+bassvoice23 Because the MTG website is at the whim of however the wind blows through Hasbro headquarters. If you've been playing a long time you'll remember the Gleemax site. It was this poorly-defined vision for forums about games that functioned as a game itself. It never took off, but it functioned as a forum. When Randy Buehler left, the Gleemax vision died. The forums were down for SIX WEEKS before being replaced by something vastly inferior. Over the next year there would be constant issues with inability to log in, lost threads, etc. It was pretty much ignored. Then came the "social media" vision. The forums were expanded so that every user also had their own blog, people could form groups with their own schedule pages, there was a built-in wiki ... It was pushed by corporate to the point that all entrants to the GDS2 were required to do all their work on the wiki. (Which is not what the tool is designed for.) Naturally everyone hated that as the complexity made it harder to find what they really wanted to find. It fell into disuse and was abandoned for a few years except for a few stragglers who were still trying to enjoy the forums. Eventually even DailyMTG stopped linking to the forums at the end of articles. Speaking of which, over this time DailyMTG had several updates to the format and schedule. But now came the worst one: some boss at Hasbro read "Mobile First" in an issue of Forbes and ordered the whole layout to change. So now scheduled columns, special one-time pieces, and random bits of daily trivia were all given exactly the prominence on the Daily MTG page, with a little bit of text over a large picture, all in a random order and with no division between new and previous days. And the publish schedule was changed from "midnight" to "around 11-12ish when we feel like it." Naturally this has led to a drop in readership as it's more a pain to find what you want, and when you do you're less likely to browse around for other things of interest. Shortly after they also 100% removed the forums. Now you can't talk about Wizards of the Coast games on the WotC site. So with fewer people going there and people staying less when they do, it only "makes sense" to stop generating so much content for it. They've just recently dropped a couple columns (I think ... not that I can even tell what's a column anymore) and cut back on content like Friday Nights. It's just self-fulfilling management foolishness: make your site suck and people go to reddit, and then since they're on reddit you use that to justify making your site suck. But don't worry. In a few years a NEW manager will come on board and probably decide to launch a MTG tv channel featuring the Loading Ready Run Breakfast Hour. Because when you're the boss, no one tells you your idea is stupid.
I just noticed that in the YJ scene the deck boxes aren't the only Jund reference. Kathleen has red lipstick, a green scarf, and a black shirt. Seems pretty Jund to me.
The intro to Friday Nights always gets me nostalgic, remembering being up until god knows what hour in the morning, wrapped up in my quilt, binging all of Friday Night. Might do that again soon actually, it's such a fun experience. Also, I loved Paul's intro card :D
"Anybody here from Westvale Abbey? Yeah, I didn't think so." "Too soon!" I'm dead. I died from laughter, stopped breathing. Somebody call the authorities so that they can find my body.
one of my favourite episodes just for the setup of the Jund 'em, very on theme - also the cards in the intro go James, Kathleen, Alex - Green, Black, Red
Funny video as always. I laughed at lot at Serge's little bit and Graham's bad Magic stand up. Also, I love Kathleen's lipstick (what a lovely color) and how she was also Jund colors in her scene :)
Ahahhahahahaha, a friend of mine once made me into a planeswalker that milled linearly to the amount of coffee I've had that day as well as had an ulti that said "Target player makes you a cup of coffee, you may resume the game by playing his turn while he's gone" Aw man, I so identified myself with that card, lol :D
I feel like I am exactly Graham in my playgroup. And That's a great thing. James "fancy sleeves" Turner is great, The only problem with this friday nights is not enough cam.
Graham man, I love your character and appreciation for flavour but that was just rough.... Which was probably the entire point so great job! Also I'm really happy to see new cards in the opening and a new Missy card!
OOOoooooOOOOooooOOoooh..... I've watched LoadingReadyRun's youtube videos for less than a year..... and the music already st-strikes nostalgic chords with me......
I'm playing G/B Delirium. So far I can say I have gotten Delirium every single game out of nine matches between this passing Friday and the Friday before. Though I am still refining it.
OMG Paul's card is a reference to a very old Friday Nights where someone(I think Alex) was playing Phyrexian Juggernaut against Grahm( I think) and Alex and Matt make up a little story about him being from a broken home and not wanting to attack! YAY FOR OLD REFERENCES
Cam's card has one of my favorite things from a RoboRosewater Card, "You may look at your opponent." Wait, I need a trigger to be able to look at the other player? I love it.
Serious talk, the Werewolf sleeve problem was solved before the first Innistrad was released. Sleeve a bunch of checklist cards. Load your Werewolf cards into toploaders. Put toploaders in another box that can fit in your backpack. Retrieve toploaders as necessary during each game.
I know I've said this before, but...
*JUND 'EM*
+TheMagicManSam DO YOU HEAR THE CALL OF POWER!
THAT IS JUND CALLING FOR YOU!
Sadly Naya doesn't work too well.
when all else falls, jund them in the face
ID10TANK when all else fails, beat them in the face with dinos
Rhystic Studies no, NAYA'EM
When in doubt, Jund 'em out.
