where's episode 3
First episode says 'over the next few weeks'. It's been nearly a year since this episode came out.... :/
Hopefully he gets around to it soon if he's not too busy...
I KNOW RIGHT!!
Hey man, are you thinking of reviving this series at some point
I remember when I was little and just got cards cause they looked cool. Tried to learn how to play but it was too hard for my age. I see how simple it it now :3
I bought 2 collectors tins yesterday, Charizard and Blastoise. In the Blastoise tin, the first booster pack I opened had a Shiny Lucario EX as the first card. :DDD
BRING ON PART THREE!!!!!
Please continue on this series.
YEAH CAN YOU MAKE PART 3 JWITTZ?
When is part 3 coming up
I wish he'd upload part 3!!! I actually WANT TO PLAY THIS
Waiting since 2013...
i remember when i was little, a friend of mine gave me a bunch of his old pokemon cards and i didn't know how to play but i loved looking at the artwork on the cards. i think i might start collecting them now.
"I'll see you guys next time."
When IS next time? Is it tomorrow? Is it when this keyboard gets destroyed?
Please! Continue this! it's the whole reason I subscribed!
he never made part 3
I really appreciate that you'd take the time to teach people such fundamentals and let them know BEFORE they just start buying packs what the best way to go about it is.
Thanks to your last "How To Play Pokemon TCG" video I learned how to play! I ordered 2 theme decks and teached my friend how to play. Then we both teached 4 other friends and we all love playing it.
So thank you JWittz for making these videos and teaching us new way to have fun with friends!
i once bought a tin box with raquaza and it gave me 3 EX cards raquaza and 2 others...idk if that was luck or i got the lucky tin
I once got two kyurem ex consecutively in two separate booster pack. Is that good?
You should make more of these. It makes my life 10x easier explaining this stuff to my brothers.
It's really awesome that you're giving out these kinda things, thank you Josh! And good luck to whoever gets the booster box!
When are you making another video? I want to know about the tournaments now.
Where is part 3? Its not on the channel and I cant find it anywhere else!!
Thanks, the day before part 1 I had just gotten back in to the PTCG, which I stopped playing 3-5 years ago, and I watched your video, taught my mom and 1 one of my friends how to play ( my mom also stopped at the same time as me) and we are all having a blast, and I have been to my first per-release in a long time which was plasma freeze, so thank you
JWittz, I just want to say watching your videos made me love Pokemon again, and I cant wait to actually learn how to play the TCG, instead of just having some cards....being a child we didnt know it was an actual game
the kid in 5:25 has a spurs jersey GO SPURS GO
I like Leafeon. Leafeon is my favorite. I love grass type pokemon.
Cool
To bad my mom won't buy me new pokemon cards until we leave.
It's not too sad. Even though I'm impatient most of the time, I'm very patient waiting for those cards. It's only around the end of the month.
There is a wallmart in my town and my friend said that the pokemon card packs there come with 60 cards
I found one in GameStop. GameStop, right?
Jwitts i have to say its been a long time since i played the card game. last time i played was at a local card shot that was running the pokemon card game league for the johto badge's at the time. only reason i stopped was because a lot of people stopped playing in my area. It's good to see someone trying to get people to understand the fun in the game. keep it up!:)
I love the little bits at the end. They take guts to try, and could very easily fall flat, but you always pull them off.
OI!!! where's part 3!!!!
Whatever happened to part 3?
This is excellent. I have had Pokemon cards for years, and although I love the video-games, I never got round to learning the TCG. Thank you so much!
THANK YOU SO MUCH! it has been years since I`ve opened up my collection, and I just bought a lot of new ones. I honestly can`t say how much I truly appreciate this! Thank you. I will totally sub to you! I know a lot about the video games, but I knew nothing about the card game, until now! THANK YOU!
lmao, "Cause all I want to do, is entertain." That was awesome, enjoyed it very much. Good luck to all the trainers out there that play seriously.
Where's pt 3???
Thank you for these two videos. I was debating wether I should get the pokemon TCG or not. I have now made up my mind. I'm going to pop down to the shop and buy a theme pack
Just want to say a huge thanks.
Your videos and great content is why I got into TCG in the first place.
Hope you keep up the great work!
Where is episode 3
Uhh.. Jwittz...
Part 3 please?
My friend Tyler got me back into the game when he took me to target and i pulled an entei ex right there, this video helped a lot thanks man
Pokemon TCG Online is SOOO much fun! Thank you so much JWittz!
Where is part 3!
how do you get energy cards i opend 2 tins yesterday and i got none
O.O Wut? They're supposed to come with the packs.
i know 6 packs and 0 energy and i only got 2 trainers
Try trollandtoad.com you can Normally get energies at about 5 cents each or theme decks and elite trainer boxes normally have a lot.
thanks
The main way for a normal player to get energy is from structure decks, which come with around 10 each of 2 energy types. Energies only come in packs of the first set of a new series, and even then, they are rather rare.
TheJWittz is awesome! ty for letting me relive my childhood.
Finally a part 2 of this!
So.....part......3?
6:12 Just saying, he never made that video.
Thnx for the advice! I bought a rayquaza ex tin and I got 2 holos and a terakion ex full art!!! U are extremely good at advice giving
Just getting into the card game so thanks a lot for this video!
I have like 2000 pokemon cards just sitting in the corner of my room.
Lol I got my cards from when pokemon first started. Idk what to do with them.
Is it to late to join the raffle. ((Kappa))

It's a simple as reading the description to get your answer.
+Curtis Harder lol
Thanks Jwittz I've been getting into PTCGO and it's all thanks to you and renae
Your'e videos are so helpful! I love watching them!
$5.00 = 1 Pokemon Booster = 10 Cards.
$5.00 = 1 Magic: The Gathering = 15 Cards.

