Last year, around 3's launch, both Takahashi and one of the producers of the series confirmed this isn't the ending of Xenoblade, only the Klaus Saga and that they intend to make as many games they possibly can. The next saga will start with the 4th main Xenoblade entry, whether it's called Xenoblade 4 or Xenoblade: [Insert Subtitle] is yet to be seen but it will definitely be a Blade game that is built upon the story, world, lore established in this trilogy just in the faraway future. The setting can be deadass anywhere, Neo Earth (fused Bionis/Alrest but millions of years after Future Redeemed's post credit scene, an entirely different universe or we have the ability to travel space and visit multiple planets/galaxies. Assumptions we can make after FR are that the main villains of the entire franchise are the divine existence that created the Zohar and sent it to Earth in the first place & that the past Xeno games are seemingly important to Blade's future. I predict Monolith's next few projects for the next generation of Nintendo consoles to be an X remaster, sequel, that New IP (outside of Xeno) and Xenoblade 4 in no particular order.
And when the two worlds, seperated for so long finally merge together into their original one world again....and how harmonic, warm and calm the ending notes are....

He actually wrote the original lyrics for all of the vocal theme songs in the series, at least for Xenoblade (but not X it seems). It makes me really appreciate the messages being conveyed in each song.

Actually the fans have missed the point. The merging of the 2 worlds is analogy of the real-world fans going to war over XB1 and XB2 and have now made up with the ending of XB3, a sort of redemption
@xid well, yes, the worlds were colliding with or without Origin, but they also needed to have Origin present to allow them to not annihilate each other upon the merger. So yeah, Origin wasn't the cause of them coming together, but it was the cause of them coming together peacefully
This credits sequence caught me so off guard, I was not expecting to see scenes from all three games here, so much so that it wasn't until I saw Alvis from one of the Xenoblade 1 scenes that it hit me that that's what I was looking at. The whole thing was just so unexpected and I couldn't help but break down in tears. This fucking series is amazing.
Alvis...this long road between two worlds needing to become one once more to end the last bits of Klaus and his failed vision for humans to become divine. This road is what he saw...
The second I saw the opening of XB1 I knew what they were doing and it broke me. It was late and I had an eairly start the next day but when I finished FR I got in bed and just stared up at the ceilng for a long time.

@@enzoforgets9456 The Klaus Arc is concluded yes, but that doesnt mean that there wont be a xenoblade 4. I do however think that this was the last we've ever seen of Shulk, Rex and the others. I think the next story arc will include completely new characters with maybe just some small references of some of them being descendants
I only finished future redeemed today... and man, do I have a lot of tears welling up rn. Future Redeemed was many things; a fun game, a DLC expansion, a prequel to 3, a sequel to 1 and 2, and a phenomenal way to tie up the core themes of the series (the future). And at the end all I can really say is: man, these really were the Xenoblade Chronicles...
It really completed the 3rd game. While I love the series and the third of the series, it always had the flaw that it felt incomplete. Unlike two where the ending is satisfying and complete but made better with the torna dlc. With this dlc, I can say that this game is amazing. Though I still wanted an epilogue showing shulk and rex in their respective world being happy.
Beyond the sky where we used to be in a moment of eternity, we saw one last you and finally reached where we belong. And now, the future awaits. Thank you Monolith soft, Thank you Takahashi for this amazing journey.
I just realized that the three segments refer to elements of each game. "With your foreseeing eyes /What do you see?" -> Shulk's visions "Will you give up / And stay where you belong?" "And you won't know / Unless we keep on trying." -> Rex nearly giving up after losing Pyra "But if there is a future / That's where we'll set our sights / From one sure step / We'll walk hand in hand / Just the two of us" -> Noah and Mio's eternal love and the focus on the future where it can be fulfilled I'm probably wrong, but each stanza really gives me the vibes that they're based on each story.
I feel like they generally apply to all 3 stories. The first segment can apply to Shulk/Alvis/Mythra. The second can be to Shulk rescuing Fiora, Melia and the High Entia, Rex saving Alrest, Noah and friends fighting to save everyone from Moebius/term limits. The last segment works for Noah/Mio for sure. I think it could also be a general statement for unity. Like the people of Bionis/Mechonis or Keves/Agnus living alongside each other rather than in conflict. Kind of like when Alvis said all life would walk together, hand in hand. But that's the beauty of songs that are a bit more subtle in their lyrics. Everyone can interpret and find their own meaning to it and it's just as valid as anyone else's.
I started the Xeno franchise in Middle school, and now look at me. Just graduated High School now. With this, I got to see the amazing journey I had with the stories and characters I grew up with along the way to the end.😢
Well its not really a theory, takahashi recycled various ideas from gears in making saga and then from both for Blade. Kadomony/Deus function in a very similar way to the Trinity processor and aion/artificies so its basically the Blade equivalent, with some changes.

