Great video, thanks! You may have mentioned this and I could've missed it but I was just wondering what was the purpose of a drilling a countersink hole under the last piece of decorative trim? I'm just starting out in woodworking and am self-taught up to this point so forgive me if it's a silly question!
The purpose of drilling a countersink hole was to make the decorative trim flush with the surface of the door, since the screw of the door handle were popping out on the other side. I could also try to make those screws flush with surface of the decorative trim, but the material was already thin, i did not want to risk to damage it.
Wow well done, I will make this for my sister who needs additional storage!
Thank you, just what I needed.
I need something like this. Nice work

Do you have the plans for his build
Unfortunately there are no plans for this project, as each unit might be different slightly
How much did this end up costing you total?
Thank you for the comment.
The whole project costs around £50-£55 (including plywood, door hinges, veneer edging and dowels for decoration).
@MinimalMomento that's amazing I'll definitely give it a go, thank you 😊
No problem. If you live in the UK, you can find most material in Wickes (plywood quality is better and costs less), i'd buy the half dowels from B&Q.
