It's been a while, but it's time for me to dive into that horrible book of death, suffering, and strangeness known as the Pokédex once again.

These guys really keep the "freak" in "Gamefreak."
So True!
"Sorry, Charizard...but you're gonna die."
Anyone else love how bluntly he says it?
Ahh I don't care shush m8
Haha ik
I've always been into animals so when I was young reading about the whole draining of the bodily fluids and stuff it didn't bug me. I just thought about how the animal closest to it in real life does the same thing. Feraligator for example, I always thought it was cool how alligators shred their prey underwater so when I read that entry it just made me think my Feraligator was awesome.
I share this sentiment. Was the same way as a kid. My favorite pokemon were always the freakiest ones too. XD
Hahaha hell yea! The freaks need some love too!
\m/>.
I think my mightyena might possess enough metal by your standards then.
Yep he was yelling about feraligator and I said “oh the gator death roll nice”
JwittzDo you still love your feraligatr? now that you knw your best freind is a killing machine!?
Me:yep
I LOVE FERALIGATR! He looked cool as a Totodile, and he stood by me when I caught Lugia, attemped many times to catch Ho-oh, Moltres, Articuno, and the legendary dogs, and he stood by me when I caught Zapdos.
mlbauder2 at first i was blinded by the false prothets Emboar Charizard and Typhlosion so much to pick them but then i noticed how FRICKIN AWESEMON croconaw is
Fear ligature is still one of the best on my team and only one out of 2 to be level 100
Rainbow Prism fear ligature?
My exact reaction.
Shuppet from BW2: It feeds on the dark emotions of sadness and hatred, which make it grow steadily stronger.
o_o
clockwerk? is that you?
Basculin (Pokémon Black/White 2, X): Red- and blue-striped Basculin are very violent and always fighting. They are also remarkably tasty.
Let me rephrase that: *They are also remarkably tasty.*
NO! *pull down screen* NOOOOOO!!!!!!
***** Uhm, yeah! Slowpoke Tails you know!
"Vileplume has the world's largest petals. They are used to attract prey that are then doused with toxic spores. Once the prey are immobilized, this pokemon catches and DEVOURS them." Its from Sapphire.
Jeez, that makes me regret picking the "cooler" colors!
So *Frillish* and *Jellicent* are responsible for sinking Titanic!? o_O
redloiyu654jay Maybe a group of them moved the Iceberg.
........
Or the Boat!
redloiyu654jay Because they're crazy Sadists?(Joking, joking)
redloiyu654jay
Or maybe *Frillish* and *Jelliscent* are like the Indominous Rex from Jurassic World?
makes sense
Makes 100% sense
"Wait Beautifly doesn't have a creepy entry in the games. Why is it number.... Oh."
Number 267?
If you are thinking of 666 that is Vivillon
I think Yveltal now has one of, if not the worst, entries and history now. You'd be living life in fear of being anywhere near it when it reached the end of it's life, considering you and everything within hundreds of feet of it would have their life drained and die off. That has got to be a horrible way to go.
Gothitelle:
It can see the future from the movement of the stars. When it learns its Trainer's life span, it cries in sadness.
Houndoom: LEAFGREEN: If you are burned by the flames it shoots from its mouth, the pain will never go away.
DIAMOND: Long ago, people imagined it's eerie howls to be the call of the grim reaper.
So, Houndoom is the Grim Reaper. O.O Giratina is Satan, Arceus is God... Hypno is a child molester/hypnotist... Haunter is a deathly licker (that sounds dirty) Dusclops is a black hole, Victreebel is literally a tub of acid, Espurr is Slender Man, Phantump is a child's dead soul, Jellicent is the Pringle Man, Kabutops and Feraligatr are mass murderers.... and Proffesser Oak tells you to catch them ALL. Catch them ALL... ALL Pokemon.... 'MERICA!!!!!!!
Jelicent is the embodient of my Childhood Nightmare i had for months and months!!The titanic! JELICENT.....RAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!
Arceus: Arceus is believed to have been born from nowhere and shaped the world. Yep, that sounds a lot like God.
I never thought about the giratina thing i am so saddened I loved giratina
Well, for a balanced universe, a lot of those are needed. (Except mass killers, slenderman, deathly lickers, and child hypnotists... The Pringle Man is needed heavily!)
DaniellikesBTD5 Pokemon is far from a balanced universe.
How about Gourgeist:
Y: It enwraps its prey in its hairlike arms. It sings joyfully as it observes the suffering of its prey.