@@MisterFath I don’t really think the conduit is instinctively evil though. It was used to destroy the worlds and split them when Klaus initiated his experiment. But before that it was used to rapidly advance human technology for decades. So I hope it’s at least mentioned again because I’m running a little dry on conduit juice since 2017. We came so close with part of the trinity core processor powering Origin too…

This journey throughout it all changed me. I will always adore it. It’s a work of art. To think that it all started off an innocuous decision to play 2 after that Smash Pyra and Mythra reveal. Oh, how little I knew I’d come to find my most favorite work of fiction ever made.
I am so glad I at least played Xenosaga Episode 1because DAMN does this song hit different. Literally using that EXACT same Vocalist AND Flute sound from that game's credits theme. Not much is capable of making me cry happy tears but this theme was absolutely one of those times.
I was speechless throughout the whole ending, saluted Shulk and Rex during there departure into Origin, and cried not a minute after the credits ended. These are facts.

I always envy veteran Kingdom hearts fans for a while because I'd bet the feeling of playing kh3 after being a veteran or even since the first game must've felt really good watching a ton of character arcs conclude and how the story builds up to kh3. I've always wanted to feel that from a video game series but game series like Kingdom hearts where you have to play every game in order to fully appreciate the conclusion of a saga (like kh3) is pretty rare in gaming. If there's more then I'd appreciate you tell me some game series. It wasn't until I played future redeemed where I got that satisfying feeling of watching the Klaus saga build up and finally conclude in this dlc. Yeah I wasn't really a veteran since I've only been playing since 2 but I've been playing and actively following the story of this series for years. I pretty much played every Xenoblade game including X and Torna. Though I never finished X because my Wii u broke and I don't want to buy another one because I poor. Can't wait for the future of Xenoblade.
Metal gear solid and trails (or kiseki in Japanese) are also long running series with a continuous storyline. Yakuza is also the same as well, so you’ve definitely got some options aside from KH
Definitely try the Trails series. I've only played the first myself but apparently it's basically the prologue for a massive interconnected series of like 9 games, all taking place in the same world
As a KH and Xeno gamer, this game hits me harder than KH personally. Maybe because 358/2 days already hit me super hard with Xion and then it slowly went downhill from that. Xeno series has its ups and down but after 3, Klaus has a better closing arc than Xehanort imo. Xenoblade is one of my top 3 game series of all time.
This is one of those endings like with the base game where I had no immediate reaction to it because I just didn’t understand it all, but after a few hours (and Reddit threads) I just love everything about it. What an incredible franchise. The way they balanced large scale philosophy, sci fi elements and theological concepts with well written small scale conflicts, relationships, character development and psychology was incredible. This is easily my favorite jrpg franchise now and my favorite franchise overall. Also, having played Xenogears, I knew I recognized that voice. So cool that they got her back for the grand finale.
I liked the ending but I wish they actually showed a bit of the world that merged successfully. I wanted to see shulk back with fiora, rex with his harem, noah and mio etc etc. Glad it wasn't left ambiguous like the original ending but damn. Maybe we'll get a little throwback in xc4 from a diary perspective or something xd.
The lyrics that play when we see Matthew's Ouroboros Fist with the Pneuma Aegis Crystal. "If you feel you've got no guidance" "I will always be near, right beside you" I'm gonna cry dude...they were with us the whole time...
It's so beautiful that Pyra/Mythra are just spiritually with us through the entire third game. There's implications that Matthew's fists of the end became the hilt for Lucky Seven, so it's a combination of the hopes and feelings of the people of each world. And Noah tosses the sword into the Ocean
For those who didn't know, the shooting star in the end is the same as the one in the official art promo for Xenoblade 3's music box, indicating how the main party did meet again in the newly merged world
So many thoughts and emotions. What was going to be a one off game until Satoru Iwatu said to make it a Xeno game really did change my life. I don’t think I’d be alive if it weren’t for XC1 and this series. The lessons learned pulled me away from those dark thoughts and are there to remind me to keep going when those dark thoughts come back. It’s enhanced how I view myself as a Christian, the world, and God. To Tetsuya Takahashi, your struggles of making Xenogears and Xenosaga paid off in the end and have touched my life and many others. So to Monolith Soft and the many others who worked on this series in some way, thank you.
Another Christian who was deeply affected by this series! Playing the first game at 13 I was drifting away from Christianity, but it literally was a big part (also my amazing youth group leader and my pastor) in bringing me back, which sounds kind of silly considering it's a game about "killing god" lol, but true story. And then Xenoblade 2 has so many Christian elements in it as well... I know a lot of it is Gnostic stuff (in all the games, really) but there's a lot that's genuinely non-heretical Christian stuff, like Rex and Addam. And the Future Redeemed ending is literally the "already not-yet", that the world is saved and we are redeemed but things still have to play out, but the "good ending" is coming....
I started with Xenoblade 1 all the way back on the Wii. Damn what a journey. Loved all the callbacks in future redeemed and the end credits showing us clips from all three games got to me. If the Xenoblade saga ends here I'd be satisfied. It's been an experience unlike any other. Cheers to Monolith and I look forward to whatever else comes next in the Xeno franchise.

