- New generation of Panasonic cameras which are equipped with Wifi can be connected with your smartphone (android or iphone) so you can control them remotely.
On this video step by step procedure was shown on how to install Panasonic Image app, configure your camera WiFi setup, and connect to camera from smartphone either via WiFi access point or directly via QR code.

So do you have to connect to the ohone every time you use the camera? I got a FZ300 and I can not even find the QR code, FNC is not available on the camera it seams, and I have to reconnect every time I start the camera, and the only thing I can do is move images from the camera to the phone manually.

As far as i can see in that camera specs, it has a WiFi, so connection to the Panasonic app should be possible.

Hi if you know how to live stream outdoors please share with me.
It seems the WiFi network does not have to be connected to the internet. So plugging a router in a room you are going to be filming in may be all that is needed to control your phone via the WiFi signal generated.

I know this is a year or more later, but I don't think the HC-V160 has Wi-Fi. :\ I'm sorry. I believe the HC-V380K is the least expensive Panasonic model currently made that has Wi-Fi. The Panasonic HC-V250K also had Wi-Fi and was cheaper, but isn't made anymore seemingly. I hope you're doing well, take care Chloe.

Pity, no wifi on the HDC-SD90.
Panasonic image app doesnt work on Samsung S7 or any Android 8 device, and they refuse to fix the problem. Dont download if. Schlechter app!

4 mins of wondering if it will connect or come up with an error.....4 mins if yu lucky. Its a rubish app down to the useless connections methods
Super slow video. It put me to sleep while waiting for some of the connections. Probably could have fast forwarded your video so we didn't have to wait around for connections. Could have been half the time of video.