Just uhh....creepy enough for me
MY GOD
wut.. o_o wut dafuq?...
L0DBaal In X: Singing in eerie voices, they wander town streets on the night of the new moon. Anyone who hears their song is cursed.Put them together, and what have you got?
The way I see it, this makes Pokemon seem more like actual animals, and not the generic helpful battle monsters that every other battle monster franchise has.
Animals tend to use any means needed to obtain food, be it living or non, so an animal with sharp blades for arms, or the ability of storing electricity in it's face, would probably use those features to it's advantage.
Ghost Pokemon are meant to be creepy, and many of the PokeDex entries for them, are probably folk tales that elders in that world use to scare children into being obedient.
I mean, we have stuff like ogres, and phantoms, and the boogieman, so it's only logical that a universe that has living creatures that can do oddly miraculous things, would be used in similar tall tales.
So, Pokemon is for kids, in the same way that National Geographic is for kids.
Animals killing and eating each other is natural, and since Pokemon are their animals, it's not creepy, it's just nature.
True, but this game is also geared towards children from 7-12. While I get the points with the ghost pokemon and all, but, these pokedex entries are just downright disturbing fora young child. They creep me out, and I'm 15
Still pretty fucking creepy though.
EpicPixels same here and why am i watching this right before i sleep
EpicPixels Really? 15 and scared?!?! When I was 9 watching this i was not scared what-so-ever!
Mew Master
It's cool, different things scare different people.
I used to be afraid of Freddy Krueger, yet none of my friends were. And similar to that, they were afraid of things that didn't phase me.
So, it depends on the person.
Something like Slender, or Silent Hill, or Amnesia, doesn't bug me. But I know plenty of people who shiver at the thought of those games.
Pokemon though, can be kinda creepy.
You should check out stantler's entry in soulsilver, I had looked and most other gens talked about how they were hunter for their horns, but souls silvers had something more unexpectedly dark! D:
most of the ghost type podex entries are pretty weird
Jigglypufffffffffff!!!!!!!!!!!1'nqnqnnnnnnnnn
yyyaaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jigglypuff is my fav pokémon
mine too
It was the first pokémon i ever saw and i INSTANTLY fell in love with it
Swalot's Entries on Ruby: When Swalot spots prey, it spurts out a hideously toxic fluid from its pores and sprays the target. Once the prey has weakened, this Pokémon gulps it down whole with its cavernous mouth.
Eelektross's Entries on Black 2 and White 2: It latches on to prey with its sucker mouth, sinking in its fangs and shocking the prey with powerful electricity.
Stunfisk's Entries on BW episode 32: Stunfisk, the Trap Pokémon. Stunfisk hides itself in the mud and then delivers an electric jolt when its prey touches it, smiling all the while.
gwaaawhhha Dx I hate Swalotttt
@@solitary-sora9512 UNO REVERSE
Swalot go BURP
@@user-jh7zo1dr3z FRICK THE DEX **throws the pokedex out my house's 3rd (!?) floor window**
Emerald
Arbok: This Pokémon has a terrifically strong constricting power. It can even flatten steel oil drums. Once it wraps its body around its foe, escaping is impossible.
What is up with Pokemon and draining body fluids
Ahh... I see... inter-galactic tourists. Basically many animals and insects, on Earth (welcome btw), do sometimes drink blood or drink it all the time (like mosquitoes, vampire bats and spiders).
Even our human ancestors must'va done it to survive during long travels. It must have felt horrible, but it sure beats dying of thirst. :P
Sorry,my race doesn't read about the backwater Planets
ed765super Sorry, master. For wasting your time. *Cries ;(
they hunger for BLOOD
Phantump - According to old tales, these Pokémon are stumps possessed by the spirits of children who died while lost in the forest
Feraligatr's pokédex entry raises a question: why isn't he a WATER/DARK pokemon?
because greninja
TheGamerManDudeGuy ugh. fuck greninja. fuck ninjas everywhere. worthless, yellow bellied, cowards who's rather poison your food than stand toe to toe with someone. A coward (ninja) will kill you in your sleep because he's too aware and afraid of his own weaknesses and his opponents strengths. A warrior won't even make an attack until you've drawn your sword on him. Greninja=Coward. Feraligatr=Warrior
I mean it could get a stab from Crunch.