They had to have remade XC1 for the purpose of these flashback scenes and others in Future Redeemed. There's no way they'd keep the old Wii graphics for those.

Moebius wanted the two worlds to be together, but with their acts they ended up keeping it separated and still annihilating each other. That's why their symbol, the Mobius strip, represents the two Earths. Ouroboros' desire to move on, accepting the notion of death and oblivion, allowed Origin to fully recreate the two worlds as one, as they were now composed of the same matter. That's why their symbol represents one single Earth.
Seven years of playing these games and I still can’t hold back tears even a year after I’ve beaten them all. This series is up there for me as one of the greatest in gaming, I’m so proud to have Xenoblade in my life.

I may have only started with the series two years ago, but this sequence made me feel like I have been with it for decades and I'm about to close a stage in my life.
There's something oddly comforting about the world's merging; i think some of us were under the impression that the worlds needed to be separated again for things to go back to normal. Seeing the separated worlds then merge into one... it was somewhat unexpected, but i think a lot of were hoping for that in the first place. This time, it actually worked!
Yes i think thats the point of the ending. Origin was suppose to only reboot the worlds as they were before the merge/annihilation. So the worlds get recreated separated. But at the final moment the hope and feelings of the people in origin cause it to merge the worlds, now compose of the same matter. Basically the opposite of moebius' creation, the collective will in origin now its filled with hope and creates a "miracle".
The saddest thing in all of xenoblade ain't the character deaths, sad backstories or turning evil like alvis. Its seeing it all come to an end with these credits😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

Good to Know In Colony 9, Rex and Shulk's students say that almost everyone was assimilated by Origin during the disaster, but the people who fought alongside Rex and Shulk don't know why they were spared
Shulk, Rex, Panacea, Linka, Riku, Melia and Nia. I believe those are all the characters who lived outside the Flame Clock System who weren't City citizens.
All of the liberators and both of the queens were spared, which is also why they don't age and eventually die of old age. They've existed since origin stopped working and would eventually merge into origin (Shulk and Rex), fall asleep (Melia and Nia) or die (Panacea and Linka)
I needed a second look because this all happened fast but good the worlds safely merged correctly that’s what I hoped would’ve happened. I think one final neat touch would’ve been seeinf all three games caat members meeting each other but I’m still happy about this ending.
Scary thought: we might have to wait for them to remake all 3 Saga games before we see a Xeno4 …And it’s definately going to be called Xeno4 because that name is too perfect. A sequel to both Xenosaga 3 and Xenoblade 3, and if you count it as a brand new series it would be the fourth

I'd say that the next game will be some kind of reboot-fusion of Xenosaga & Xenoblade X to fit the three main one. So I don't think the current Saga & X are any cannon but will be reworked. And sure Nintendo doesn't have Xenosaga rights but Bandai being okay with the idea is not out of the possibilities. They don't do anything with it in the first place, besides both company are in good terms. Bandai playing a huge role in the making of Smash is an example.
Try this as an interpretation of the song: It's about Tetsuya Takahashi and the players; both being afraid of whether games in the Xeno franchise will live up to each other's, their own, and the industries expectations. It's from the view of Takahashi asking the playing to dive in without worrying about whether it'll take something away from the games they know. Takahashi wants to make more and see where it can go, and he looks forward to the player taking their journey through all the games.

