I know I'm going to sound like a prude but the engine in the boss 302 is actually called Roadrunner
technically the boss 302's engine is not a coyote. It's a roadrunner.

Does anyone else not like those wheels? Nor do I like the red roof, or the mirrors. Honestly flip the black and red colors/accents and I'm good but that red accent game is weak

I'm not big on the color scheme either but yeah, it means something so therefore i'm fine with it.
I never liked color accenting at all unless it's very tastefully done. This particular example looks like a ricer got ahold of it and didn't have money for mods so he just spray painted a bunch of random stuff. That's just my opinion! Ugly!

Great video...The Boss motor is actually called the "Roadrunner" and not "Coyote". Aside from the forged internals it also had different cams, ported and polished heads, an engine oil cooler, etc. Also don't forget it has a pit speed controller with the trackkey tune. Thanks for the great video.

crazy trick exhaust, gotta love it ^^ a friend has one of these, and he's "THAT GUY" that buys the newest, best Mustang every damn time there's a major change...he's swearing that this car, THIS ONE! is the best Mustang that's ever been made oO btw..he also owns a Super Snake. he swears it's the best, not just "eh, it's a little better"..no, he says it's the best for many reasons, not just one, the main reason being, (I am paraphrasing here,maybe he'll log on and correct me ) "the perfect horsepower, and ability for the chassis." - P.S.- I have a feeling he will be selling his GT500( for some reason, he complains a lot about this car), and buying a new GT350..I can't wait to drive it, woohoo, lol. (every bit of what I just typed was a lie)

Funny you mention the E92 because by motortrend comparison the 2011 Mustang GT was barely slower at a track. So goes to show you that even the GT was pretty capable. You might want to watch that review by Motortrend.
Mustangs like the GT500 are pretty GOOD at turning, it won against a 2012 Camaro zl1 on the Motortrend track.

I'm looking pretty seriously at a 2017 GT Premium in Ruby Red with the performance pack and a buttload of other options. However, I'm going to wait and check out the 2017 Camaro ZL1 first.

So I heard you say normal mustang gts don't handle well at all, but somehow the Boss 302 is some car sent from God because it can beat a E92 M3 around a track... The E92 M3 beat the mustang gt around laguna seca by eight tenths of a second. The Boss didn't have to improve by much to meet its task. Trying to see what so special about this car...
We had a Laguna Seca at the dealership I work at, and it had a 4 point harness and roll cage... I thought that was stock.. i guess not.

I like the car I just can't get over the interior. The plastic, dash, door panels and the steering wheel. Ugh!
Right but it would cost significantly more if Ford made the interior nicer. Most people buying the car would rather have Ford keep the price lower and just use cheaper interior materials. It's a muscle car not a luxury car

robert335ijb4 right but the special edition for a Mustang is going to be special edition in terms of performance. Significantly better performance for not that much more money. In the eyes of Ford, most mustang buyers would rather spend more on speed/handling than interior. And the Boss 302 can arguably be considered a track-oriented car, especially with the Laguna Seca package that deletes the rear seats