I think Bite and crunch are dark type attacks. At least they were in 2nd generation
***** there is no such thing as toe to toe when you're dealing with someone is cowardly as a ninja. The worthless piece of s*** would rather poison your food or slit your throat in your sleep than stand and fight you face to face. Typical complain of a typical ninja fanboy
But... Misty was licked by haunter and started shaking... O.o maybe this is why we no see Misty anym0rez. Delayed reaction.
Victreebell is more or less a real thing, just less ambuatory and smaller. It's called a pitcher plant, and that's how it supplements the nutrient poor soil it lives in. Nectar eating insects and the odd small bird fly down into the pitcher shaped maw, triggering a leaf to flop over the top. The birds might make it out, but the bugs are guaranteed to sit there until they die, then start decaying and the nutrients from the body are digested in a manner not unlike what animals use. The thing I've never understood is how something without a nervous system is capable of reflex actions, or knowing when the thing it has trapped has died.
You're correct - according to Bulbopedia, Carnivine is indeed based on the Venus Fly Trap. I also checked on Victreebel (which apparently has only 1 l...did generation 1 have a 10 character limit for names?) and it is indeed supposed to be a pitcher plant.
Regardless of the type, though, I think we can agree on the fact that carnivorous plants are a tad creepy. Plants aren't supposed to eat things...
rashkavar Plants are living breathing things just as much as we are, I find it rather fascinating how several plant orders co-evolved independently to develop carnivory.
privatepessleneck Living? yes. Breathing? yes. Having a nervous system? no. In animal life, reflex actions are based entirely on sensory input. A nerve picks up an input, sends it up the line, and at some point a signal is sent back saying what the appropriate response is. Reflex actions happen in the spine, making them faster - hence jerking your foot away from a rusty nail happens as you realize "that hurts" and not after when it's already stabbing important parts of the foot structure. Plants don't have nerves, so they can't do that.
I Googled the venus flytrap to understand the mechanic involved and it seems like it's a biomechanical system - essentially the biological equivalent of those classic spring loaded mousetraps. There are several triggering "hairs" (for lack of a better word, it's not precisely hair in the mammalian sense) within the structure that, when disturbed, trigger the closure. The details of how movement is fundamentally achieved are, apparently, not fully understood, but it's pretty much directly analogous to a mechanical spring as far as function is concerned. (It makes me wonder if anyone's ever tried triggering one of these things in an MRI scanner of some kind - technically, we have the imaging technology necessary to record exactly what happens internally, but it's bloody expensive to do it)
rashkavar yeah, plants don't have a nervous system to have reflexes, but they do have means to "move". For example, plants always want to be in sunlight to get energy, so if a plants germinated from a wall, and was growing a bit to the side, the side of the plant facing the sun would produce auxins, that in time, would make the plant turn to be more or less upright.
rashkavar It's actually based on a pitcher plant, which is found in wetlands and traps flies to then melt them for consumption.
Me: ARCEUS, WHY DID YOU CREATE ALL OF THESE ABOMINATIONS?!?!?!
Arceus: Don't you dare question my doings. *makes the world explode*
goddamit never quest the almighty areceas
+TriforceBlader101 Just one question I've always had;If Arceus is kind of God, and Mew is the ancestor of all Pokemon, then either Arceus descended from Mew or Arceus created Mew. But if Arceus was born of Mew, and something can't come from something that doesn't have it (i.e. blood from turnip, almighty powers from something non-omnipotent) then that means that Mew is as, if not more than, almighty as Arceus. *MIND BLOWN*.
Arceas created mew
Amy Parry Are you sure?
Alpha Charlie Echo Plays! its what i think personally ._. it makes the most sense to me arceas created the rest of the legendaries and decided to create some inhabitants of the world starting with a bunch of mews which later evolved int Dino's and then into modern man/pokemon
Not creepy but a little odd, the diamond and pearl entry for Poliwrath says "With it's extremely tough muscles, it can keep swimming in the Pacific Ocean without tiring."
Found an even creepier Lampent pokedex entry:
Lampent (Black 2) The spirits it absorbs fuel its baleful fire. It hangs around hospitals waiting for people to pass on.
That is just disturbing!
Duskull Sapphire
Duskull wanders lost among the deep darkness of midnight. There is an oft-told admonishment given to misbehaving children that this Pokémon will spirit away bad children who earn scoldings from their mothers.
Found this on a pokemon pokedex forum. Just.too.creepy.
(In Camp Pikachu, it actually fits the pokedex description because Dusksull is wandering around a dark wood and terrifies a baby pokemon/pichu. I find a baby pokemon the equivalent to a child so I am terrified.)