So if the worlds are fused now, and are basically transported back to how they were before the hundreds of years of war used by Z and the consuls. Does that mean Rex, shulk, and everyone else went back to normal and are now still alive, just sharing a world?

Look at it this way. Now the theater of your mind can run wild with possibilities. For every person who jokes that Mythra’s child is Dirk, there is someone who believes her child is a boy named Milton. Every Noah/Mio shipper has their own idea of how they reunite in this new united world. The future is what we make of it, and that includes continuation fanfics.
i was originally a prologue enthusiast , but now i know what takahashi means in his letter. "We will know the future of the series From the game and the DLC". The characters from base 3 and people like mathew,Na'el, Linka Panacea ect ARE THE FUTURE. They are the chracters we can look forward to in this new "arc"/ World And what the series will focus on, alongside Maybe xenosaga characters eventually? who knows. But this has convinced me monolith know what they are doing. They know EXACTLY how to get people invested and looking foward to their next game. Also the souls of the party and supporting characters from 1 and 2 are within The sword of origin. that is what gives it power. While Matthews's gloves and the sword of the end are given power Buy Pnumea And Logos. ( a source of mobeius power and ouroboros power) Also panacea and linka are proof enough that reyn,sharla ,zeke and pandoria got their happy endings. Unclear what happened to Brighid,dromarc, morag ,Dunban and riki though. Still confused if Riku is one of rikis many children of if hes like Kinos son or something.

@@ArceusDX We still don't know.. The Next Xenoblade installation have a high chance take place in the fused world between Agnus and Keves why wouldn't it be.. And in that fused world we would still have same history as the previous two world so they can make some cameo in story or diary somewhere.. And maybe some characters that have long live can also appeared like some Original Blades, Machina, Two Queen of Agnus and Keves, Or even A, Rex, and Shulk because it's spoilers but they became the avatars of origin in the end of future redeemed so they shorta became omnipotent now in new world cause of that.. I hope they didn't milk them up so much tough.. But it will be fun if they touch on Matthew Vandham, and A relation tough because in the DLC they seems to set them up to something but they interrupted by Aionios problem.. And If you know previous series like in Xenogears Matthew Vandham and A has very similar relationship like Fei Fong Wong and Elehayym Van Houten.. If they can connect them up to proper story than DLC it will be kinda soft reboot or retconed them in to new xenoblade installation it will connect all the Xeno series into one..
...or maybe they didn't show any cutscene of this DLC because it JUST HAPPENED in front of your eyes... It'd be kinda pointless, and by some standards disrespectful to players who just spent their time on the game. Nothing suggests any "alternate future" or "outside Aionios" about Matthew's story
This game was absolutely incredible, I have only one complaint. The fact that it ended And also that the actual founders Linka (House Cassini) and Panacea (House Reid) didn't get any screen time but that's okay because I still ended up loving them despite their minimal presence

If you're confused why they merged, it was Origin working as intended after Noah's team defeated Z and restarted the flow of time.

Actually the fans have missed the point. The merging of the 2 worlds is analogy of the real-world fans going to war over XB1 and XB2 and have now made up with the ending of XB3, a sort of redemption
@xid well, yes, the worlds were colliding with or without Origin, but they also needed to have Origin present to allow them to not annihilate each other upon the merger. So yeah, Origin wasn't the cause of them coming together, but it was the cause of them coming together peacefully
This credits sequence caught me so off guard, I was not expecting to see scenes from all three games here, so much so that it wasn't until I saw Alvis from one of the Xenoblade 1 scenes that it hit me that that's what I was looking at. The whole thing was just so unexpected and I couldn't help but break down in tears. This fucking series is amazing.
Alvis...this long road between two worlds needing to become one once more to end the last bits of Klaus and his failed vision for humans to become divine. This road is what he saw...
The second I saw the opening of XB1 I knew what they were doing and it broke me. It was late and I had an eairly start the next day but when I finished FR I got in bed and just stared up at the ceilng for a long time.
I cried.. so hard. I've been apart of this journey for 10 years, and the story is finally all over.

