Buy cetane diesel fuel addative: Diesel fuel combustion depends on the auto-ignition quality of the fuel. Super-Tane improves diesel fuel cetane rating from 4 to 8 points, thus improving fuel quality, combustion and engine efficiency. Higher cetane diesel fuel makes your diesel truck, car, boat or equipment run more efficiently and more quietly, gives you more power and makes the engines easier to start while cutting down on black smoke emissions and DEF.

I installed a Banks Pedal Monster, Derringer, and iDash gauge on my '22 JTRD. That woke it up. I had mine one year too. I'm loving it.

I've heard lots of good things about banks and GDE, but the fact that you need them is disappointing. Also will the tuner void the warranty?

@@austinskaggs1852 About the warranty. With the Banks. You just unplug and plug back in 2 connectors. The GDE, you swap out the ECU. As they use a cloned ECU.

At one year with mine, and almost 30,000 miles. No issues. GD tune, running hot shots additive. I'm only getting 24-25 on the highway, but I have a rubicon with stock tires/rims, stubby front bumper, and half rack with rooftop tent. These engines like to run. They don't do well sitting around waiting for recreational use. They really do best when you run them a lot. Mine is my daily driver unless it's nice out (then I run my motorcycle or electric unicycle).

I have the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Ecodiesel - I run a lift and 37s also... the best thing I did was purchase the PEDAL COMMANDER... no more turbo lag and it runs like a whole new jeep. Hands down best modification...ENJOY!!

Yea the fuel costs more than gas. But a gas Gladiator on the same trip, same load would be lucky to average 20 mpg, never mind 27! So you take that into consideration, that’s like 33% better. So if gas is say $3.00 gal, like here in Florida, with diesel at $4.25? Again that’s ? 30% different. So it’s close at the cost per mile. But it’s the relaxed power driving up through the mountain passes with no downshifts, that would be least 2-3 gears on the gas truck. The best a friend gets in his gas Gladiator is 16 city depending upon red lights and traffic 18 if both are very light. , 24 highway at 65. What do you get, remember to add in the altitude.