You've become so funny!! First, you were like kinda shy. But now you're hilarious!
Feraligator may be a killer but I will always love my little Todi
When I was a kid, I was watching an episode where ash was battling some trainer's duskclops, and when the pokedex said pokemon get Sucked up and never return I started to freak out and I thought Ash and Pikachu were gonna be absorbed, and I was shocked that no one in the show seemed to think their pokemon getting pulled into a lack hole was a problem. I dont think I finished the episode, I got too upset.
'Well, my Feraligatr ' s move set is Aqua Jet, Ice Punch, Earthquake and Hone Claws so I think I'm safe.
Part 4, please!
Shedinja always freaked me out. The hole in it's back sucks your soul out. It's a floating dead skin with a soul sucking hole in it's back.
This is my fav and I really want it to be seen
Everyone Who's heard about Phantump (This is the Y pokedex entry)
"According to old tales, these Pokémon are stumps possessed by the spirits of children who died while lost in the forest."
Then to make it worse imagine if that child lost it's doll
(Banette by Pokedex X)
"A doll that became a Pokémon over its grudge from being junked. It seeks the child that disowned it."
Banette won't find the child for it is Phantump
(Also another cool one to check out Gourgeist-"It enwraps its prey in its hairlike arms. It sings joyfully as it observes the suffering of its prey."; I love to watch my food suffer!!)
Pokemon Y
Dragalge: Tales are told of ships that wander into seas where Dragalge live, never to return.
Dude, what is truly creepy about the Delibird, is the pokedex definition that says that he feeds his starving children everyday. So it makes us think, "What if I catch him?" Well, his children will die of hunger. Very sad indeed.
That pokedex entry for feraligatr just shows how much more I love him :)
Jellicent is THE KRAKEN???
yep
Jason (the killer): I want that gator!!
"Catches it"
Becomes ultimate killer!!
Run for ur fudging life if u see him
Me:Feraligatr,use Crunch on Jason.
And then use Surf. (Seconds later)Not so ultimate NOW,eh?
Pokemon Y:
Malamar: It lures prey close with hypnotic motions, then wraps its tentacles around it before finishing it off with digestive fluids.
@that entire segment about Feraligatr:
Yes. I can still love my Feraligatr. Totodile was my very first Pokemon.
Yveltal Pokemon y
When its life comes to an end, it absorbs the life energy of every living thing and turns into a cocoon once more.
Everything will be destroyed. once you killed him.
Now this is a reason to keep LAZORGATR!
This is actually sending chills down me spine.
I never thought my Feraligatr would be anymore awesome, and most of the these entries fit the type of the Pokemon. It's not going to be unicorns and rainbows with Ghost type Pokemon, so it makes more sense that the Ghost type have more dark entries.
Gyarados has the same name in Japanese as in English. ギャラドス
His name is a combination of two Japanese words.
The first, Mass murder.
The second, The sound of ripping flesh.
Mt.Everest was first explored by Sir Edmund Hillary, in the pokedex it mentioned a famous explorer. Edmund Hillary is really famous in New Zealand o.o does that mean this explorer could be Sir Edmund Hillary???
Pokemon Y
Yveltal: When its life comes to an end, it absorbs the life energy of every living thing and turns into a cocoon once more.
My first pokemon was a totodile, and I loved it like my own life. I hope you're happy, jwittz
Why are humans trainers in the pokemon world? It would seem that humanity would be an endangered species, with so many child-killing ghost on the loose. Now I am scared to go to bed, thanks dude.
I still love you Feraligator, even if you are a ....a, brutal killer. Thanks JWittz, for making my favorite starter, sound like a murder. THANKS A LOT! now I'm just going to cry in a corner with my totodile plushie. :,(
Me too, me too...
R.I.P Feraligatr best starter
"Do you still love your Feraligatr now that you know he's done? Can you live with that guilt, with the knowledge your best frined is a killing machine? Can you still look into those eyes without seeing the twisted grimace of a mass murderer? CAN YO- Kabutops..."
That is my favorite part of any "Weird/Creepy Pokedex Entries" video.
Re: Kabutops.
And that explains why a rock/water learns the 'grass' moves Drain and Mega Drain
Meowstic (Pokemon X)- When in danger, it raises its ears and releases enough psychic power to grind a 10-ton truck to dust.
Wouldn't you die by battling this Pokemon due to you are putting it in danger.
Not when you have an Aegislash to Shield you like a King! :D
yes, I'll always love my gater
I thought having pokemon in real life would be really cool.
