great demo. the others are processed so much its more like watching a commercial as opposed to hearing the actual amp. this is a sweet sounding amp wowwwww
for some reason tc-50 is warmer and punchier than the cold tc-100 sound everybody says that and i agree...even with the soak at 50 watts on tc 100 is not the same..tc-50 is fantastic sounding amp
I have one of these heads. I love the versatility. In addition, the FX access on the footswitch is a super bonus for me. I have seen very little of this feature on a footswitch. I have no idea why more companies do not offer this-In my mind-"Essential"-feature.
Just got mine - lightly used for 15 hun , I love it . Even sounds great through headphones , or at low volume (through a 1x 12 mesa open back cab). Loud , through a 2x12 recto cab , and its better than my old Marshall stack (4x12 cab ) by miles . Just 35 lbs too . Perfect .
V30's are coming out of my mesa 2x12 cab and 65 watt creambacks are going in! These are perfect for a tc 50. I probably wont ever get rid of mine. Love it in my 4x12 oversized recto cab but for some reason I HATE the v30's in my 2x12 with it. These speakers are THE ones!
just got this amp, been playing for 2 hours and actually can't stop. Was stuck with digital (Helix) for some reason I can't understand at this point. TC50 all the way for me. Great demo by the way
Hi Angelo, this is without a Doubt the best Demo of this Amp so far -) I can´t believe how raw and tight it sounds at the same Time. Is it the Combination of the Guitar, Amp and Speaker that it´s so tight ?

To my ears This amp sounds more aggressive when using a different cab than 2x12 mesa. I tried the 100 watt version with an evh 5150 2x12 and it has some great response and brightness.
@@seasidewalktosand6567 WRONG. It tightens and lowers the bass a little, that is all. The true aggression is in the Preamp. There is no major Power Amp distortion going on in these demos. 6L6s are cleaner more HIFI tubes. They are capable of more output but they do not have the same harmonic qualities that the EL-34s have, that wonderful compression and upper harmonics...
I feel it could have been EQ`d better. I have one and run it into a Mesa 2X12 Vertical cab. I really like the FX switch on the floorswitch. Great amp for me.
I purchased this amp b/c I wanted a tube amp. I am very paranoid about the switch in the back about using the wrong tubes either the el34 or 6v6 b/c if using the wrong tubes and they blow it is not covered by the warranty. I will always be using the footswitch but can anyone explain to me about the tubes. I have read the entire owners manual but either my ADHD or the manual does not explain my paranoia well enough. Anyone care to tell me what my stupidity does not?Thanks ( anyone's help would be appreciated) A 50 year old idiot.
JOE DIRT hey joe if you didn’t change the tubes in the amp and was bought new it comes stock with el34’s and should be in that position by default what this means is back in the older days tube amps if you blew the tubes or wanted different tubes you had to have them serviced and biased by a tech now you can do it your self with the flick of a switch just as long as you give your tube amp 15 -30 seconds in standby mode before turning on your tubes should last very long as long as the amp is not being pushed hard in a gig situation good luck hope this helps and love Mesa Boogie own 3 myself and my TC 50 is my baby as of now!
34EL TUBES ARE IN IT. Are the 6v6 tubes the only power tubes you can do that for is there another tubes unnamed that I could use. PEACE THANKS---------
I know this is old, but, if you mess up and select the wrong tubes on the switch, Im sure this is bad for the tubes, but I don't think it'll kill the amp if not done for extended periods. I've accidentally done this on my Mesa Lonestar... in fact, play for like an hour with the wrong setting and so far both the tubes and amp are fine.

What a smart thing to add a Master Volume to each channel. Every channel switching amp should do this.
Most modern Mesa’s do.

I have two 1x12 cabs, one with a 65M and the other with a V30. I also thought my TC50 shined through the 65M. Your video confirms it.

We could suggest you the new TC-100. You can lower the wattage from 100 to 1 watt, allowing you to play it at really low volumes!
I usually prefer 6L6s but I think the EL34s sound better for this amp. Less fizzy. Now I gotta save up for the tc-100.

I'd lean to the TC-50, cheaper to re-tube, much lighter, and a lot of the same tones. Its a great amp.