I could watch an entire 30 minute video of Graham's MagicTCG Standup.
Yes, do it. Late Night at Tuk Tuk's!
+Alchemistmerlin Please, I would love that
"Anyone here from Westvale Abbey?"
"Too soon!"
"Okay, how about Hanweir?"
"YES GRAHAM HANWEIR IS HERE"
These jokes were right up my Ally.
+rickxhoshinji i thumbed up but also no...
I now love you.
rickxhoshinji you have a sub now
"Don't say up my ally"-Cam
rickxhoshinji shame on you.
It's such a shame wizards cut down on friday nights. I love friday nights!
RIOT!
+Cony Why are they cutting down on Friday Nights?
+bassvoice23 I have no idea.
+bassvoice23 Because the MTG website is at the whim of however the wind blows through Hasbro headquarters.

+notme222 I would watch the BIONIC TROUSERS off of a LRR Breakfast hour!
Alex predicted an archetype from the PT Top 8. Alex confirmed wizard
How exactly?
LSV's BG Aristocrats - magic.wizards.com/en/events/coverage/ptsoi/top-8-decklists-2016-04-23
Alex has been a confirmed wizard since before Friday Nights started. (See: Commodorehustle - It's Magic)
Love the reference on Paul's card to the phyrexian juggernaut episode when he was first getting into magic. Self-references are the best references.
LOL that slo-mo Jundization was hilarious.
There are 8 scenes I can find containing the colours red green and black
@@penderrin1637 Paul's sleeve solution scenes have red green and black markers in a cup.
We need a full episode of just Graham's stand up
I just noticed that in the YJ scene the deck boxes aren't the only Jund reference. Kathleen has red lipstick, a green scarf, and a black shirt. Seems pretty Jund to me.
Also Missy’s outfit. Red leather boots, black pants and shirt, green jacket. JUND EM
And for the kitchen segments, the pen cup only has red, green and black
This is the fourth time I've watched this episode, and only now did I finally get the "sucker born every minute" joke in regards to vampires.
Graham is best worst comedian
You are best worst at making sentence lol
@@blaze556922 I see nothing wrong with their sentence besides some punctuation
@@jimmyrivera1830 You don't see a missing word?
@@blaze556922 it's not perfect english grammar but it wasn't intended to be
sometimes people talk like this
it's part of the joke
The intro to Friday Nights always gets me nostalgic, remembering being up until god knows what hour in the morning, wrapped up in my quilt, binging all of Friday Night. Might do that again soon actually, it's such a fun experience.
Also, I loved Paul's intro card :D
Yes!!! Someone does the same thing i do!
Another great Friday Nights. They just are never long enough; I know it was nearly 8 minutes but it felt like 2-3.
I would totally watch Graham's magic-themed standup
Watch Friday Nights, doesn't understand a thing, gets into magic because of it.
Couple years later, "this show is hilarious!".
"Anybody here from Westvale Abbey? Yeah, I didn't think so."
"Too soon!"
I'm dead. I died from laughter, stopped breathing. Somebody call the authorities so that they can find my body.
Thanks for recommending this to me TH-cam. For once, you did your job well.
Your channel name references the llama song. Are you a literal time machine
Gabe Jackel-Dewhurst Well Done. You are the first ever person that I don't know personally that gets that reference
How funny is it the opening joke about BG Aristocrats actually became a top 8 deck at the Pro Tour?
But that had shadows cards in it.
Cam's Jund-Revelation bit (from 5:24) is now one of my all-time favorite bits. Well done!
the triumphant return of JUST JUND 'EM!!!
missy is so dark and funny, i friggen love her character!
TOO SOON!
i so wish this happened more often we need more friday nights!!!
Don't worry Alex. My friends ignore my humor too. Also, Stand-up Graham is best Graham.
+Exhausted Elox aw, I thought this was Dad-Joke Graham entering his final form...
Love the Friday Nights series, but I wish it came out more often!
one of my favourite episodes just for the setup of the Jund 'em, very on theme - also the cards in the intro go James, Kathleen, Alex - Green, Black, Red
the amount of damnit Graham in this video is just right
+Keifeto so true
Funny video as always. I laughed at lot at Serge's little bit and Graham's bad Magic stand up. Also, I love Kathleen's lipstick (what a lovely color) and how she was also Jund colors in her scene :)
"I'm not sure if the deck is good, but it sure is a deck."
"Sometimes, that's the best you can hope for."
That moment when Alex was originally on the LSV pro tour plan. XD
Such an amazing video. I love this series so much! "rotatoes"
Hi mtg hq love your vids
Love your MTG channel
So you do know that there are other members of the community! 😂
The improper formatting on Missie's credits card is bugging me so much.
+Jared Vargas I noticed that too
love this series all the time, glad to see missy in the cast more.
the call back to episode 1 on pauls card is amazing.
Please tell me this means a whole new season! I've been waiting so long. Love the stuff guys, you make great work!
