- Today I'm sharing how I turned this old dresser into a bathroom vanity with a vessel sink. Follow along to turn your favorite antique dresser into a bathroom vanity that will be the statement piece of your bathroom. I included every step from installing the vessel sink, drain and p-trap to modifying the drawers to fit around the plumbing.

Amazing job. Well done. We've just started working through ideas for our small bathroom redesign and I'm amazed at how realistic it would be to use an old chest of drawers as our bathroom vanity unit, Thank you. Can't wait for us to get started.
I love how clear and thorough your explanation is and how you clearly show exactly what you are doing! Thank you!
Your instructions and steps are so quick and precise. Great video
Fantastic. You did an amazing job. It’s incredible what you can do with a bit of research, a lot of hard work and attention to detail.
Thank you, Lisa! You have made my morning with your kind comments, I appreciate you!
Hello, "Nifty Nester", great video and thank you for getting down to business and simply stating the steps. I am so tired of every utooobers having some kind of gimmick, shtick and trying to be funny, when they're just wasting my time and being extremely loquacious. Great job!!!
Thanks for the detailed video. I’ve never done any DIY but am wanting to do exactly this for my house. QUESTION; did you secure the dresser in any way to the wall?
You are a fkn genius! I just found your channel and I love how you show that it's far from impossible to make improvements on a budget with the right planning and effort. PLUS i adore your style! ❤👏🏽
Your skills are amazing!!! This came out so beautiful - a cabinet sink I would love to have.
Thank you so much! ❤️
Oh you did this so masterfully EXCEPT for using that corrugated drain hose! That is not a legal product in USP code; the corrugations will trap so much nasty bacteria! The good news is that you can use plastic slip-joint drain tubing; it's really easy to dry fit, trim, and tighten by hand.
I know nothing about plumbing, but I was horrified, then it got worse.
Is this an Airbnb? 🤣
Yes, big red flag there. will lead to problems eventually. As well, finding a piece with an open interior would avoid messing around with the drawers.
@@dward7458and then you won't have drawers 😂
Awesome video!
I love the way it turns out !❤❤
Love it! Excellent tutorial and just what I was looking for.
The cabinet is lovely especially the colour. Always impressed with your work.
Thank you so much! ❤️
Thanks so much for the very detailed tutorial! Excellent!
Thanks for this video. This is what I hope to do shortly.
So detailed & clear!!! thank you!!!!!
Amazing job. Congrats!!!
WOW! You are amazing! I wish I could hire you to do my bathroom! GREAT JOB! It is gorgeous! 🙂
Love the grain in the top drawer.
Extremely satisfying
Thank you!
Nice job! I’m making a very similar sink cabinet for my bathroom right now. Great tips on the drawer modifications!
Very impressed!!! Beautiful work and the best instructions!
This is beautiful! Definitely going to do this!
I absolutely love it 🥰 great job!👏🏼
AMAZING!!!! This is what I'm hoping to do in our 1/2 bath.
This looks great! Thank you!
Love your style and can do it all approach!
Thank you so much!!! ❤️
Amazing job!
Thank you!!!
Awesome job Love it
Thank you!!!
I love how your "we" is the same as my "we" when I am talking about projects. We as in my husband ... :)
Turrned out amazing! You really know your sh*t!
Literally how did you learn how to do all this stuff? So amazing 🤩
Thank you so much! ❤️ I watched a lot of TH-cam videos when I started doing little projects around the house. You get more comfortable with the tools as you go, and it gets easier to take on bigger projects. Also, if you know anyone in the construction business, ask for help when you get stuck! I bounce ideas off of my spouse all the time when I have an idea and I'm not sure if it'll work.
Your dresser bathroom vanity looks amazing. I'm getting ready to do the same project and was wondering how deep front to back your dresser was? Most of the ones I've looked at are about 19" deep. I was also wondering what size and brand your vessel sink is. Can't wait to start this project!:)
Nice.
This is beautiful! Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
I know it hasn't been too long but how is that drain hose holding up? My drain is way off centered so this would be really helpful but I am concerned about draining/clogging with the ribbed design.
What did you use to seal the counter top from water damage?
What about levelling the vanity? Did you have to shim it at all? We are finding that our floors and walls are all supremely out of level and so using an older dresser is complicated :(
I dont know where you are, but that type of p-trap is not code in the USA
Nice Idea and great video. Isn't it great to have a man to do the tough jobs, who need to be paid well.
Everything was great until you installed the hose.
