I think the gimmick with the whole opening segment is that you can choose what power ups to take for the bosses, implying that you can take in the bosses without every single item.
So most of the video is collecting power-ups 12 Energy tanks 50 Missile expansions and 15 Super Missile Expansions and 9 Power Bomb Expansions 86 in all GEES!!!

Well I mean you can use the beam but... It's not optimal, your beam only deals 2 damage per stacked beam on it so in the end a total of 10*3 damage because of plasma it's triple the damage. so it deals around... 30 damage, a normal missile does 20 a super missile does 100 Ultimately placing Supers at top
Not only that, but for some damn reason it also works on Black Space Pirates, when it never actually does in original Zero Mission. :/ And you get Ice Beam... Before Ridley in the original Zero Mission game.
Nintendo really needs to do to Metroid what it did to Kirby with The Arena. God that would be great. And no, it would be nothing like the easy mode crap in this video. Needs no save rooms and limited ammo/health drops. Despite what the people who commented think, the first part with all the powerups is probably necessary in case you want to challenge yourself and try to beat it with limited power ups. Oh and that fight with Mecha Ridley proved this guy sucks at MZM.

All of those save stations don't really make this a boss rush... more of a.... here, have everything in the game and run wild! Aren't boss rushes supposed to be challenging?

At 7:48, the water "crystals" sprites are from the test levels of Metroid Fusion, which are used from the Wario Land 4 engine.
Im sure this would have less dislikes if the beginning of the video didn't have Mr. Game & Watch riding a pony oc.
