You are the only guy that actual bothers to calculate load, it why you are able to do pulls with a gladiator that everyone else needs a wrecker. Well Done . As always
with enough line and snatch blocks you could do this recovery with just a few men. its all about simple machines
Lol that calculator was completely inaccurate
@@imchris5000 sure, but how many men, how much rope, where is the nearest anchor in line with the direction of travel. A z rig wouldn’t be enough ,too many men, Spanish burton, better but let’s go 5:1 , move the Jeep 20 feet = 100 ft pull , 10 guys tramping through the swamp, I think I prefer the Jeep method myself, why work harder.
My favorite off road recovery channel...
Glad to see you hauling the jeep to the jobs...those tires are too expensive to burn um up on the pavement..but cut a couple 6x6 or 8x8 blocks to put under the frame when you unload & load, before you crack the frame, either front or back on that trailer..I'm sure you have a plan for jacks, but blocks are good temps.!!
Congrats on the house progress & the ability to offer free services !!! Keep doing what ya do !!
I love that you evaluate, calculate the load, determine the best block and tackle setups needed for each job! I was able to recover an M60 tank with my 5ton Army wrecker by doing very similar inspections and calculations and then utilizing the proper process of block and tackle sets! Great work as always!
It takes a good man to help fellow offroaders get out of a jam and not charge a arm and leg to help out. Thank you for your good work. And that is a Nice Rig you have there. God Bless.
Seriously. You know he makes a few grand per video. Yeah, good deed.
There was one guy in Florida who had a decked out Jeep that was prowling the SOS off road groups and charging the individuals....
You should suggest to your customer to get some better tires for his jeep wants to keep playing in. The mud probably wasn’t a good one to do for free. Looks like you did a lot of work. Keep up the great work love the videos.
What’s with all the haunted crap on that Jeep? Maybe spend more on tires and less on skeletons next time?
I am so glad that you can afford to build your house and do these recoveries for free
! Good job dude!
You are the absolute best. You don't lecture; you just solve the issue.
The right equipment and the right man for the job ! 👍
I enjoyed the video very much.
Nice to have the roof of the house ready with all that rain 😉
Cheers mate 🍻
Arkansas mud is a little different.
Great recovery Matthew. That looked like it was quite the mess to deal with! Thanks too for the quick tutorial on using the load calculator.
Havnt seen the surface resistance/weight calculation before but thats pretty cool.
Man I can't get enough. I'm amazed at people that think just because they have 4 wheel drive they can go anywhere??? Great job, love watching.
That's so funny when I've been wheeling out there for years an years never been stuck to where I couldn't get out....people are so hateful.
Now that the channel has gotten big enough. Have you considered adding another vehicle to the operation? With your skills, I'm thinking a Deuce and half would complement that Jeep just fine. Setting one up for off-road recovery shouldn't be too hard.😁
Knowledge and great equipment. Nice job.
Nice on the house. Great video. Need Jack's on your trailer buy the ramps. Have a great day and God bless.
What he said ^
Beefier trailer! Stands would help it agree!
The right equipment can go along way but knowledge gets you much farther. Nice work as always man.
That mud looked slick. Be careful about building scotch blocks for other people. They’ll be stealing some of your recoveries. Lol
We used to worry about that, but I can give our jeep and all our gear to someone and they would fail at a job
Then we would have them out in 10 minutes
You have to have several things
The gear
The knowledge to do it
AND THE MOST IMPORTANT
the willingness to do it correctly
There's less incentive for other people to try making money off of recovery work when they recognize Matt is doing it for free.
Great Channel! Just a suggestions but maybe add some blocks/brackets to the underside of your trailer ramps? It really helps with unloading.
I had welded some “wheels” ( just two pieces of round stock drilled out with a bolt through the center) on to mine, sticks down 2 or so inches and it stops the trailer from 1. Dragging the tail and beating it up and 2. To make contact with the ground so it doesn’t flex as much when loading
There’s someone stuck at hot springs off-road park on the Rubicon Ridge trail. It flipped and won’t run. The post is a day old so I don’t know if they’ve gotten out yet and I didn’t see a phone number. I passed along your number.
Great job for not giving up when the creek was flooded. Congratulations on the roof.
Right on Brother great job 👍 Do yourself a favor and brush on or spray used motor oil on the boards on your trailer. Do about 3 coats and let soak in a few days and the smell will go away and it won't even rub off on you. Won't ever rot and the bugs won't eat on the wood. I've been doing mine for about 20 years and still looks new. I just recoat every few years.
Glad I found you again. You are the best at winching . You know what's up. Most of the other off road recovery channels are clown shows.
Garlic tablets for mosquito repellent in south arkansas works pretty good
So glad you guys are doing this !! Peace
That's pretty awesome you're in Arkansas. Watched a couple of your videos when we moved to st Augustine last year to see where to wheel. Funny you moved to where we used to live. Enjoy the Ozarks
That's some slick stuff! Mud always scares me bahaha
Always good to see another video from you..Glad to see the house is progressing !
Two more recovered and again well done!! When you trading in that Florida tag? Some states (like Florida) only give you 30 days to change over. And also do yourself a favor when you get your new license, take a picture of your Florida one before turning it in. Follow through and call Florida DMV and make sure they know you “surrendered” you Florida license to your new state. Otherwise when your Florida license expires you can’t legally drive in Florida with any license if your Florida one is bad so be sure again to let Florida know you surrendered it for your state.
Car show tires and wheels on that wrangler want get you out of the mud!
Hey, I'm really enjoying the show! I'm learning so much about what to do and what not to do.
