I have had the App for a year but it was complicated to find out how to use it with my AG CX10. I have looked at too many YT videos which have always frustrated me because they were never clear and they always jumped some steps... FINALLY, someone who knows how to explain things in very clear detail. Thank you so much. Now I can control the camera remotely, and it's a game changer!
Hi Louis, Thank you so much for the video.... I have question. I just purchased an HC X1 and I was wondering if it's possible to use a generic USB wi-fi adapter instead of the ridiculously expensive Panasonic one. Which adapter are you using? Is it internal or do you need a USB wifi adapter for the HC X2000 as well.
Thanks Louis, your tutorial has been one of the better ones i have seen, can you tell me how to turn off the in-camera mic as it is interfering with my shotgun mic
I figured it out: when you go to WLAN Property, the Encrypt Key is a pass YOU make and then enter that when connecting to the HC-X1500 on wifi on your phone and then enter that same pass
So how do you manage to get the image that the video broadcasts to the tablet.... That I would like to know because my situation is that the Panasonic cam will be on a tripod and away from me, to film some birds, and I need to see the screen image a few meters away. Thanks
It works up to 5:11. I don't have a "jump" in the pop-up screen and can not follow the subsequent steps because there is no connection setting screen. Help...
Your instructions were very precise. However after several attempts I realized that this method does not work for the CX10.I think Panasonic needs to update their software.I did not attempt HC software as they have a CX software
Thank you so much for the video! I followed all the steps, but mine has not connected. I did notice that my camera to HC X 1500 has a port number already pre-filled in. I tried to remove it, but still it didn’t work. Any suggestions?
Hi Renderman.pro, The answer is no... You can control multiple cameras, but not simultaneously. Here's from the Panasonic website: Wireless Control from a Tablet or Smartphone Use wireless remote control with a tablet/smartphone app HC ROP (downloadable for free from the App Store or Google Play).*1 In addition to zoom and focus lens control, the app enables remote control of various other functions, including camera setting, picture quality adjustment, REC start/stop and menu setting. What’s more, the app can be used to select the camera to control from up to eight cameras.*2 *1: iPad/iPhone: iOS 11 or later and ipadOS are supported. Android devices: Android 6.0 or later are supported. *2: The app does not support simultaneous/synchronous control of multiple cameras. Camera switching takes several seconds. Cheers, Louis
I connected the camcorder to the PC to transfer the video files. But the PC does not see the camera. Where did I go wrong? This is my first contact with this video camera.
Thanks for the video. I have 2 cameras and try to control them via HC-ROC Multi. But I can not get it to work. I do not get a connection to the WLAN Does anyone have a good tutorial or even know a tutorial video about it?

hello, does the hc rop app have a live image on the smartphone for the hc x2000e?
Especially if I'm further away it would actually be an advantage

Hey Louis,
Do you think it is possible to control 2 cameras at the same time, as I see it's "multi" option there. For example zoom both camera in sync

Hi all, I sold this camera about a year ago, so I'm afraid I can't answer any questions about it.....
I will be honest. When I want finally put PW on my iPad to join PANASONIC network, it say that’s incorrect 🤔😢 What am I doing wrong?
Hi, sorry I can't help you, I know nothing about iPads and I sold that camera about a year ago!
I connected the camcorder to the PC to transfer the video files. But the PC does not see the camera. Where did I go wrong? This is my first contact with this video camera.
