Switching between my friend's stock 22 KTM XC vs my 23' TM300 I will take the TM every day, more power, better suspension, the way it handles I am much more confident on the TM. Only edge I would give to the KTM is it's so soft so if you're going extremely slow it takes the bumps a lot better and also seat height is lower which is nice for short guys like myself. KTM has a great bike not hating but glad I went with the TM. At the end of the day it's hard to go wrong with either. Nice review Kyle it's good to see the lesser known bikes getting some attention.

TM is a genuine ready to race machine. The KTM is a trail bike unless you make mods to the bike. Orange is also getting a bit boring now. TM wins for me but I’d have a 250 as they are more fun/playful.

I thought to myself while watching this review. "How do the Japanese even make money selling dirtbikes?" The Euro bikes are so much more innovative and push/explore dirtbike design. It is a fantastic time to be riding, with so many available choices. The European bikes really get me excited about the future of the sport! I really don't think I'll ever consider a Japanese bike before I'm too old to ride anymore!

TM it is a bike for rider that can keep it open, many fast riders in Europe are getting them. I know few lads here, one of them are absolutely rocket, no one get get thim for long time now. Even small en 144 kick ass on te150 or xcw 150. You dont need more aftermarket parts, why?. cuz this bikes from the box are well done. Cant wait to get my son en 144... big change from husqy tho.

Plenty of good after market parts for TM but not nearly as many options if you are obsessed with adding everything under the sun to your dirt bike. Also, getting OEM parts were not expensive compared to other brands and even less expensive sometimes. Nothing takes more than a couple days and local dealers are pretty well stocked at least here in AZ.

I think this is the hardest choice of all the bike giveaways. Everybody has an orange bike, but the parts availability is superior. The TM would be a one-of-a-kind in my neck of the woods. I know I've never seen one in person. It'd be very cool to own one and to have the backstory of how one got to own it. I look forward to add another bike next to my '17 YZ 250X.

I own a TM EN 300 2016 with a carburetor, it was well used but very cheap, used TM's go for a good price.
The best aftermarket mod i did was the JD Jetting Kit for my Carb, 3 new needles/3 new idle jet/ 3 new main jet/manual which parts for which altitude and temperatur. Must have.
Also check the Reed valves, when the carb is not in the right spot it might damaged the Carbon Reed valves, was the case on my bike, since then it works amazing. >:D
Absolut powerhouse, but a diva, everything needs to be on point to work right, electrical issues are a problem too, sometimes the bike just decides to not start, typical italian beauty, would not recommend to buy a TM when i'm honest, also factory parts are hard to get sometimes or are sold out, like what should i do now? ^^
I'm really wondering why Murica don't produce a good Dirtbike, you could do it, Ressources and knowledge is there, why is there none?
Or i don't know about it, would love to hear there is one. :)
Buell did some cool bikes for example.
Great video and good points, thx. :)

Shipping is charged to dealers separate from the cost of the bikes. Unfortunately those shipping costs have gone up tremendously in the past couple years and there probably aren't as many dealers that can absorb it into the MSRP of the bike anymore. The big, high volume dealers and ones that have been around for decades that have their business already paid for and run lower overheads might be able to. Gotta be tough for small or newer shops though.

Dealer 5 min from my house lol. I have a 2022 tx300 husky and rode a tm and I was blown away to say the least.

I agree that KTM is just the King of bikes! Great review and explanation of these two bikes Kyle!

Hmm, bet I don't even have to watch to know which one you pick. (watched) Yep, I knew it! As far as white bikes, I've built two now (originally the bikes were one green and the other red/black) and love the super clean look they have. If you take the time to clean them, and use a little Maxima SC1 on them, they'll look great for a long time.

When do you pick the 2 winners?
