hi there. I just came across your story in my suggested videos and have now seen 3 of them. In this one, I feel your emotions and understand why you don't like talking about past pains ... I just want to let you know that somewhere out here, there may be someone who really needs to hear the process you went through, because it may help them or someone they know. I believe there is a reason for everything! YOU ARE SOMEONE'S REASON! Rock On!
Wow, thank you Rebecca. I didn't enjoy making it all, but I knew it could potentially help others. I'm so glad you like my content. hope to see you around
As a recent sub to your channel I had been trying to find in your previous vlogs what your cancer battle was..... thank you for sharing your story that I can see still has a impact on you when retelling. In sharing your journey you will have no idea how many people you are helping or encouraging to understand what they are facing however truth be it that your positive manner and determination to keep being the best you can is inspiring to watch for those of us that have difficulty in believing there can ever be a positive outcome to our own cancer treatments. Well done BBB 👍
it's for comments like these why I do what I do. thank you so much and please understand how your words have a huge impact on me. really appreciate it.
Hey man i was on snapchat and watched the shake my beauty thing and I want to say you are an inspiration and don't ever let anyone steer you away from the person you were before cancer you are an amazing guy and I have to say you are a very whole hearted person even though I didn't know you or ever sene you before I give major respect and congrats on everything you have accomplished so far keep being an inspiration for people much love and peace i instantly subbed to try and grow your channel more as always positivity and happiness stay strong man you mean a lot to everyone who is around you agai. Love you man keep a smile on that face and have a warm heart ❤
You are truly an Inspiration. I came from the comments section about girls joining the boys scouts. You have a new subscriber and a New Fan. Much Respect. 💙💚💛💜💙
Hi I just wanted to thank you for sharing such personal and raw emotions on what happened to you in that dark scary time , I went through something with that type of emotion myself and I still can’t process it all in my head and with that scary lonely feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when I have a little flash back due to a noise, or smell of that time! So I commend you for your honest account of a snippet of your life!
I just came from your comment on Simnett Nutrition. I must say, first of all, you are encouraging others to move forward and never give up. Congrats!! Then, I will say that you are pretty lucky to be in Denmark for that marathon of surgeries bc in the US many people couldn't afford the treatment. I'm sure you are grateful for that. I just subscribed to your channel and will share your inspirational stories. Peace!
that means a LOT Daesha!! trust me, I also have lots of darker moments, but we can only try to make the best out of every day. glad you made it here :) xx
I've been watching your vlogs for a while. Found your energy and positivity inspirational and its definitely something I needed to watch. A little less than 1 year ago, I was diagnosed with liposarcoma in my thigh. Had a chunk of my hamstring removed along with the tumor. I got super lucky and caught it early, but it still takes its toll on me mentally. Then literally yesterday I went to the dentist to talk about removing my wisdom teeth and got told there's a pretty sizable cyst in my lower right jaw... Gotta schedule a CT scan to figure out what it is...
best of luck with this Paul. don't have negative thoughts, it's more than likely a standard case, I'm sure you will be ok. keep me updated on how it turns out, rooting for u.
Thanks for sharing!! I understand where the relief comes from finally getting a diagnose . Not knowing is always hard . Inspiring that you moved on & stay positive ! Cheers!
What an incredible outlook on life. Keep on keepin' on, dude. Exactly the right person to be a life coach and motivational speaker. Slight side note... you're really attractive, man.
damn that's nice to hear Dolly, thank you. your comment brightened my day, I just had a flight cancelled so this came at a great time.. hope to see u around my channel more!
You're so welcome! Sucks about your flight, that's rough. Hope you get to your intended destination at some point soon, haha. :) Yep, got yourself a new subscriber for sure!
You've taken every possible negative and turned it into a positive. You're an amazing person, don't let anyone tell you less . Much love to you, from GOA xoxo
Thanks for sharing. I recently found a video of a young man called gruen giving a talk about oral cancer, and he stopped me smoking. You always tell a good story, I love your positivity!
BigBoiBenzo I found him when I was looking for some harm reduction videos. It was an hour long, and I can normally only concentrate for about half that but he blew me away with his honesty and humour.

Listening to your story absolutely puts everything into perspective for me. I realise now that i should truly appreciate my health every day.
Your smile at the end is so beautiful!
You're a warrior, man. Respect for sharing this difficult story.
Wow. You are amazing. They missed my sister's cancers for years. They both died 3 months after diagnosis.
I'm so incredibly sorry to hear that. I feel for you. makes me upset to hear human mistakes leading to that... sorry for your loss and hope things will get better for u ❤ thank u for being here.
My deepest condolences... Sending all the best wishes xxx
Jag Girl...Lost my sister too....from missed/late diagnosis...Keep yourself checked sister xx
Lost my father due to late diagnosis :(
I came over because you left a comment on Stephanie Lange's life update.
You're right, even in this video it was hard for me to tell the whole story again.. but I'm so happy I did thanks to people like you who take time out of their day to listen and tell me these nice things. thank you.
Why would anyone dislikes this.. he's only sharing his story 😣😯😯
Shadow Monster, They're jelous cause his ganna be famous 😂
don't worry about that ;) the world is filled with random people and actions. I'm sure the ones who did couldn't answer your question themselves.
Nice video Mr. BENZO 😊😀
Thank you we all support u.
hang in there bud ;)
You couldn’t have done a better job at telling your story.👍👍👍
thank you so much Chris. was one of my hardest ones to make so far, happy I did it.
Talk about it more Bro people are watching . . . and your keeping it 100 . . . so inspiring 💪
that means a lot.
Greetings from a new subscriber from Norway .
welcome my scandinavian friend! glad you found my channel! hope you remain stable and live another 100 years. thanks for being here.
@@WoundedViking- Thank you Benzo and the same to you my friend , stay strong .
I cried a little. You are great story teller and a wonderful person for others to look to for support. I don't know you but I love you.
your love means so much. thank you, it gives me goosebumps to know my video's do these things for people.
Let's use his passion for living as an example!
heythere georgiegirl Thank You💖
You are a true gift given to humanity. Thank you! ❤️
Thank you for sharing!
I find the more you talk about an experience the less power it has over you. So keep sharing your story and inspiring others!
Thank you for your honesty. I found your channel and I’m finding a lot of inspiration watching, thank you.
welcome David, I'm glad you made it here :) appreciate your words
This yard is beautiful, hello little bird ✨🖤
Dude, you're stronger than me, I probably would have gave up. Appreciate the video man, makes me want to live life to the fullest!
Means a lot man
Just came from your comment on Peter's most recent video and man, what a story, subbed and look forward to seeing the other material you come out with, And thanks for sharing!