I think the next story arc will include completely new characters with maybe just some small references of some of them being descendants

I only finished future redeemed today... and man, do I have a lot of tears welling up rn. Future Redeemed was many things; a fun game, a DLC expansion, a prequel to 3, a sequel to 1 and 2, and a phenomenal way to tie up the core themes of the series (the future).
And at the end all I can really say is: man, these really were the Xenoblade Chronicles...

It really completed the 3rd game. While I love the series and the third of the series, it always had the flaw that it felt incomplete. Unlike two where the ending is satisfying and complete but made better with the torna dlc. With this dlc, I can say that this game is amazing.
Though I still wanted an epilogue showing shulk and rex in their respective world being happy.

I just realized that the three segments refer to elements of each game.
"With your foreseeing eyes /What do you see?" -> Shulk's visions
"Will you give up / And stay where you belong?" "And you won't know / Unless we keep on trying." -> Rex nearly giving up after losing Pyra
"But if there is a future / That's where we'll set our sights / From one sure step / We'll walk hand in hand / Just the two of us" -> Noah and Mio's eternal love and the focus on the future where it can be fulfilled
I'm probably wrong, but each stanza really gives me the vibes that they're based on each story.
I feel like they generally apply to all 3 stories. The first segment can apply to Shulk/Alvis/Mythra. The second can be to Shulk rescuing Fiora, Melia and the High Entia, Rex saving Alrest, Noah and friends fighting to save everyone from Moebius/term limits.
The last segment works for Noah/Mio for sure. I think it could also be a general statement for unity. Like the people of Bionis/Mechonis or Keves/Agnus living alongside each other rather than in conflict. Kind of like when Alvis said all life would walk together, hand in hand.
But that's the beauty of songs that are a bit more subtle in their lyrics. Everyone can interpret and find their own meaning to it and it's just as valid as anyone else's.
I started the Xeno franchise in Middle school, and now look at me. Just graduated High School now. With this, I got to see the amazing journey I had with the stories and characters I grew up with along the way to the end.😢

Well its not really a theory, takahashi recycled various ideas from gears in making saga and then from both for Blade. Kadomony/Deus function in a very similar way to the Trinity processor and aion/artificies so its basically the Blade equivalent, with some changes.

@@MisterFath I don’t really think the conduit is instinctively evil though. It was used to destroy the worlds and split them when Klaus initiated his experiment. But before that it was used to rapidly advance human technology for decades. So I hope it’s at least mentioned again because I’m running a little dry on conduit juice since 2017. We came so close with part of the trinity core processor powering Origin too…

To think that it all started off an innocuous decision to play 2 after that Smash Pyra and Mythra reveal. Oh, how little I knew I’d come to find my most favorite work of fiction ever made.
I am so glad I at least played Xenosaga Episode 1because DAMN does this song hit different. Literally using that EXACT same Vocalist AND Flute sound from that game's credits theme. Not much is capable of making me cry happy tears but this theme was absolutely one of those times.

I was speechless throughout the whole ending, saluted Shulk and Rex during there departure into Origin, and cried not a minute after the credits ended. These are facts.
Man you did cry until after the credits rolled? I was bawling my eyes out as soon as the meaning of the credits dawned on me (which was about 30 seconds in).
I always envy veteran Kingdom hearts fans for a while because I'd bet the feeling of playing kh3 after being a veteran or even since the first game must've felt really good watching a ton of character arcs conclude and how the story builds up to kh3. I've always wanted to feel that from a video game series but game series like Kingdom hearts where you have to play every game in order to fully appreciate the conclusion of a saga (like kh3) is pretty rare in gaming. If there's more then I'd appreciate you tell me some game series.
It wasn't until I played future redeemed where I got that satisfying feeling of watching the Klaus saga build up and finally conclude in this dlc. Yeah I wasn't really a veteran since I've only been playing since 2 but I've been playing and actively following the story of this series for years. I pretty much played every Xenoblade game including X and Torna. Though I never finished X because my Wii u broke and I don't want to buy another one because I poor. Can't wait for the future of Xenoblade.
Metal gear solid and trails (or kiseki in Japanese) are also long running series with a continuous storyline. Yakuza is also the same as well, so you’ve definitely got some options aside from KH
Definitely try the Trails series. I've only played the first myself but apparently it's basically the prologue for a massive interconnected series of like 9 games, all taking place in the same world
As a KH and Xeno gamer, this game hits me harder than KH personally. Maybe because 358/2 days already hit me super hard with Xion and then it slowly went downhill from that.
Xeno series has its ups and down but after 3, Klaus has a better closing arc than Xehanort imo. Xenoblade is one of my top 3 game series of all time.
The music was enough, they didn't need to add the cutscenes in the background. Now i'm in shambles for the rest of my life

