I refused to get involved with him whatsoever while I was still legally married. If he was still there afterwards so be it. He wasn't and that was fine too because I wasn't divorcing my husband for him. Although my divorce was justified by his adultery, I was still accountable to God.

Years ago, when my married boss, who I thought hated me, started chasing me, as much as I was really attracted to him, I just never responded to him. I am not religious. But, I did not want to hurt myself, nor his family, including a wife that gave him 3 children. I also knew that, even with coworkers picking up on this new attention towards me, especially as he was white and I’m black, the ONLY person that would take a fall - was me. He’d either walk away, as clean as a whistle or fire me for sleeping with him. I knew that, with the type of person he was, that I’d there was “attraction”, it was partially because he felt it was a controlled situation and he was definitely a controller. I’ve been with a married man at work. Airport job. His wife and him went to high school together. Dated during college years. And she was on the road to becoming a RN while he didn’t have a job. He proposed to her, which makes him an opportunist. So clearly she is the bread winner. I met him while starting off at my new job, he trained me. I was going through a breakup, and accepted his invite to the movies and the rest is history…he has two kids but basically will never leave the wife because of the money, her house and children. LA is expensive and he’s never gonna let anyone take his spot. I fill in the void for him because he was a “metal head” in high school and I like rock music and concerts. Something his wife finds boring. He’s super mid life crisis, hitting 40, got a bmw, and now a tattoo😂 it’s a dead end for me and him for sure but we do enjoy each others company. This happened to me with an old high school coach! I have lupus and he’s supported my journey since my diagnosis as a mentor but recently admitted to have romanticized emotions for me ( he cld literally be my father lol) it was so weird. Years ago, when my married boss, who I thought hated me, started chasing me, as much as I was really attracted to him, I just never responded to him. I am not religious. But, I did not want to hurt myself, nor his family, including a wife that gave him 3 children. I also knew that, even with coworkers picking up on this new attention towards me, especially as he was white and I’m black, the ONLY person that would take a fall - was me. He’d either walk away, as clean as a whistle or fire me for sleeping with him. I knew that, with the type of person he was, that I’d there was “attraction”, it was partially because he felt it was a controlled situation and he was definitely a controller. Dodged a bullet and kept all my wonderful fantasies in my head.

I’ve been with a married man at work. Airport job. His wife and him went to high school together. Dated during college years. And she was on the road to becoming a RN while he didn’t have a job. He proposed to her, which makes him an opportunist. So clearly she is the bread winner. I met him while starting off at my new job, he trained me. I was going through a breakup, and accepted his invite to the movies and the rest is history…he has two kids but basically will never leave the wife because of the money, her house and children. LA is expensive and he’s never gonna let anyone take his spot. I fill in the void for him because he was a “metal head” in high school and I like rock music and concerts. Something his wife finds boring. He’s super mid life crisis, hitting 40, got a bmw, and now a tattoo😂 it’s a dead end for me and him for sure but we do enjoy each others company. Oh and he doesn’t even hide the affair at work 🤦🏽♀️

This happened to me with an old high school coach! I have lupus and he’s supported my journey since my diagnosis as a mentor but recently admitted to have romanticized emotions for me ( he cld literally be my father lol) it was so weird. He wld send gifts and do dinners with me but with his wife so that made it even more cringe !!
it is more the thrill and excitement they are married as opposed to just a single dude, the risk it takes, not only the casual sex. It is the excitement in the risk-taking behavior on both sides more so that drives these men and woman.