God bless you, you’re a strong strong person. Thank you for sharing your story and shinning positivy to others. So much love to you!
Needed this bro. Been freaking out about my jaw for years. Dentist said I was fine and x-rays were fairly normal. This inspires me to keep pushing and staying atop my health and attitude. So on time my brother.
happy to hear everything turned out well bro. health is everything.
I'm very grateful you found your way to my channel. we can never have enough people like you. thank you!!
Lauren Haggerty jjj
Be blessed, may God restore you! Give you double blessings for your troubles. Stay encouraged living life as a great example.

May God bless you!
thank you for taking the time out of your day to tell me this. a comment like this really goes a long way with me. hope you're having a great day.
@@WoundedViking Your very welcome. I am and I hope you are as well!!
I have never been through any of these experiences brother, but I just started crying thank you for sharing your story and being strong .

Thanks for sharing man, you seem like a great guy with an exceptional positive attitude. You really made me realize how small my worries and frustrations really are compared to what you dealt with. You’re doing a great thing with these vids.
means a lot man. comments like this keep me going!! keep telling me what you think, I value y'all input a lot.
Unbelievable that the first cyst wasn't sent to pathology. Or that no one suspected cancer.
it was! but it kept coming back clean
Thanks so much for sharing your story. You’ve inspired me to share my story that I’ve been too scared to talk about to my followers, but I know it’ll help other people out there. Keep being awesome and inspiring others ❤️👍

you're so sweet Mickey. thanks a mill. I'm stoked you found my channel.
congrats!! happy for u. we're the lucky ones
Thank you for sharing your immense strength with us. I am inspired to be stronger.
and thank you for supporting me and motivating me to keep going. We'll both get stronger together. thank you Amanda.
I know exactly what you mean, especially about the smell triggering memories part. it is what it is bro. thank you for letting me know.
I’m a chica. :)
whoops!! my bad!! :)
Your the man Benzo!!
my man Ryan! appreciate that fam
What a spirit. Such strength. Wishing you many years of fight left xx
BigBoiBenzo you are awesome and I'm sending a hug and a kiss to you. Thank you for being so honest about your situation. There is someone out there that viewed your video and you have given them hope that they make live through the cancer that they have. You are such a blessing and I hope you realize that. Keep your head up, keep strong, and remain encouraged!
well I hope you realize how much I appreciate you telling me this!! thank you very much miss Bentley. I hope you'll continue to enjoy my video's.
Cancer Sucks! Thank you for sharing your story. You’re a beautiful person. Keep going!
it does. thank you for watching sweet Gal :)
Very inspiring words! I’m sure that you will never truly know how influential you are being in spreading your positivity, and the impact your videos make... as someone who is going through a difficult time, it’s videos like yours that really stand out and help people like me through difficult days, so I want to say thank you!
I do it for comments like this. thank you for telling me.
Blessings to you , my g. Straight up. You are a soldier.
thank you brother
Love the positivity from your channel.
welcome to the channel, very happy you made it here. really appreciate your kind words, I look forward to hearing your future feedback.

BigBoiBenzo Will do my brother!🔥🌳
You are the most genuine person I ever came ‘across’. Watching your videos make me very happy. 🙏🙏🙏 stay safe, much love ♥️

Hi I just wanted to thank you for sharing such personal and raw emotions on what happened to you in that dark scary time , I went through something with that type of emotion myself and I still can’t process it all in my head and with that scary lonely feeling you get in the pit of your
stomach when I have a little flash back due to a noise, or smell of that time!
Peace!
Belgium, not Denmark :) thank you!! so glad u found me Denise. means the world to me that you're willing to help me and share my stuff!

You are a beautiful soul and an inspiration. Peace, admiration and love to you!
Cheers!
thank you for watching and giving me your input! and yes, not knowing is the worst.
You've been thru so much. You seem like such a nice person. Hoping all the best in your recovery. And regardless, you have a super nice smile!!

Thanks for sharing. I recently found a video of a young man called gruen giving a talk about oral cancer, and he stopped me smoking. You always tell a good story, I love your positivity!
I'm going to google him. sounds interesting. thank you.
holy shit I just found him. that's crazy, I never seen anyone like me like that. thank you for making me aware.
BigBoiBenzo I found him when I was looking for some harm reduction videos. It was an hour long, and I can normally only concentrate for about half that but he blew me away with his honesty and humour.
