The shelby is incredible but the Boss is the real gem. It's the last of dying breed. The mach 1, bullitt, ect are all ok but not worth hanging on to. A boss is like a piece of art. I really hope people don't wake up to that fact before i can afford a 2012 and 2013 lol

So in a track car you want the least amount of stuff in the car. If you want something more usable get the GT as it literally means Grand Tourer and has all the creature comforts you could want in a muscle car.

That car is a press car. When the guy opens the hood it's production number is not there, I think I saw MP001. It's not a production Boss 302. I have one and it's #1493 and there is no rust on the exhaust. Instead of MP001 we should have see, like mine for exemple : '' vehicle number 1493. so we don't know what kind of cheap steel they use for the exhaust instead of stainless steel.

This guy obviously studied all the 2012 Boss specs pretty hard but doesn't know jack shit about the heritage. It was never about Ford being down on motor size to GM. In fact Ford usually had larger motors before GM. The Boss was about Trans Am homologation after the GT350 was shut down. Both similar to the Z/28, Challenger T/A, and AAR Cuda. The SCCA called for a 5.0L displacement limit so all ran 5 Liter motors (although the Mopars got 340s on the street cause they realized that handicap didn't carry over and people wouldn't mind a bigger motor anyway. The same year Chevy followed suit putting a 350 in their street Z/28 for 70)
Why CNET not drive this Boss on the track ? Why a parking lot with pot holes and muddy water? Good details on the specs but not fully driven to its potential.

well if the specs are BOSS/E36 M3 444hp/321hp 750nm/350nm 0-100kmh 4sec/5,2sec tops at 250kmh and i have proven that mine is not restricted at +280kmh(kmh meter ends at 280kmh) (that i will not say is true if the cops ask =D) then i could say that eventhou it might beat at start it will end at 250kmh =) and to post a video on YT on speeding... i would but dont wanna go to jail to prove it and there is no Mustang BOSS 302:s in Finland sry =)

I called him out, we went to the highway with medium traffic, no chance to drag, so we did a high speed, lane switching touge battle. I must say, I thought I was king of switching lanes, till he gave me the biggest spanking ever. Dude was pulling moves i only dream about, from fastlane to right-shoulder at 140mph, while I struggled to keep up. DAMN. I gotta get one soon.

Not versed on your fuel ratings, huh? The United States uses AKI(anti-knock index) measuring system. Most of the rest of the world uses RON(research octane number). U.S. 91 AKI octane is equivalent to 95 RON octane. The Boss 302 5.0L Coyote engine has an 11.0:1 compression ratio, so it requires fuel with as much octane as permissible here stateside.
It comes with limited slip at no cost, this is a clutch pack style, wears out quickly and can't handle a ton of power, relatively speaking. The upgrade you pay for is to a Torsen limited slip which is the best limited slip out there by far.

There is no HP gain from using the red key. It simply changes throttle response, lopey idle, engine breaking, and some other things.

Actually he doesn't. That is the ONLY wheels available on the Boss 302, unless you go with the Laguna Seca edition. There was NO optional wheels.