+Scizor Beast looking back at that comment i didn't understand what i meant until i took another 4 looks at it. what i meant was that pokemon costs more cuz its popular. it became popular because it is better. i wish i wasnt a virgin
More cancer duplicates to burn tho js bronie
Never had a reason to tweet someone before. Glad the first time was for something awesome.
yes you did make me happy. I was actually going to put a comment asking how to play the game. thank you for teaching me and not allowing me to embarrass myself.
Came for the fun video, appreciated the contest, stay cool Jwittz
I felt very good and happy after this video. Thanks JWittz.

Great videos bro every helpful just recently started collecting but never played this videos have help thanx
I have tons of old cards, ranging from original series to DP. I haven't gotten new cards since pretty early in DP, to be honest xD great video!
Good thing Deoxys EX is only around $3-$6 now! Awesome vids man.
hell even if you don't have a twitter account go make one, this contest was the thing that made me go get a account. i collected the cards when i was younger but never really learned how to play, so i really like the fact that your uploading some videos explanation how to play :D keep up the work you have all of my likes!
I watched you other video on the game and it really got me into this cool hobby and so I like playing this game so much. other than that, thanks.
love the music in the background (I played it on my gameboy 3 years ago)
very good! I always enjoy watching your videos! they are useful, clear and funny! congratulations for the success of your channels!
Great video JWittz as always and awesome MagicKarp meme shirt :D
Bought two theme packs and it was a cool way to build a pretty good deck
Thanks, man. Just bought my first set of cards in 10 years. trying to branch out to other TCGs besides Yu-Gi-Oh! (which I'm pretty good at).
Thank you for releasing this video on my bday
I have a fennekin deck, both online and in the physical version. I also pulled a foil terrakion and meloeta from the booster that came with it ( I got a kalos starter set for Fennekin)
I just made a twitter because I was so excited, and now I'm following BOTH J'Wittzes!!! :D
1:05 Colletion. Aside that, LOVE THIS HOW TO!!!!!!!
I just got into pokemon again :) I bought a Plasma Freeze booster box today and pulled a full art Thundurus Ex, a full art Ghetsis, and a Deoxys Ex :D A great way to start
I appreciate your videos deeply
It took you quite a while to make this video! I even forgot that you were making a series on the trading card game altogether.
Older cards are still fine for casual play with friends. In casual play, it's fine to have a deck that matches your play style, because that's how you'd be able to have the most fun, IMO. However, competitive decks usually run only a few Pokemon (usually heavy hitters, such as EX's and sometimes a few "support" Pokemon), around 25 energies, and the rest trainers to get out those Pokemon and energies, as well help you in other ways.
I just got the x and y theme deck, and it's awesome
You are a saint JWittz
The structure decks are pre-built and can be purchased at many retail outlets that carry Pokemon cards. They usually have a number of two different types of energies.
Your incredibly generous! An entire booster box! Holy crap man.
That was used as a ticket to get into a Pokemon Movie 2000 showing at a theater, it has no use whatsoever in play, but its cool to look at! :3
No worries Jwittz! You made me happy! :3
Plasma freeze. Boxart with Leafeon and Glaceon. Both are 2 of my favourite eeveelutions!
I have to say. If your playing for fun or just starting off and need cards to learn from. Try finding bulk card collections on Craigslist or garage sales in your area. You can most likely find a large amount of cards for around $20 with a good verity
As someone who avidly collected several TCG and CCGs, I can definitely say that Pokemon is one of the most affordable, in addition to being really fun to play.
Time for part 3!
I'm twelve and did play for real but forgot the rules so this is great!!!
I love the ending!!
I have bought at least 38 packs of boosters from my target (plasma storm and boundaries crossed). I pulled three ultra rare ace spec holos. 2 full arts coballion ex and a skyla trainer. And at least 10 holo cards. Pretty good to me.
I'm looking forward to Megalocanon and I am deff hoping that Blastiose/Kyurem ex Combo deck is released in the states, solely for suicune with it's new pokebody
I recommend you start with the Trainer Challenge on PTCGO. Watch some Top Cut games and learn the top decks, do some research, and then use PlayTCG, which is a free in-browser Pokemon game (and uses BebesSearch for the decklist). I was able to pick up the game pretty quickly going this route, though figuring out the top decks took awhile. I've since top cut two State tournaments. Best of luck to you.
Sooo good dude! thats 360 cards
Well, you can casually. It's called playing "unlimited", but it is not allowed in tournaments. But some older cards can still be used. I think you can still use double colorless energy from old sets. But new cards are much stronger. For example, base set charizard required 4 energy to do 100 damage, and required you to discard 2 energy to use. And this was awesome back then. Now, we have infernape that can do 120 and requires you to discard all energy, but it only has a 2 energy cost.
Hey thanks jwittz I made a new electric fire deck using a booster box I bought for myself thank you very much for the info
Thanks Jwittz! This really helped me out! Now I want to play... =P
do you think 4.25 USD is pricey for a booster pack ? Here in Portugal one costs 5 euros which is more than
7 USD.
One of the booster packs in the Mewtwo EX tin I just bought contained a Mew EX. I've never felt so lucky.
This was posted on my birthday. :)
Nice vid as always. But I have a question. I finally tried out the PTCO game and really like it, but is there any way to expand my collection without having to pay any real money?
I mean it's fun, but I don't want to invest to much into it until I'm sure it's worth it. For now all I've got is the basic "Yellow" and "Orange" theme decks, which are alright, but not that good compared to others, and I'm sure will get boring after a few more matches.
You deserve this more than I do. :] Good luck.
