My brother and I have a Silcoon card, but in the basic evolution picture, it was a picture of Silcoon, not Wurmple. That means Silcoon evolved into Silcoon. :O

Looked back at my old cards when Vulpix was mentioned, and they even reprinted it as "HP 50" in Base 2 a year later. Come on, Wizards...

i once had a poliwhirl card that was spelled "polibhirl" or something along those lines (just normal card, was not holographic or anything)... It was a clear error in the writing of the name, but I was young at the time and ended up trading that and another card for a holographic celebi (at that time I thought I was getting the better deal lol). The guy ended up losing a lot of his cards when he went on vacation to Malaysia, including that misprinted poliwhirl. Always wondered what that card would be worth today if I still had it though....
You actually did get the better deal, assuming the Celebi was real. The Poliwhirl card was definitely a fake.
duckiegurl12 maybe, but i do remember getting it from a booster pack they sold at Toys'R'Us.... Not sure if its possible for fakes to get in there though

no it's a real card, with everything, it's just that the type is not electric, but steel
It's a Delta Species card, where the types are mixed up on purpose.

Welcome to the comment section of this video! You will see people who are saying that they had the Raichu card and people with fake cards or cards from the Delta Species sets.
I had a really rare Pokemon typo, instead of Eevee, my card said Lucario. It was eevee's description with eevees pic but lucarios name.............:p
It was definitely a fake and not worth anything anyway.

Aislin McCormick Of course it was. The only error Eevee card they've ever made was the WOTC black star promo card that was missing the accent over the "e" in Pokemon. If a card has the wrong name on it, it's almost always going to be a fake, but believe whatever you want.

Sure I do. I've been collecting for years, and I know how to identify fakes. It's a simple fact that cards that have obvious mistakes such as this are, nine times out of ten, just not real. Error cards are pretty well documented, as some of them can be quite valuable, and the fact that a simple google search is not pulling this card up just confirms it. But again, you're free to believe whatever you like.
When I was 8 nobody played the real game because the rules were too hard... and some texts were really weird... also in belgium we have 3 official languages, french neederland and german, the country is really small too... so after few weeks 30% of my card weren't in my language... because kids only care about the card not the text on it... it was a nightmare because some stupid kids said the german card were false! And they didnt wanna exange it... I remember when I got my first Charizard... nobody trusted me cause the card was in a different language... F*** this! :(

On one my very first pokemon packs I opened, I got a misspelled crobat and I still have it. :)

With the minefield card, I remember we said whomever played the card gets to choose how many damage counters. Since it affected both players, making it do high damage was a gamble. I remember one time we had it at 6 for some dumb reason and it just turned into a starter nuker.

My friend one time gave me a Roselia and it had a move called "Sleep powder" and powder was spelled wrong. It was spelled powdr.

I remember I used to have a First Edition Prerelease Aerodactyl from the fossil series a few years back. Sold it in a bulk of cards because I needed money.
I never found out how valuable it was, though.

It's not a Pokemon TCG card, but I had a French print of a Yu Gi Oh card normally called «Ancient Sacred Wyvern» which was renamed «Ancient Fairy Dragon». I don't know if errors are more frequent in YGO, or if translating the cards make it more frequent to find errors in them, but I still love that card.
Volt attack:pikachu does ten damage to itself
Then without reading the attack you think it does 50 damage

I also will tell you my game glitches.
1.Pkmn. red: Lt. Surge used a diglett.
2.Pkmn. Crystal: Raikou escaped from battle when I had a wobbuffet in the front of my party.
3.Pkmn. Diamond: I got an aerodactyl from a skull fossil(Im not complaining, just so you know.)
4.Pkmn. X: I found a wild Tangrowth in cyllage city.
Wobbuffet didn't had Shadow Tag ability in Gen 2.It's natural the Raikou escaping.

I'm probably the on,y one who caught this, but back in the day, when magic and pokemon were both made by wizards, there was a magic card called wild growth that made lands produce 2 mana instead of one, and meganium's ability is called wild growth, and makes energies produce 2 energy. Kind of a neat little call back. :)
My friend has a Snorlax that is called Sonrlax it has about 1200 HP it has made moves and its just WOW.

I had a Machop card with 50 000 hp and two attacks "punch" and "kick" that did 2000 and 3000 damage. Traded it for dark alakazam and dragonite-ex :3

I had that Holo Meganium, and the Vulpix. I had a few with the "black Pokepower Text" error as I recall...
I think I have those Vulpix and Vileplume cards! I'd have to check, but I'm pretty sure I do. And I've always called Phanpy "Phanphy" up until a couple years ago. Not sure why, but I thought in the anime they were saying "Phanphy" and never noticed there's no "h" in it's name. It was hard for me to start calling it Phanpy.
In an ordinary pack, I found a German Geodude, with the name Kleinstein. Not really an error, but interesting.

in order for the Raichu card to be worth something, it has to say pre-release on it. So everyone who says they have it check your card again.

