I have seen guys bring an excavator to recover something this stuck, and you bring a jeep and an ATV. Your recovery skills are epic!

50 years ago the village saw their villager take down the church tower which the demolition contractor from the city couldnt take, with a hotbulb tractor from the late 40s and nothing but pulleys, anchored to several trees. He spent the morning rigging, taking the tower down took 5 minutes, packing his ropes and pulleys took a few hours. He was ready early enough to celebrate his accomplishment in the pub, before taking off home with the thunderously banging one cylinder hotbulb diesel.
As long as you have pulleys and an anchor point, you can move everything with anything.. Archimedes said, with a big enough lever i can move the world.

I have recovered many many many excavators, and I’m sure you don’t do it all the time but next time use the excavator to dig out in the front of your front plate make yourself a slight ramp using the excavator you had the right idea in the right concept, but it would’ve made it easier on you if you wouldn’t use the excavator just a littlemore in regards to digging out the front to make yourself a little ramp. I recovered them up in Dutch Harbor Alaska. I recovered them from the swamp of Louisiana and I did it also over in Kabala when I was deployed so I’ve done quite a few different recoveries. Lol but yeah, the right idea it took a little bit longer than it should’ve but you did good. As long as the end result is you got the machine out?

This seems amazing to me, your recovery skills are so diverse and your vehicle seems relatively conservative compared to other recovery outfits. It just makes what you do and achieve that much more impressive. Top job 🇦🇺👍❤️

That's badass dude! I grew way out in the sticks in NE Texas, rarely had multiple dollars lol, we would get stuck from time to time between fishing holes and a pig bayed up somewhere, we would just have to figure it out as we went but we made out, not quite as handy as you and that jeep though, but kinda takes me back. Nothing like a little work ethic and common sense, both rare nowadays! Awesome channel keep doing that thing

Great job!!! That mini excavator was super buried!! I can't believe the operator didn't stop before he was that deep!! That's crazy! I thought sure you were going to have to call back-up for some dunnage to put down for enough support to hold the Jeep from sinking. That soil is crazy soft when it saturated!!!

How much of the total time on site was spent sitting around waiting for the electric winch to cool down due to duty cycle limitations? One of the advantages of a hydraulic winch is that you can winch all day and not have to worry about duty cycle.