Nice work. Interesting load calculator
Great job Matt! Glad to see the progress on your build and wish you all well during this storm season 🙏.
You make it look easy when it really is not!!!
Excellent work.
your jeep sounds so good. I muffler deleted my 3,8l v6 and it sounds almost identical. The 3.8l v6 is 4 cats and straight piped no muffler or resonators
Just realized you’re only about 3 1/2 hours away from where I live. Pretty cool!
the road to recovery was real scenic!
You've moved a long way Northwest, but these recoveries still look a lot like Florida!
It's Interesting that Arkansas has a similar monthly rainfall to Florida - around 50 inches, when the US average is 38
Have to love the mall-crawler tires
That look like a really fun trail for four wheeling.
Awesome material, I have to say. Some calculations and explanations along with some recovery action. Great stuff!! And also, Arkansas!))
we have been asked to add the rigging tech info in the videos
good job. i hope they gave u a BIG tip!!!
I just keep learning from you and your videos! Thank you for providing this great learning and entertaining channel!
Happy to help
The Zombies would have got em...ijs.
Yet another job well done. What's up with the skeleton on the back of that guys jeep.
Great job bro!!!
Another great recovery, thanks.
Good thing y’all were able to go through that off road park. Going through that raging stream wasn’t going to happen.
Love it
Cool
Well done!!
You made one hell of a machine!
That guy should have spent less money on stickers and bought a warn winch
Man cool to watch y’all do yall thing in Florida and even cooler seeing yall in Arkansas not far from me! Hope the video keep coming!!
Great job guys and I just ran ACROSS THIS CHANNEL AND SUBSCRIBED I hope it helps you folks out 🎉🎉
Need to add some stabilization jacks on the back of that trailer!
That we do
Another great vidio. Thanks Darryl
Why do these people buy jeeps, then put passenger car tires on them, then want to do jeep stuff. Good thing you're such a nice fella...
You should have a flat rate of 250.00 to cover fuel and maintenance for the jeep.
Matt ::: that was a walk in the park compared to some of recoveries in Florida ,,, on this one you are getting near my neck of the woods ,,, Nashville ,, about 1 hr south of this recovery ,,,,
Are you guys permanently moving to Arkansas? If so, welcome to the Natural State! Now that you're here don't tell anyone how beautiful our state is. Oh yeah we're really dumb too etc.
Yes we are here permanently
Nice job, Matt! So it sounds like you're turning your full time job into early retirement? To help out those who are less fortunate of course.
You guys are so awesome I love watching your videos
great video bro keep them coming...
Thanks, will do!
Those Mickey Thompsons are badass!
Yes they are
Looks like you moved up my way! Congrats! I’m up in Flippin Arkansas.
Yep, your about 90 minutes north of us
A great channel. I keep sharing trying to get you more subs.
Can you show a video on what you use holding your jeep while winching from the rear? You may have shown one before , but I'm a new subscriber, and I'm a little curious.
We do plan on making a video of those
Maybe I’ll do it this week
@@OffRoadRecoveryLLC Don't you already have a scotch block video?
@@JohnFL yeah but the sound quality sucked so we planned on remaking it
You are going on a 100,000 followers real quick
Zombie guy needs some new rubber.
Guy in stuck Jeep, Stick to a Tesla 😂😂😂
Now that you've been in the new area any changes to the jeep?
Chipped a tooth or two on rear pinon
New gear set is on the patio
That’s why it’s on the trailer
Other then that nope
Man you are amazing, you make it look so easy. Great job and video
Those mickey thompsons 👌🏽👌🏽
It's nice to see someone besides me using a Gladiator for recoveries.
👍
There's no way they would be screwed 😂
Thanks for deciding not to charge. There is still some good people in this world 👍
Where ever you go.... mud, mud, mud.
You should start a shop building recovery vehicles or upgrades to existing ones and have a small fleet going.
we are considering opening an "off road" shop after the house
good recoveries
i see this now, sorry i didnt see this video but awesome you guys do that and very entertaining at same time ;)
You better hope that those power lines above your head dont have an incident and snap falling into that water.
Some people pretend , adventure ,whit trucks not , ready for deep mud, or experience, on it.
Tow is a big jeep.
Angry eyes and windshield covers
That was awesome
Amazing how people think that a 4x4 mall crawler off factory lot can go anywhere! Vehicles need special fitment to go off-road. Especially a winch.
People are so hateful its not factory an I've put alot into it been offloading there for years 1st time stuck an couldn't rescue myself
An there s a winch nothing to winch to
If you dont mind me asking? Which exhaust are you running on your gladiator? I really like the way it sounds.
FlowMaster extreme cat back system
@OffRoadRecoveryLLC thank you very much.
Спасибо за субтитры
Yes like scale for load also , should had have your wife drive the other jeep out!
wet clay makes for a fun time
Tyres were that jeeps issue
Is this black Jeep a rubicon?
Cant believe the jeep is not snorkeled
You know you need some Fab Rats ropes, maybe...
Kinetic recoveries work best in loose terrain (like Utah sand). In the South, we have a lot more mud, which creates suction and requires a slow and steady pull
That said, Matt has kinetic ropes if he needs them
If I ran this business at show up if I see road tires on you vehicle Double the cost if your set up for off road you get the normal rate cause you just had a bad day. My favorite are crew cab diesels with highway tires $$$$
Where can you get one of those resistance loaders?
Keep up the good work brotha, we still cheating ya on from Fl
I hope that's a typo? 😁
im guessing he meant cheering, I know him personally as well