ASDFGJKL; I HAVE THAT RAICHU CARD. I think I got it in a binder full of Pokemon cards that one of my best friends gave to me before she moved away. Apparently she got the entire binder full for only $10 at a thrift shop. I just find it REALLY funny that nobody knew about that one card, or else the entire binder would have cost a fortune.
I must now tear apart my room looking for the binder. >.>

In Vermont, I found a deck with tons of errors such as Prinape or "Prunape" as the card called it with a photo of a Machop and it evolving from Tauros
The funny thing about the first card he talked about, Vulpix, is my favorite card AND all the cards in 2014-2015 are HP 50 or something like that. I checked all my Vulpix cards and found it funny.

I have the HP 50 Vulpix. Quite a few, actually. Both my sisters and I got a deck at some point with at least 3 in the box.
I have a few cards where all the print on the front side is slightly off center, and the side with the pokeball on it is flipped upside down. I believe that all of these cards are in the Diamond and Pearl packs.

That doesn't necessarily mean it's real. If the name of the Pokemon is misspelled, it's usually fake.

Your electrode card is also a square cut card, which is another error. Your electrode is a Misprint, Miscut Manufacturer Error Card. If it is in good condition aside from the tiny crease at the top right corner, I suggest you get it PSA graded.

I have an error Krookodile that looks nearly invincible as it has 1400 hp and has a rollout variation called Krookoroll also in the description is says ahs instead of has in "If the defending pokemon already ahs any damage counters on it,this attack does 40 more damage" plus retreat cost is 5
I have a misprinted Wartortle card myself! In the "evolves from" box in the top corner it has a small picture of Wartortle instead of Squirtle, so essentially my Wartortle evolves from himself and into himself in an endless cycle!

Berry should've been on this list. I'll get back to you on what set is from, but it reads this: at any time between turns, if the pokemon berry is attached to has at least 2 damage counters on them, remove all damage from them and discard berry. At the beginning of each turn, if the pokemon berry is attached to has 2 damage counters on it, remove 2 damage counters from it and discard berry.
The Vulpix card I think was actually when they started making it be HP and then number because I have a lot of modern cards that show that.

sad Pokémon story. Had a massive prime holographic collection, was told by my mom her friend used almost perfect grade Ultra rare Magic cards to pay off some of her house. So I kept them perfect. well almost 15 yrs later I still have many 1st edition and Rare holos only. so my ex wife knows about their value, and steals them along with all my other collection of stuff I kept perfect.

I have a pokemon Pokedex book released around Heart Gold/Soul Silver. It has a lot of errors. One of the pages was a Scyther, that instead of saying scyther, said Koffing.
The original Team Rocket set had soooo many errors! I'd have to say my favorite is Dark Arbok.

I once had an Arcanine card that had the name Banette. I was new to Pokémon at the time, so I looked up Banette and realised that it was a different Pokémon all together. I then found out that it was a misprint and that it should have said Arcanine.
My favorite error card was my friend's misprint Rotom, it had HP 300 instead of the original 30 HP
What should i do if i have a 1st edition card in just about mint condition and two cards that aren't made anymore? Do i sell them or wait 10 years and sell them then?

Even in Germany the Vulpix has this Card Error. It says HP 50 instead 50 KP (in Germany KP is the translation of HP), witch made it even weirder
I have a Japanese Blaine's Ninetales with the same typo as the vulpix from 1996.

Cards don't always follow the video game logic.
And that psyduck is probably a delta species pokemon. Pokemon with different types than normal.
There is no freeze ailment, but paralyze is similar, so a handful of ice moves paralyze. Sorry, I'm bad at explaining thingz

I once had a flareon card, instead of an Eevee though it had an unknown fire type. I forgot the name, it was sometime when I was 5, but I wish we kept the card. It was slender and had the flareon head and tait, but not the crest. It was dark red and yellow if I'm right.
Most interesting misprint I ever found was unfortunately destroyed, along with 80% of my whole collection, when the area I stored them in flooded with water. (sadface)
Anyway, I found the card when I took a trip to San Francisco and stopped in at a shop that was carrying Pokemon booster packs in Japanese. Odd place to find them, right?
So the misprint was a Scisor, or I'm assuming that's what it was supposed to be, since it had a Scyther in the tiny upper left where "evolves from this" images go.
I said "assuming" because the Pokemon's picture was completely missing. In it's place was a multi-color place holder like what you would see on TV several years ago when the broadcasting station was not actually broadcasting anything, or having technical issues.
It looked extremely out of place on a Pokemon card, to say the least.

Dark vileplume has changed elements so its dark and poison, meaning dark types take 2x damage when hit with a fighting type move.

Fire Red Leaf Green's Hypno and Drowzee's error are pretty interesting. I have Hypno but not the "Drowsee" that BOTH cards say.
I remember getting a Mismagis that said Rhidon, and then later getting a Rhidon that said Mismagis. I also got a Nidoking that said it was level 500.
I used to have the raichu Prerelease card when i was younger. traded it for a atomic purple gameboy color and Pokemon silver here in wichita, ks. its crazy to know you had something of value and didnt even really know