This brightened up my morning which hitherto was going terribly. Thanks
***** so far. Thanks for the reply
The texts on the LLR cast cards was awesome! They seem to reveal a little bit of their character's (or maybe their actual) respective senses of humor.
What sense of humor?
+naejin Hey, I'd play James in a Treefolk Tribal.
That is broken.
"..... you should play jund..." Idk why I love that XD
Ahahhahahahaha, a friend of mine once made me into a planeswalker that milled linearly to the amount of coffee I've had that day as well as had an ulti that said "Target player makes you a cup of coffee, you may resume the game by playing his turn while he's gone"

I feel like I am exactly Graham in my playgroup. And That's a great thing.
James "fancy sleeves" Turner is great, The only problem with this friday nights is not enough cam.
I'm very glad that this show isn't dead. Probably my favorite show to watch concerning magic
When in doubt... JUND EM' OUT!
Tuk Tuk's seems like a happening place. It's a shame that the landlord has to die whenever they need the bouncer.
This is the best Friday Nights
I'm playing G/B Delirium. So far I can say I have gotten Delirium every single game out of nine matches between this passing Friday and the Friday before. Though I am still refining it.
"Someone needs to brush up on their "Markov Manor."
Damn It graham, really?
I like to imagine Paul has SCP-914 in the back room and is just gradually feeding the card sleeves into it on the different settings.
Paul’s card in the intro is a throw back to the very first episode of Friday nights
Jund actually looks powerful this time around
I love how Paul's card is a reference to the first episode of Friday Nights.
I demand more stand up Graham.
There better be Hypnotoads in that deck, Alex ):
I Thought Alex would be taken by the Gitrog Monster
Man, Alex fucking called a top tier standard deck before it happened. What a baller.
Cam's card has one of my favorite things from a RoboRosewater Card, "You may look at your opponent." Wait, I need a trigger to be able to look at the other player? I love it.
"Too soon!" - Eldrazi scion token #6
New Moonbase looks sweet! And what Fantastic set design with those "clues" for Alex. Nice!
I find it highly improbable that FNM Alex would forget about Jund. He didn't choose the Jund life.
The jund life chose him
omg the absolute delight on Paul's face at the end was adorable.
57 other people thought it was too soon.
I’ve seen this video way too many times. I just got the “sucker born every minute” joke
lrr should totally make just a ten minute long videos with these magic jokes (the ones graham is telling) theyre actually pretty funny!
Love the phyrexian juggernaut reference! Amazing as always
I did not catch that...
Paul's card in the intro is a reference to the first episode of FN
I don't know how long you guys have been using the sliding camera, but it got a lot of love in this episode. I like it. Good job :-)
4:26 - 4:32 makes for a wonderful reaction gif. For example, opponent's creature's reaction when I use Oblivion Strike on it.
Daring Sleuth was one of my favorite limited cards in SoI.
lol "too soon!"
there's always a resident flavor judge!
Man, you went WAY far back for that callback on Paul's intro card. I like it!
The "Sucker born every minute" joke was actually really funny.
Am I the only person who thinks that the "comedy club" being called Tuk Tuk's is just about the best thing ever?
I'd watch a full hour of just Graham doing standup Magic comedy tbh.
finally a new episode
If you liked Graham's stand up bit, check out more stuff on the Loading Ready Run channel like Feed Dump and Checkpoint. It's brilliant!
Paul Sanders only knows fighting.
Graham's never-ending line of magic-related dad jokes have begun....
For he shall be known, from now on, as James "Fancy Sleeves" Turner!
Too soon?
Kathleen! I'm playing startled awake and talent of the telepath too!
4:29
Alex regrets the Taco Bell he had for breakfast.
"Cool and Slick Bluffing a Combat" Trick Jarrett
ya i sleeved an EDH deck into top-loader sleeves once, the thing doesn't shuffle well
A moment of silence for the unfortunate circumstances the Juggerpaulnaut finds himself faced with everyday.
I CANT STOP LAUGHING. pauls card in the intro is actually making me hurt on the inside from all the laughing.
+DragongodZenos it is possibly a reference to temple of the lava bears, where he played an orc
+jacob gagnacci no. it's a reference to Friday night not from a long time ago. about a phyrexian juggernaut who comes from a broken home
I paused and went back to the start of the intro about three times just so I could read the cards
"So hey Sorin Markov was in the news again"
We need more.
I don't think you understand what I said above. WE. NEEEEEEEEEEEED. MORE.
Help they turned Paul into Phyrexian Juggernaut! 1:36
Who remembers all the way back in the first episode?
Absolutely killed me with the Jund clues. Love it.
So happy to see this up!
I just hoped the LRR crew could find a way to do this bi-monthly. It's just great!
Werewolves and Vampires, Junderworld!
Welcome to the Junderdome!
Graham is my spirit animal of humor.
I just watched every Friday Nights. I am sad there isn't more.
James "Fancy Sleeves" Turner has a nice ring to it.
I NEED MORE FRIDAY NIGHTS
