    Thanks for taking the time to make this video! Just ran FORSCAN, tying to diagnose why my AC blows hot, and this code popped up!

    Thumbs up for the clear concise info..What would be the situation that requires it replacement.!!

    I realized that you can make the procedure without taking out the air box. You just gotta know were the sensor is and have your left arm and hand reach the sensor from behind. Great video anyways!

      Yeah, I checked like 5 videos and this guy had the best angles to see everything which deserves a thumbs up IMO! Thanks again!
      Edit: The location is also the same on the 2012 to 2014 model focus also.

    hey are there 2 sensors? one for measuring for the instruments and another that switches the cooling fan on off?
    do you know where the second is?

      I also think so, because on my s-max 2.0 145 ODB & gauge show not the same temperature... but I can´t locate...

      @ThatWorkx ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That would be the radiator cooling fan module which relays all that information to the fan to turn on and off at particular temps

    I just changed mine without taking anything apart. I just reached around from behind with my LEFT hand. Had it out and back in in 2 minutes.

    • @HidalgoMotorsCo
      @HidalgoMotorsCo  ปีที่แล้ว

      If you feel like you must do that. By all means do so but be sure to plug everything back up the way it was to make sure it all works properly

    Could this be the reason why the coolant fan stays on while the vehicle is off??

    I have a 2007 Focus and the fans don't come and bubbles over and only comes on when the A/C is on. Will this be the culprit?

    What was the issue that made you replace it

    • @miguelsalgado4673
      @miguelsalgado4673 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @Jimmy S i fixed the issue about a month ago,I noticed that the fan motor wasnt getting 12v to the module, so i went hunting for big fuses, and its in the battery cover fuse 8 which is a high current, and a loose wire in the fuse box underneath, where you will find more fuses

    You can do this without taking out the air box if you just reach from behind with your left hand, the box coming out was so not needed and a huge waste of time

    Dumb@ss Ford engineers should have put threads on this, instead of that clip. I had to already replace their clips on on the water heater hoses with real hose clamps. Thanks for the video

    OK... I did this. I pushed the sensor in as hard as I could and put the retaining clip in. I could feel that the clip was in the right place. Yet, a week later (today), it popped out while driving. I put it back in and filled up with water to get home. As I pulled in to my spot, I saw steam, and realized it came out again. I bought a new clip and put it in, but now I am really worried. Anybody have the same problem or know why it came out?

    • @sdiaz2k
      @sdiaz2k 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      sometimes the sensor is manufactured in a concave shape , so you need to replace the clip the same way it was (upright or downwards).
