    Hey Jack .... Loved your video. You just convinced me to buy that demo TC50 combo at sweetwater. When you said that it was the perfect "Utility Amp" and " I can trust it to have the same killer tone at every gig - guaranteed." That did it. That was a pretty good demo of the amp too. I also liked that you showed how simple a rig you can have but still have dozens of distinct sounds using just the amp. Thanks again Jack.

    More frehley. I played a 3 pickup Les Paul for the first time and was blown away by the middle position. Going to keep an eye out for one. Great playing.

    That sounded great, the best sound I've heard on a video of the TC. I had kind of dismissed it as a versatile Marshall esq amp, but with a slight downside payback of a bit of a less dynamic, dare I say 2D soundscape I often find when compared to a Marshall. The usual conflict of versatility vs tone and dynamics. But not so here, punch and dynamics to the fore, nice episode!

    I predict that your channel will be huge by this time next year. Great playing, great tones, great personality and great info. I am curious to know more about how the Line 6 is switching channels on the Mesa.

    Powerful magnets attract the strings more, thereby inhibiting their vibration. Less sustain! I once borrowed a Strat with low output Lollar pickups and it had the most beautiful clean tones, but I never got a chance to try it for overdriven tones. One of my S-type guitars has Lace Alumitone pickups, which are medium output; I can’t decide whether I like them or not... they lack power on gigs, but occasionally, especially for recording, it’ll generate some tastefully, emotive tones. I’d have to conclude that lower output pickups defined bring out subtle shades and soulful tones, but for rip-your-face-off tones, a high-output pickup is often the best option, although your low-output Bare Knuckle pickups are certainly not lacking in girth. Review my opening statement.

    Fantastic video and playing thank you. I have a TC50 (swapped to 6L6s) and use with Headrush Gigboard (4CM). My main guitar is a denim Eggle 96 HSS (from Peach) again sounds great. So versatile I want to buy another amp I just can’t find a reason to!!!

    They are great you could live on anyone of the channels as if it was single channel amp videos don't capture feel of the amp, not a knock on the content provider they can only try to describe it with words. I was using a freidman be od on the clean channel just for the hell of it right to the front of the amp it sounded awesome . I like to keep it simple and this amp allows me to do that with 3 channels that's usually not the case for me

    DUDE!! that literally made me decide to go forward and buy the TC!! it's literally funny because after I got the HX stomp I watched your vids on Peach guitars, and I'm considering pairing it with the TC for the midi capability. I'm new to midi do you think this is a good idea? Awesome riffing, I didn't know that you could shred like that, very inspiring, amazing tone \m/

    Jack think we need a Dr Z Maz 18 NR and a few of your favorite pedals vs the TC and the L6 for effects showdown. Seems like that is the choice for a lot of us.

    Any quick opinions of the Boss attenuator in regards to its own solid state amplifier in “reproducing the original analog signal” of the valve amp? It’s a strange concept to me to have an analog input converted to a separate digital amplifier.
    Thanks, love the channel!

    That intro was heavy as bones!! In heavier tones i like the mark tremonti style wall of sound thick high gain, and the other is this one....not as high gain but rude as fuck. Nice one man!!

    • @anmolatwal
      @anmolatwal 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Regarding the amps, i used to be all gaga about fenders but the thing is when you try and develop and find your tone....you tend to see the things how they are and how they sound, i have fallen i love with the slo sound, and that boutique ac30 tones, victory, matchless, bad cat, all those.

      @anmol Singh - Just in case you didn’t know...the opening riff is “Call on me” from the album “Good to be bad” by Whitesnake. Doug Aldrich is one of the guitarists on this album, I believe.

    Are we hearing a cab with a mic? What cab? What mic? Is it just coming out of the Focal monitors?
    It sounds like a room mic with a cab or monitor down on the floor or back away from the mic in the room. I am guessing that there is no mic near the speaker. If it is coming out of the Focals then I am wondering what method you are using to get from the cab to the studio rig. Is there a cab with a mic in another room or are you running a line from the head to the interface or to something like an OxBox as a bridge.

  • @jasong546
    @jasong546 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    Love this channel Jack, I didn’t know it was here I thought you just had the peach channel. Is it the case that the Mesa amp there has a headphone jack? I always wondered what drives the decision to include it in one tube amp and not another. I wondered if it was included in lots of tube amps if the companies would sell more amps to bedroom warriors and maybe make more money. Anyway it’s sounding great as are your other videos, and I am glad a smart professional player like you is making interesting content, we need as much of that as we can get in today’s world. Thanks Jack!
