At that time Time Walk was worth $798 according to Goldfish and foil Dark Confidants (RAV, Judge promo, and MMA) were pretty consistently around $200. At best in late May 2021 the Judge promo is $234, the RAV foil is $109, and the MMA foil is $60 while the Time Walk is a bit under $4400.
My favorite part is that Jeremy just goes with it. It only took him five rounds to solve everything. His ability to Groundhog Day so seamlessly is commendable.
dragon shields aren't good for clean freaks because they collect A LOT of dirt. But they also are the best feeling, durability(other than that translucent hard plastic), and shuffling.
KMC Hyper-mat > KMC Mat > Dragon Shield (sometimes) > KMC Super > Ultra-pro Matte > Legion > Dragon Shield (other times) > Ultra-pro printed. I haven't used Max Protect, and DS has consistency issues. I've only ever split or broken a KMC sleeve when I accidentally caught one in the open end of another, and that can happen to any sleeve. If you get some DS with good welds (luck of the draw, unfortunately), then they'll last longer than the KMCs, but they aren't nearly as nice to play with. Added to the list are the stacks of weird Chinese and Japanese off-brands. Some of them are amazing, and some fall apart when you look at them wrong. I haven't found a way to tell which is which without just using them.

On their TTC podcast there's an episode about Victoria's Highlander scene and they explain that they don't use a ban list but a point system. That's probably what they are using.
That time walk would be too much power for most people. To be able to reset any day where you can convince someone to play a game of magic with you? I think I’d average living each day 5 times at least before I settle on the result.
