treadmill with a screen? I once rode a stationary bike with a built in tank game in a hotel in Chicago. Makes you use HIIT to get a workout because after firing your tank you have to pedal fast to move your tank out of the line of fire from your opponent.
What a wonderful rumble that GTR puts out. There are often parades of Lamborghinis, Ferraris, and Porshes that drive the Bangkok-Pattana-Rayong Route on the weekends. The raspy sound of those cars don't compare to the GTR. I bet the GTR can hold its own with Italians and Germans as well.

Well, it's no longer true that Thailand has no COVID-19 in months. A lady in Koh Samui (I think) tested positive after being out and about several days after passing quarantine. Now they are awaiting results for about 75 test of people she may have been in contact.

Hi Chuck, have been following your channel for some time and enjoying the regular updates and thoughts. Here is a quick intro from us. Yisa (from Udon Thani) and I are currently in the UK. We married in Udon back in 2010 and Yisa now has British citizenship. We have an 11 Rai rice farm about 20 kilometers from Udon which we are having put back on its feet after years of neglect. The family all live within a few minutes walk from the parents house which is located within the Udon ring road close to the entrance of the Wing 23 air force base. Whenever we visit, we stay at the Centara hotel close to the centre of the town. Sooner or later we will be making the transition to Thailand and are making some preliminary plans. Would love to catch up with you both when we make our next visit to discuss and listen to any thoughts you have on our plans. The basic idea would be to initially rent out our house here in the UK and use the funds to underpin our lifestyle there so we don't have to raid the savings / pension funds at this stage. We would initially rent there before deciding whether to build at the farm or purchase elsewhere in Udon. Over time we can then decide whether to maintain the base here in the UK or sell up for good and transfer all the assets to Udon. Best, Nick & Yisa ;-)

My suggestion when you come is just to stay somewhere for a week at a time and look around to find a place that suits you. But to answer your question I don't have any particular place I could recommend for long-term

Ali Veli if you are hanging out with people that make $10-20 a day yes as you should in my opinion if you want something that they would not normally have/do but I have Thai friends that never let me pay for dinner, I buy one of them a bottle of black label Johnnie Walker because they always take me to a very nice restaurant and refuse my money.