Then i watched these 3 videos.
And the fact that you can make 3 videos about this is just... AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! (Don't take my children hypno)
"Umbreon has a sleek black body with four slender legs, and it has crimson eyes. It has long pointed ears and a bushy tail, each with a yellow band around them. Its forehead and legs have yellow rings on them. Its yellow markings glow at night and strike fear into anyone nearby.
It hides in the darkness while waiting for its opponents, and its yellow rings glow when it leaps to attack. It is also capable of spraying a poisonous sweat whenever it gets agitated.''
Hell yes I still love my Feraligatr
Still love my Feraligatr :D
The gen.6 entry for basculin is Red- and blue-striped basculin are very violent and always flying. They are also remarkably tasty.
Me: WHAT?! Did professor oak have some before he made this entry?
3:04
I had a Feraligator...My best friend D:
My favorite pokemon will always be piplup. My first time I played pokemon I played pearl and my cousin just let e play for a little bit and I picked piplup and named him Cutie (I waz noob) and then I played platinum (currently my only pokemon game) and picked piplup, now I have a prinplup. but I love these videos, just hope that I can sleep tonight after bot flies (don't google it, even though you probably will) and these pokemon.
what's wrong with bot flies, where i'm from they're not even special lawl
Piplup is the best starter. :D
ewww bot flies O-O
they're sooooo disgusting!
Blazefur Yeah and now that people replied, I was reminded of them
I hope my mind won't get on me, well, i will try not to google it Q_Q
I still love you LockJaw
can you still look into those eyes of the mass murder?!, CAN YOU!!!!!!! xD i love that part
I found a couple. One almost doesn't seem so bad, then there's it's evolution
Paras: Mushrooms named tochukaso grow on its back. They grow along with the host PARAS. (Diamond, Pearl, and Platinum)
Parasect: It is controlled by a mushroom grown larger than the bug body. It is said to prefer damp places. (Pearl)
I know that's what it always seemed to me to be, and it's mentioned as a possibility by Tamashii...I think it's her that does that particular Pokemon Did you know fact. Anyway, now it's confirmed and even more creepy in my opinion because of it.
shit man butterflies are BADASS
It's funny how every time Jesse sends out victrebell he gets swallowed
it james :P
lol sorry
Nate Daley not victreebell its carnivine.
Its carnivine in the recent episodes but originally it was victreebell
Outlawe so james was originally a fly. Because victreebell is a venus fly trap!
as a matter of fact, i can live with the guilt of Feraligatr's behavior.
you just made my day!
Oh no. Pokemon kill each other. Just like animals does in the real World. And they kill people. Just like animals does in the real World. Don't make pokemon to be like animals. Animals are scary. Granted, some of these ghosts, psichic types and some other entries are pretty crazy. Like a freaking Jellifishes that sink entire ships and kill all the crew. And a brain dead zombie insect crab thing pocessed by a mushroom. Yeah that's a little creepy.
Don't forget tentacruel knocked down 2 towers which was aired a week before 9/11 which got the episode banned
Allan Laerz Crocodiles do tear up the victims under water
SotraEngine4 yes, that's excactly what i was saying. Animals are scary.
Lawl, this is why I love my Feraligatr!^^ I love Aligators in real life, why shouldnt I love them in the Pokemon world???^^
Anyways,Game Freak has a serious psychosis with prey's fluids sucking! I mean, come on! There is at least 1 Pokemon at every generation that sucks its prey's body fluids!~
*****
True thing:)
DUSCLOPS IS MY FAVORITE POKEMON OF ALL TIME... And IM psyched that he's on this list!
Okay, I was just playing Pokémon Gold, and I caught a Tentacool, just because. The Pokédex said, that "dehydrated remains" of Tentacool could be found during low tides. I know it's nothing compared to some of what we saw, but I still find that the idea of dead Pokémon being washed up on the shore is such an odd thing to say.
I LOVE FERALIGATR!
yes i still love feraligatr
LOL! that peaceful pokedex entry then "It has an aggressive nature. It stabs prey with its long, narrow mouth to drain the prey's body fluid" XD
Here are some more wird and creepy pokedex enteries I found on some of my pokemon cards:
Vibrava: It generates ultrasonic waves by violenty flapping it's wings. After making it's prey faint, it melts the prey with acid.
Tentacool: Drifts in shallow seas. Anglers who hook them by accident are often punished by their stingers.
Diggersby: As powerful as an excavator, it's ears can reduce dence bedrock to rubble. When it's finnished digging, it lounges lazily.
