When they take your blood pressure sometimes the cuff is too small which will cause the blood pressure reading to come out high. Ask if they have a large cuff if you hear the Velcro’s pealing apart when the machine is pumping the cuff up. I often get a lower reading if they retake my blood pressure using a large cuff when taking my blood pressure. Hang in there I was diagnosed with a TIA a short while after I turned 50. You will make it. Thai wives are excellent care givers. I have one that has been taking care of me for 45years. God Bless you guys.

For others who don't want to do the calculation, 3M Baht is $90,716 and 60K Baht is $1814 at the current rate of exchange.
If anyone is interested in coming to Thailand, they only use Thai Baht. So getting used to the conversion would be beneficial.

Sending you much love and light and positive healing thoughts. I had some rather extensive sinus surgery in the early summer of last year. Corrected some abnormalities and extra growth that started when I was a child. Anyhow, once you get the stints out, as I imagine you will have in your sinuses after the surgery, you will be amazed at how much better you will breath and feel!! Will be surprised if we see much of you for several days! 🙏🏼🙏🏼

You might want to keep an eye on yoyr blood pressure speedy recovery

Good Luck! Had that done years ago. As someone else already said its painful and bloody for a couple weeks but once its healed it is well worth it! In a few weeks you will be glad you had it done!

hope everything went well i have had sinus/nose surgery about 6 years ago was in hospital for 3 days and of work for 2 weeks but it was worth it sleep a lot better and now

Chuck, that blood pressure is high because you are nervous. I have the same problem. So don't worry about it. When that happens to me and I go back home from the hospital, my bp is beyond normal. We call this white coat hypertension because of hospital anxiety and seeing the white coats and the sanitization of the hospital setting.

Good luck Chuck. I have similar issues. Went through the surgery in 1988 for 85-90% & 100% blockage by afternoon most days as allergies closed them. Dr. bragged to be Eye, Ear, Nose specialist of the country music stars (I was living in Nashville). After a month of recovery, I could breath no better. I complained to doctor during the follow-up that I felt no improvement. He laid me on a table in his office and began using lazer to cut nasal filters without any anistetic. Between pain and holding back vomit from smell of my flesh burning, tears rolled down from my checks for the 10-15 minutes. Well, still little to no improvement from procedure. Hope it is more beneficial for you.

Most likely you will do just fine. Don't get stressed out. I had to have back surgery about 5 years ago. No choice !!! I almost couldn't walk. Now I am OK. Just do it AND go home !!!!!
