We made our way to Note’s hometown in Isan to meet a special someone that’s been waiting for us there. We also visited Note’s childhood home, ate some of the most delicious Isan food and then made our way to the famous temple in Khon Kaen to ask for blessings and luck for the start of our Isan road trip.

Good evening from India. We are so glad when we saw both you of got lottery. Most probably Lord Buddha blessed you when you visited a holy temple where Buddha relics are preserving in Khon kean. I never been yet in Khon kean. But I heard that lots of story about Khon kean. 2014 during my tour in Thailand I visited only Nakhon Ratchasima in Easn. I love Easn spicy food.
Looking forward to meet with you in Thailand that way we can make a trip with you.

Wonderful. I visited October 2022 with my Thai friend from there. I lived in Bangkok at the time and it was great to escape the touristy places of Thailand. Love the food!
This episode made me laugh out loud! First of all, welcome back the new and improved and hopefully well behaved Rocket! Yeah! All that camping gear has a place. Rocket looks like new. Second what a wonderful trip down memory lane. Thanks so much for sharing that. I understand. That is exactly how I felt when I return to my own child hood home some years ago.The simplest things that came back to me. I am intrigued by Isan and have driven through sections of it but spent little time there. I will need to correct that. I did meet some people (very good looking people) from Khon Kaen. Watching your face Flora when you ate that plant was so funny. Note is due for a big punch after that! And then to see you win 4000 Bhat on the lottery was amazing. I may just go to the local store and count some clouds and get a ticket. I can think of no one else I would ever be happier for then to see you two win the biggest lottery prize ever. Such good souls as you deserve every blessing.

We have a restaurant in Dubai called Cafe Isan, serving really good Thai food, not sure if they serve authentic Isan dishes. Anyways, just letting you know that your content is amazing, and whenever I watch them I feel good. Nothing like the other travel vlogs out there, that's for sure.

Wow the Rocket 🚀 is now far more suitable for road travel. Great you got the vehicle reconfigured by Note’s Dad. We just got back from the Red Lotus Lake (Udon) and the Udon walking street market. Go if you’re going that direction

We was living on the same hotel in hua hin and saw your car in the parking and got so happy that i might to be able to meet you. I was chilling at the bar next to the parking but you never showed up :( The next day the car was gone.

Last week we were told by Man Utd fans it’s a new dawn.. Didn’t take long for it to end.
I had the pleasure to be in Khon Kaen almost two years ago during the kingdom being in lockdown during early omni-cron. Beautiful, authentic, quite, city. Also has good vietnamese food (albeit, thai versions lol) nonetheless still good. My hotel was 10$ a night 😂 and best part. I didn't see any foreigners. Much love from calgary, Canada 🇨🇦
It's a beautiful city with lots of open space... we see people out exercising around the lake every night. How lovely 😊
