I tried out the Mark V a few times based on several videos here that made it sound good. But strangely I could not dial that amp in. Of the two, the Mark V head + recto cabinet was better than the combo, but neither one was quite 'there'. Then I tried the TC-50 and I immediately got great sounds from all three channels. And it still has a ton of tone adjustments and features. So that's the one I bought.
I bought the TC 50 watt head and a 2X12 vertical cab. I love the rig. The FX loop access on the footswitch is a feature I would like to see on more amps. Great video, sounds fantastic-Thank you.

Yes, I am thrilled with mine. I bought the head and cab seperatly. I can not lift combos due to prior injusies. I do not know about the combos, my 2X12 Horizontal is closed back, & gives me super tight response. Best of luck.

Very refreshing to hear musical clean and driven tones , without all that nauseating 100 mile an hour bs widdle shite , so much gain you cannot hear the amps qualities.
Listeners want hear in a musical context , not 100 mile per hour widdle shite ;a guitar player wants to hear music , not ego licks.

What tubes were you running in it?
how does this thing sound at loud bedroom volume? example... blues junior on 3 or a 6505 at 2 volume or a vox ac15 at half volume. Id totally get one if it sounds good at medium volume.
I tried to expand and zoom in what's the price on that sweet sound and Shur guitar that's a nice one

Uuuhm cause It's a mesa ? And the tripple crown is made for hiiigh gain. I mean it's ok to show it's versatile by playing other styles, just put some face melting metal In the end and it be great

@@TylerSocholotuik thank you Tyler if you're just going to play a bunch of heavy metal riffs and turn the God damn thing to full gain and add as much distortion as you can a Fisher-Price can work and sound just as good as a Mesa..lol. unfortunately we seem to be preaching to the choir my friend