If you ever make another wird and creepy pokedex videos, maybe you can use these!
P.S Love your videos! (Oh, and if you've already used any of these, I didn't know because I don't really pay any attention to the names. Soz)
What is it with Gamefreak and body fluids? XD
How would Jesse be alive? He went into his victreebell like 100 times!!!!
Jesse Is A Girl.. James Is The Guy With Victreebel.
James
James bro.
Pokemon Y
Phantump: According to old tales, these Pokémon are stumps possessed by the spirits of children who died while lost in the forest
Gengar- To steal the life of it's target, it slips into the prey's shadow and silently waits for an opportunity. That was from Pokémon Silver, good luck falling asleep at night.
Pringle pokemon XD
misty is also licked by a haunter, soooooo.....................
I still love my Feraligtr. After all, I named him Ripper. >:)
Golbat:This pokemon sinks its fangs into the prey and sucks an almost fatal amount of blood.
NO it can't be... fraligater won't do that
Pinsir is deadly already. And they give him a Mega Evolution to make him more deadly. Pokémon. WHY???? Like if you agree...
I don't know if you're doing any more of these, but here's one: Omastar (From Gold) Apparently, it cracked Shellder's shell with its sharp fangs and sucked out the insides.
Don't tell this to anyone, but Parasect is the secret behind China' advancement in natural herbal medicine, or so the pokedex says in FireRed - "It scatters toxic spores from the mushroom cap. In China, the spores are used as herbal medicine." That games pokedex is a clusterf**k of fourthwall breakdown xD!
Pinsir was *GEN 1?!*
Who doesn't know that?
MsOsabear Me...I started with Gen. 3, okay?
Rachel Bejerano Pinsir being a Gen 1 pokemon is fairly obvious if you're a fan of the game, no matter what gen you started with
MsOsabear Sorry, but I tend to forget Pinsir exists let alone that it's a gen one pokemon. I honestly thought it was gen two.
dude even I know pinsir is from gen 1 what are you 5?
My feraligator is still fine. And NO ONE SAYS ITS CREEPY!!! :-(
The fraligator thing just sounds badass and makes me like it even more then I did as a child (I didn't have the original gold and silver but I was about 11 or 12 when I got soul silver (I count pre teens as kids)
4 of some weird Pokemon entries.
1. Sableye (Ruby): Sableye lead quiet lives deep inside caverns. They are feared, however, because these Pokémon are thought to steal the spirits of people when their eyes burn with a sinister glow in the darkness.
2. Swalot (Sapphire): Swalot has no teeth, so what it eats, it swallows whole, no matter what. Its cavernous mouth yawns widely. An automobile tire could easily fit inside this Pokémon's mouth.
3. Misdreavus (Silver): It loves to bite and yank people's hair from behind without warning, just to see their shocked reactions.
(Ruby): Misdreavus frightens people with a creepy, sobbing cry. The Pokémon apparently uses its red spheres to absorb the fearful feelings of foes and turn them into nutrition.
4. Pichu (Silver): Despite its small size, it can zap even adult humans. However, if it does so, it also surprises itself.
as a biology student these entries just remind why i love this subject, theres a lot of diversity out there and Pokemon actually helps learn many facts about real live creatures
Now, I'm aware that you had Lampant in the last one of these, but I just wanted to mention the Black and White 2 Pokedex entry which takes it a bit further;
Lampant, the Lamp Pokemon. The spirits it absorbs fuel it's baleful fire. It hangs around HOSPITALS waiting for people to pass on.
I will mention that I caught my first found this, with a Lampant in my party, while IN A HOSPITAL. I found this not only creepy and weird, but just a little bit cruel. Who writes this kinda stuff?
Pokemon Y
Gourgiest: It enwraps its prey in its hairlike arms. It sings joyfully as it observes the suffering of its prey.
Nah, this only makes my childhood better.
I can never unsee that Pokemon without the Pringles mascot now
I still like feraligator, because I CAN LET IT USE BITE AND TAKE DOWN HYPNO'S!
"Victreebell: Lures prey with the sweet aroma of honey. Swallowed whole, the prey is melted in a day, bones and all."
.... I'm glad James got rid of his Victreebell now.
hey JWittz just had a question. do you know if there are any animales that exsist in pokemon? I know pokemon are simular to animales but are there any bugs or regular birds, or even tuna and lobsters
Haunter is actually my favorite Pokemon. So cute. As it slowly eats yoir soul and watches your toument happily.
