Funbro, as set made not to win the battle, but to win the war, if the war is causing your opponent to lose hope in humanity. However, ever Funbro set has flaws, and cannot make a battle, TRULY endless. With the help of Sheeplol, I'm going to solve this problem, and create a truly endless battle!
Also, huge thanks to Sheeplol, for being a massive help with this video!

@@theapexsurvivor9538 I believe this is the reason Wobuffet was banned from OU even since this infinite loop was not an improbable scenario, I don't the issue was resolved until gen 5

I remember the first time shared power was omotm. I heard about it, crafted the most degenerate stall in the history of mankind, and topped the ladder in a matter of hours. Good times.
31% is close enough to regenerator that i think you should be able to set a mon up at a low enough level that they round to the same hp number without doing the steelsurge/8x resist shenanigans
Damage is always truncated, so it'd never work. If anything, you'd be doing less than 31%.
you can indeed start the loop with only neutral rocks/3 spikes by having 18 hp

2:35 confuses me; how do they have 4x resistances when fighting doesn't resist steel

Pawmot 4x Resist Steel and with the Ground 2x Resists Rocks, This is the opposite of the Tauros which 4x Ground and 2x Steel. Giving you the same result in the long run of 34% rounded down to 33%. It was most likely an error in the script

no battle can be endless because the computer simulating it can't keep running forever
IIRC there was a bug in an old implementation of PS where if a player resigned, the battle would still complete the turn before declaring a winner. If there were only those two pokemon left, the match would theoretically continue forever even though both players disconnected.

"balanced" hackmons but you can deny a pokemon the ability to struggle by giving it multiples of the same move

Would this still run up against the 1000 turn limit? I know that having 2 identical moves can cause wacky stuff to happen, but what exactly would it do?
@@blip_exists in gen 2 onwards, the 2nd copy of the move will fail while not taking away any pp from it

Moving the pokemon means you cant do it lamo I could mod in a mon whos ability is endless game I'm done ...
This has to win an award for "most obtuse Pokemon softlock". You need to play an incredibly obscure metagame, use a Dexited Pokemon and a Dexited move belonging only to an unused Pokemon, unban one of the main components, and allow Pokemon to use any move just to get it to work. Compare that to earlier gens where the softlocks are "use two Wobbuffet with Leftovers" or "use Rage on Lorelei's Dewgong as a pure Fighting type"
Lorelei's dewgong is against an AI, and the two wobbufets softlock can't get around the 1000 turn limit unfortunetly.
