I started making it at home and added scrambled eggs. iT'S SO GOOD. I haven't had it in awhile, so this definitely inspired me to go back to it. And I LOVE Me some festive oatmeal too lol. Doc'tin it up is the key ;-).

One of my favorite meals when I was in the Air Force was the mushroom gravy over biscuits. I wasn’t plant-based then so I am looking forward to trying this with toast. There is a vegan bakery near me and they make the best sour dough bread. I will definitely let you know how this was when I make it. ❤

My mom used to make hot dog gravy that she'd eat over toast. I refused to eat it, lol. I think it's a southern thing because I live in Colorado now and the only people I know that have heard of it are from the south. My friend from Georgia calls it Weenie Gravy. Yuck! Great idea to use the grits with veggies!!

Yessss! I shared some over on TikTok - bang bang cafe (the vegan breakfast tacos are my fav. Add the tempeh bacon), Ian’s pizza, old salt bagel (get the veggie bagel sandwich), communion (the fritters are delish), plum bistro, and life on mars are a few! Some of these are 100% plant based restaurants while others just have plant based options.
Your sausage gravy looks so delicious I’m not really a fan of biscuits unless I’m making it from scratch that bread would probably be my preferred choice it just looks like something I would just buy just because

Can you share what dairy free yogurt you use and what bread . That bread looked amazing. I know if found quality vegan butter, yogurt it would easier , right now I just go without but as a woman I really need calcium for bone density. Thats what I was thinking - grind the dry quinoa up so that it resembles grits. I'll definitely record and share when I do it
