1 year later and still my favorite mix of this music! Also... HAPPY 1 YEAR! ANNIVERSARY FUTURE REDEEM!
We all knew that Alvis was gonna be the final boss of the dlc (even before that first teaser).
We all guessed that the theme would be similar to Zanza the Divine.
But nothing could prepare us for just how godlike this song is
This remains the best version up on TH-cam thank you for making it
It's amusing to imagine the Founders are fighting Alpha at the same time the Xenosaga party are fighting Omega
Xenoblade 2 final boss fight PTSD intensifies.
I haven't played Xenogears nor Xenosaga, but imagine if they did something similar with the moment in XC2 when we hear Shulk saying "Today we use our power to kill and god and seize our destiny!", that would've been insane
This theme was a perfect choice so many levels. Zanza's creator and administrator paralleling his theme as the true god of the Monado, as well as being twinning first and last final boss themes of the Klaus arc. Perfection.
God damn this theme is absolutely amazing. Perfect send off to Xenoblade in every way, just like Future Redeemed as a whole.
I was never expecting the final boss theme to hit this hard, it was already my favorite game along with the base game, but when the guitarist started ripping that instrument to shreads, man
yeah i jumped when i realized that it was Zanza's theme since he's Alvis's driver and all
A kinda implied in this game that Klaus was always Alvis' driver throughout XC1
I find this theme close to Godsibb from Xenosaga III tho, maybe closer even than with Zanza theme in how it's structured
@@photonbreak9158 I do have a question regarding that: How come Alvis returned to his core crystal? It was shown throughout 2 that Trinity Processor units can persist even after the driver's death (If they didn't, Malos wouldn't have been able to pilot Aion and Pyra wouldn't have been alive on the sunken ship), so Alvis should've been able to live well past the creation of the new world and even up to the moment of universal annihilation.
There are so many things that come to my mind whenever I hear this song... I just wouldn't be able to accurately express myself.
Instead, all I'm going to say is that this is without a doubt one of the most incredible and emotional final boss themes ever composed.
I am so glad they waited to do the OST release until after this DLC could be included. So many top tier songs
7:49 peak
Definitely makes you just want to yell out "JUST WHO! THE HELL! DO YOU THINK I AM?!!!!!!"
@@LittleAl016 i fucking screamed "TENGEN TOPPA GURREN LAGANN" when i saw it lmao
This sounds like the same vocalist who did the vocals in XC definitive edition’s version of Zanza The Devine. I personally felt that her voice didn’t really match well with the music, but her voice here in this track fits absolutely perfectly and brings this to a whole other level where i like this way more then the original. I couldn’t help but stay on the chain attack screen during the 2nd phase for almost 5 minutes listening to during what believe to the best part of the song. This alone made my pre order of the C/E soundtrack a great decision and so worth the buy.
That's Manami Kiyota. She voices almost every tracks she composes.
Some examples are Alcamoth, Satorl Marsh, Elpys, Zanza and Melia's theme. Now Alpha.
I also recommend some of her other works like: th-cam.com/video/fokA7vmz1-0/w-d-xo.html
@Gabe_29 doesn't she also does the ancient ship in 2 right? Ever since someone mentioned it's a slow melancholic version of 1's final boss, I realized it was true, and there are definitely parts where I can hear it clearly. Good ear they have. Extremely fitting too when you find out why it's melancholic, reflective and sad instead, who's found on the ship, and how close they ended up being near the birthplace of the architect and blade technology as a whole. It's actually kind of insane.
@@Gabe_29is she really the same vocalist who voiced the lyrics of Zanza The Devine in the original Wii version of Xenoblade 1? I wouldn’t have a clue if thats the case cause she sang The Definitive Edition version so differently and i found that it just didn’t pair well with the re-orchestrated instrumental they did. But her voice here was just so amazing that it surpassed divine.
You know, thinking about it, Ontos is probably the single most powerful character in Xenoblade (aside from Klaus with the Conduit of course).
Edit: I'm now realizing they made the grand final boss of this entire saga the literal Xenoblade.
Yea, the only trinity processor with access to their full potential by the conduit, being close to an actual god
@@lilli8295 ...I actually did forget about him. Whoops! 😅
Still, the Nopon don't exist without Klaus' experiment, so Klaus is probably still more powerful than the Archsage if nothing else.
Also if nothing else, Ontos most likely remains the most powerful antagonist.
This theme is INSANE
Brings new meaning to "I am Monado, I was here at the beginning and I shall proclaim the end"
I love that you let the instrumental part play a part in the song after the vocal loop. Thats how I prefer it too!
Ontos is so strong we had to fight him with half their power with half their power alongside the other trinity core crystals and shulk and Rex ans their kids
Good on you for linking the store for the OST in the description, the mix is great as well, but at this point that goes without saying if it comes from you
This track got me into the zenoblade series starting from one, curse you for making me by and get the games, all I can hear in my dreams are “BACKSLASH” and “it’s Rine time”
Loved this finale
Ooh, good mix.
This is Hades OST behavior and im all for it
damn this version is perfect, shame it got unlisted
This is the Best it should be played at Funerals and Weddings and Churches
Enable all controls to work properly with the following commands Enable sing loop continuously starting at 6:25 and ending at 7:27
Idk if this makes sense, but it feels like the people chanting in the song worship Alpha a lot more than they did Zanza
Any reason this was unlisted? It's the best version on the site!
If you look at the community post they said its because the soundtrack is getting an official release soon
I'll probably make a new version with the OST mixes. I haven't heard them yet but I know they're two separate tracks. Name is Redeem the Future
@@Kobob_KC Unfortunately the OST mixes dont have the instrumental section
Riku still being just a common nopon?
Si sabéis donde se compra la OST decídmelo pls
La OST oficial de compra?
