That looks similar to my sony head unit that I put in my 07 trailblazer . It required the power source to be connected directly to the battery . I had to drill a hole in the firewall . 400 watt peak head unit . 100w x 4 channels . replaced all speakers with JVC 5 1/2" speakers. rated @ 300 watt peak per speaker .. turned all the way and playing nemesis . munchies for your bass . dims the head light when it hits . no amp . 😎 🤘 ❤ 😎
hey bro! you should have bought a interface with steering control. the one i bought its a ready to install. it has the harness, the interface and the steering control. i bought mine online its the SCOSCHE LPGM25 and its compatible with 2003 - 2006 trailblazers. you should try it. you don't have to cut wires or run the accesory wire to an alternate wire. its just plug and play. i notice on your video that your steering wheel does not have controls. but i still recommend it just for plug and play. installing a interface would make it look like you never actually removed. it will be just like your truck came directly out of the factory but with a aftermarket stereo.
I happen to have just bought this truck and absolutely intend on getting the upgraded steering wheal and an Android Auto touch screen. Thank you for your comment! \m/,
brotha i was the same lol when i had alr changed my stereo to aftermarket one nd i put it toghether bought tweeter was wiring to the new stereo nd it didnt turn on then i checked the fuse box under the back driver seat and found out my fuse has popped for the radio changed it works great now but upgraded to double din now but trying to learn to wire amplit but yea js incase sum1 in same shoes
Did u ever run into a problem where ur rear speakers not workin i have an 05 wit bose system rear speakers dont work idk wats the issue any info will help
I did not have to program the one I installed. I have heard something similar if I had replace my factory stereo with an identical unit. In that scenario, you will need to reprogram the replacement to work in your truck. I'm not a fan of the whole "data packet to turn on the radio" thing. I just want power ⚡
You bought the wrong harness for it is the problem, your supposed to get the wiring interface which is the harness that comes with the little black box for 40-50 bucks... It's like that on most any gm 04 and up
How has it held up???? Any electrical issues so far??? I plan on doing this to my tbss just don’t wanna have electrical probs in the future…. Also what harness did you buy pass the link pls! 👍🏼
🙄 who cutting random wires…. No. not even the correct wire harness. It comes with two. 😒😒 and that’s what I’m lookin for and no one posting the correct shiiit
I have a few installs in Tblazers and Bravada. Never had an issue when I used the proper harness with the interface
FUCKING THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! --- DEALING WITH THIS RIGHT NOW AND A PICTURE SAYS A THOUSAND WORDS,

You have to buy the interface and connector kit. Added cost but makes wiring a lot easier. And it'll keep the warning chimes and other warning lights.
I know I'm late but is there one that you could recommend?
Yea so where’s the link or stfu

why isnt there a wire going to the old radio that you could connect the new radio accessories to?
Did u use 16g wire or 18g wire to tap into the accessory port bro ?
Did you have to reprogram your stereo I’ve seen other videos about that when you put another stereo in it they will turn on but no radio or cd

I have a 05 trailblazer to and now I'm putting a after market radio in but I wanna make your if I do this I'm not gonna mess up anything
I will say that my I notice that my OBDII port stopped working after this but I don't think it is related.
Does it have a Bose system in it?
Does not have Bose sound system
Mine has the Bose system. I bought the interface but I’m scared I’m gonna mess something up with it
