I am really enjoying the brake down of the golf swing on this channel..I find it to be very helpful towards what I would like to achieve..Very well done Sir..
This absolutely fantastic golf instructioner is the best in the business, Mr Hanson has helped me with my golf swing 100%,leave the rest behind and just concentrate on his golf instruction and you to will improve 100% and one of the best things it's free, way to go Graig
As usual another great video. I just figured out how to do this yesterday at the range after a bad round of golf. This increased my accuracy and my distance. It was a complete eye opening range session. I did want to leave and stayed at range for 2 hours after round. My round starts it 4 hrs and I am heading to range early to work on this move. Cheers!!
Hello twisted. Be careful about spending hours on the range beating buckets of balls rapid fire. It can really bring unnecessary wear and tear on the body, especially if you have preexisting conditions. I recommend playing more golf, in effect practice rounds. Cheers!
Ive recently started to get my elbow more tucked to my side and ive been striking it better. Then i see this video to help confirm im on the right path. Thanks for the video.
V1 but it’s a yearly subscription that costs over 1000 dollars… we have a new app called SwingSlapp coming soon where you can draw lines with angles on your phone.
Thanks for replies Craig. Your latest on lowering right eye should help hundreds of players particularly those that come up and can't maintain their spine angleor can't get open on impact.. Ray
I purchased his advanced instruction... No lie i was a 17 handicap and dropped down to a 13.4 in two months . I will say I was close to a breakthrough and I did spend a lot of time playing and hitting the range, but this instruction brought me to a new place. fantastic.
So the right arm/bicep reattaches to the side of the body or does it get in front of chest? pulling left elbow towards the left side of my body isnt working out too well.
Hey Craig, great stuff as usually. Craig being self taught later in life I have nothing ingrained on how a golf swings works, that being said, your work on the proper shoulder plane has helped me more coming from the inside than any drill out there, and what I see and hear at least for myself and it's pretty ridiculous to even say this but the biggest problem still is my brain see that golf ball and just wants to go after it, that's when I'm way over the top slicing, just horrible contact, etc, etc, etc, when I take a few practice swings without a ball at setup my swing isn't half bad, I know it sounds so brainless but it's true, that golf ball just gets my attention, I still have trouble creating a thought to swing thru and let the ball get in the way, idk sometimes I just don't trust my mechanic to get me to the ball. ok that's all I had to rat myself out so I can get better. Thanks Craig I haven't purchased the hanger yet , but its definitely gonna be my next purchase, I get lazy filming my swing, play back, pausing the whole deal gets frustrating sometimes , I need physical contact with a swing aid for it to sink in. Be safe , ty .
Hi great channel. I would say the “move” is not the long right arm, but the correct muscle activation of the right shoulder scapular. The arms follow naturally and are the effect not the cause. That is why when you watch golfers those that deliver the right shoulder down and under get better strike, power, reduce dispersion than those that do not. It should feel when done correctly that there is feel of zero right arm and hand effort muscle activation on the initial move down. Once you have mastered this move then only good things as your video Points out happen as a result. My comment is activate the right shoulder and scapular to get your right arm complex in to the slotted position. Those that do it automatically have a “gift” to do it eg pros, while the majority have to program themselves to do it.
Have to disagree. Different golfers have different feels. If it is the shoulder for you that is great. But for me it is clearly letting the arms fall with my back to the target and a long right arm feel with speed for me!!
Interesting to see the contrasting positions of the right elbow between Louis Oosthuizen and Adam Scott you show. Based on what it sounded like: you'd say Adam Scott's rear shoulder stays up and back while the hands separate away, but Oosthuizen's shoulder moves more with his hands coming down? That fits with what I see of Ernie Els and Nick Faldo in their primes. In Ernie's How to Build a Classic Swing and Faldo's Golf the Winning Formula they both say their downswing thoughts are to keep their back and right shoulders turned away from the target, lower the right arm to the right side, separate the left shoulder from the chin, and seperate the hands from the shoulder/ head. Was the other golfer you showed beside Adam Scott getting the right elbow low Marcel Siem?
It’s the actually physically very difficult to bring the right elbow in that far underneath the right. Not everyone can do that. It doesn’t have anything to do with the rear shoulder staying up. The other pro is one of the tour guys i teach. Thanks for sharing 👍👍
Hi Craig; I'm hoping you'll clarify something in this video. You refer to "pulling the arms down" numerous times. Is there an actual physical pull or are you just letting them fall from gravity? Thanks much.

Craig , what is the device you are wearing at the beginning of the video?
It’s …The Hanger. I explain a little bit about it later in the video
Craig, love Your videos and instruction. This is VERY similar to the 'Jim Hardy" teaching with His "one plane" method. Would You agree? Thanks. Ray
Probably has some similarities.
But this is more to do with wrists a s elbows and not shoulder plane and arm plane 👍