This is one of those endings like with the base game where I had no immediate reaction to it because I just didn’t understand it all, but after a few hours (and Reddit threads) I just love everything about it. What an incredible franchise. The way they balanced large scale philosophy, sci fi elements and theological concepts with well written small scale conflicts, relationships, character development and psychology was incredible. This is easily my favorite jrpg franchise now and my favorite franchise overall. Also, having played Xenogears, I knew I recognized that voice. So cool that they got her back for the grand finale.
I liked the ending but I wish they actually showed a bit of the world that merged successfully. I wanted to see shulk back with fiora, rex with his harem, noah and mio etc etc. Glad it wasn't left ambiguous like the original ending but damn. Maybe we'll get a little throwback in xc4 from a diary perspective or something xd.

It's so beautiful that Pyra/Mythra are just spiritually with us through the entire third game. There's implications that Matthew's fists of the end became the hilt for Lucky Seven, so it's a combination of the hopes and feelings of the people of each world.

So many thoughts and emotions. What was going to be a one off game until Satoru Iwatu said to make it a Xeno game really did change my life. I don’t think I’d be alive if it weren’t for XC1 and this series. The lessons learned pulled me away from those dark thoughts and are there to remind me to keep going when those dark thoughts come back. It’s enhanced how I view myself as a Christian, the world, and God. To Tetsuya Takahashi, your struggles of making Xenogears and Xenosaga paid off in the end and have touched my life and many others. So to Monolith Soft and the many others who worked on this series in some way, thank you.
Another Christian who was deeply affected by this series! Playing the first game at 13 I was drifting away from Christianity, but it literally was a big part (also my amazing youth group leader and my pastor) in bringing me back, which sounds kind of silly considering it's a game about "killing god" lol, but true story. And then Xenoblade 2 has so many Christian elements in it as well... I know a lot of it is Gnostic stuff (in all the games, really) but there's a lot that's genuinely non-heretical Christian stuff, like Rex and Addam. And the Future Redeemed ending is literally the "already not-yet", that the world is saved and we are redeemed but things still have to play out, but the "good ending" is coming....
I started with Xenoblade 1 all the way back on the Wii. Damn what a journey. Loved all the callbacks in future redeemed and the end credits showing us clips from all three games got to me. If the Xenoblade saga ends here I'd be satisfied. It's been an experience unlike any other. Cheers to Monolith and I look forward to whatever else comes next in the Xeno franchise.

4:01 Cutting a Mobius Strip results in two separated circles, but in this case, those two circles interlocked to form a sphere that had been long lost.
Long Lost you could say lost Jerusalem
Moebius wanted the two worlds to be together, but with their acts they ended up keeping it separated and still annihilating each other. That's why their symbol, the Mobius strip, represents the two Earths.
Ouroboros' desire to move on, accepting the notion of death and oblivion, allowed Origin to fully recreate the two worlds as one, as they were now composed of the same matter. That's why their symbol represents one single Earth.

Seven years of playing these games and I still can’t hold back tears even a year after I’ve beaten them all. This series is up there for me as one of the greatest in gaming, I’m so proud to have Xenoblade in my life.

