I truly appreciate everyone who has supported my mission. I love you all thank you!
I have found that everyone suffers with addiction in different ways, we just suffer from a drug one. I journeyed my detox/ withdrawal off heroin from day 5 all the way to the present. I have journaled many experiences and have shown many of my stories on my channel. During this process I have learned much and continue to learn. I have found that we addicts need new people, places and things for sure!
People Overdosing and dying from addiction is real! I detoxed off heroin and know what its like to be stuck and not be able to stop using drugs. Intervention is sometimes necessary because I know the mind of an addict first hand. The way these drugs feel consumes the addict and they cannot think of stopping and follow through without proper help from others.
Addiction can be overcome. Cocaine, alcohol, benzos, adderal, ecstacy, opioids, heroin, steroids & mushrooms are just some of the drugs that I have tried. I wasn't addicted to all of those listed but I have experimented with these. The war on drugs is stupid and the stigma on drug addicts needs to change in order to help the drug addiction issues within America.

What's up my friend, the way I did it by myself (side from having you as a guide) without a program was a struggle yes, but... There is power in knowledge. Something I liked to do when I was withdrawing was learning everything I could about the drug. From drug forum pages to research papers done on the drug to lab results of MRIs done on the brain, on and off heroin. Let's break this down as quickly as possible. When you're high on heroin your sinuses clear up, you feel hot, it's harder to feel pain, I know it's a depressent (terrible speller) but at points you feel more energetic, and those are just to start with. When you are withdrawing what happens?well your nose starts running, you start sneezing, you feel cold and are sweating, you have no energy but are going stir crazy and can't sleep, the smallest of scratches feels like deep cuts. All of this is caused by the change of chemistry in the brain. Your brain before drugs has a specific chemical ratio for things. After using heroin for awhile that chemistry changes. It then understands that this new chemical structure is normal. When you come off heroin your mind starts changing the chemical structure back to default settings. But your brain is freaking out. Your nerves have been numbed for so long it feels as if they are spazzing. Your body forgot all that was normal and now has to be reset. Withdrawing is like trying a terrible drug for the first time. It's hell. But it will end you just have to wait for it to settle down. For me, knowing that I felt like shit because my brain was actually getting back to the default chemistry was everything. I knew my brain was attacking me because it thought it was sick. That it was on some kind of drug or poison. Because the state of high was now normal. But just as the brain can go from normal to dependant and can also go back. It's all up to the one getting sober. Are you willing to let your brain reconfigure it's chemistry without outside influence? That was how I did it. Like doing a bad drug... It will stop. Later friend. Sorry it's so long.

You're very inspiring man. You can tell you speak with experience. The beginning is definitely the hardest.. But once you get past that first 30 days, and you have other things in your life to focus on that drugs took away from you, life becomes more bearable. People places and things is the hardest to change. Cutting ties with people you used to use with, it hurts. But remember, its for you to get well. Besides, you meet great genuine friends in meetings that you can call anytime who want to help. And who knows, if the people you cut ties with see you doing good, they may one day want to change too. Hope everyone is doing well, and have a good 24hr.

I wanted to video my struggle but I didn't have the strength to even hold up a phone.Seeing & hearing is believing for me.Seems like all of the winners are talking the NA talk so I got the BIG BOOK on my own.I've been reading about the steps&I know I need the RIGHT PERSON to guide&work them with.No I haven't attempted to attend a meeting yet.But I plan to after I get thirty days in.I'm in a safe place(home) all because I didn't wanna detox anywhere else.I have stories to tell, but I'm still working on myself.I'm 60% back physically the other 40% is my mind. Can we talk?

You'll be blown away when you hear the stories of the other addicts, you'll know right away that you're where you need to be.