I may have only started with the series two years ago, but this sequence made me feel like I have been with it for decades and I'm about to close a stage in my life.
There's something oddly comforting about the world's merging; i think some of us were under the impression that the worlds needed to be separated again for things to go back to normal. Seeing the separated worlds then merge into one... it was somewhat unexpected, but i think a lot of were hoping for that in the first place. This time, it actually worked!
Yes i think thats the point of the ending. Origin was suppose to only reboot the worlds as they were before the merge/annihilation. So the worlds get recreated separated. But at the final moment the hope and feelings of the people in origin cause it to merge the worlds, now compose of the same matter. Basically the opposite of moebius' creation, the collective will in origin now its filled with hope and creates a "miracle".
The saddest thing in all of xenoblade ain't the character deaths, sad backstories or turning evil like alvis. Its seeing it all come to an end with these credits😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

In Colony 9, Rex and Shulk's students say that almost everyone was assimilated by Origin during the disaster, but the people who fought alongside Rex and Shulk don't know why they were spared
Shulk, Rex, Panacea, Linka, Riku, Melia and Nia. I believe those are all the characters who lived outside the Flame Clock System who weren't City citizens.

All of the liberators and both of the queens were spared, which is also why they don't age and eventually die of old age. They've existed since origin stopped working and would eventually merge into origin (Shulk and Rex), fall asleep (Melia and Nia) or die (Panacea and Linka)

This is literally the best ending credits scene of any media I have seen yet. Monumental!
I needed a second look because this all happened fast but good the worlds safely merged correctly that’s what I hoped would’ve happened. I think one final neat touch would’ve been seeinf all three games caat members meeting each other but I’m still happy about this ending.

I'd say that the next game will be some kind of reboot-fusion of Xenosaga & Xenoblade X to fit the three main one. So I don't think the current Saga & X are any cannon but will be reworked.
And sure Nintendo doesn't have Xenosaga rights but Bandai being okay with the idea is not out of the possibilities. They don't do anything with it in the first place, besides both company are in good terms. Bandai playing a huge role in the making of Smash is an example.

It's about Tetsuya Takahashi and the players; both being afraid of whether games in the Xeno franchise will live up to each other's, their own, and the industries expectations. It's from the view of Takahashi asking the playing to dive in without worrying about whether it'll take something away from the games they know. i was originally a prologue enthusiast , but now i know what takahashi means in his letter. "We will know the future of the series From the game and the DLC". The characters from base 3 and people like mathew,Na'el, Linka Panacea ect ARE THE FUTURE. They are the chracters we can look forward to in this new "arc"/ World And what the series will focus on, alongside Maybe xenosaga characters eventually? who knows. But this has convinced me monolith know what they are doing. They know EXACTLY how to get people invested and looking foward to their next game.
Also the souls of the party and supporting characters from 1 and 2 are within The sword of origin. that is what gives it power. While Matthews's gloves and the sword of the end are given power Buy Pnumea And Logos. ( a source of mobeius power and ouroboros power)
Also panacea and linka are proof enough that reyn,sharla ,zeke and pandoria got their happy endings. Unclear what happened to Brighid,dromarc, morag ,Dunban and riki though. Still confused if Riku is one of rikis many children of if hes like Kinos son or something.

Rex didn’t even acknowledge that he’s Matthew’s ancestor or that N was trying to take out his descendent. There wasn’t even a moment with him and Nia. I don’t know I like the future teases, but I was better off loving the base game and not playing this
I like they didn't show any cutscene when Matthew weapon shown.. because it's maybe happen in the alternate future outside Aionios.. It's truly beautiful
Maybe we're heading back to Alrest next game? Or this is the future that the worlds fuse. Point being... Matthew's story has yet to be told
@@Signedcentaur This is the end of the Klaus saga, we won't hear any more about these characters except in passing, all future games in the numbered series will take place on the fused world.
@@ArceusDX We still don't know.. The Next Xenoblade installation have a high chance take place in the fused world between Agnus and Keves why wouldn't it be.. And in that fused world we would still have same history as the previous two world so they can make some cameo in story or diary somewhere.. And maybe some characters that have long live can also appeared like some Original Blades, Machina, Two Queen of Agnus and Keves, Or even A, Rex, and Shulk because it's spoilers but they became the avatars of origin in the end of future redeemed so they shorta became omnipotent now in new world cause of that.. I hope they didn't milk them up so much tough.. But it will be fun if they touch on Matthew Vandham, and A relation tough because in the DLC they seems to set them up to something but they interrupted by Aionios problem.. And If you know previous series like in Xenogears Matthew Vandham and A has very similar relationship like Fei Fong Wong and Elehayym Van Houten.. If they can connect them up to proper story than DLC it will be kinda soft reboot or retconed them in to new xenoblade installation it will connect all the Xeno series into one..
