    This is by far the best channel for golf instruction on YT. To be honest it took me some time to learn about the swing before I quite understood what some of the instruction was meaning but if a golfer truly wants to get better then they need to learn about their own swing and put what this channel is telling you into your swing.
    Cheers👍👍

    My game was off a few weeks ago, after long winter lay off, hitting everything fairly weak and right, had a few minutes with my local Pro who i play with, he told me to do that pre set drill, it definitely worked, I've played with it this season with great results.

      "Learn as quickly as possible". Don't set yourself up for being a perennial frustrated, hot head on the golf course. Golf is a very difficult sport that takes tons of commitment, time and experience to even look like you belong out there.

    I purchased a hangar after watching a video on your channel and it has definitely helped compression with irons. This video you mention feeling the hangar on the trail arm very interesting and makes sense. To me it should help get the pro release pattern you have demonstrated on multiple videos. My question is where you should feel the hangar on the trail arm? Right after Impact?
    Thank You

    Craig hi, my wrist angles are ok but I struggle sequencing the lateral movement. I’ll try the right knee tip. Because feel vs reel manifests so differently for individuals it can be really helpful imo if there are multiple feels, and drills given for each objective. That way you can try them all until you can find the best fit for yourself.

    For a chain reaction in my golf swing. I simply use the fast twitching muscles surrounding the right side of my hip to start my ‘up swing’ and then use the fast twitching muscles surrounding my lead hip to start and finish my downswing. It would take a full understanding of anatomy, physiology and physics lesson to fully learn why it works. But since at age 77 I have no hip problems I trust it; and it is my go to swing Cheers. Cheers

    I tried to pre set my wrists, did not work for me. I have the tool you were using, now that does work. I keep 70% of my weight on my front foot before I'm start my swing. No shifting, staying still. Hip turn comes after ball strike. Very consistent swing. If your not a pro, the less shifting, turning, weight transfer the better.

    • @CraigHansonGolf
      @CraigHansonGolf  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      ok don’t hit balls with the pre-set drill just use it to build positions on in your swing.
      Use it over weeks - months. You don’t try it for a couple of minutes and say it doesn’t work?
      It’s about changing over time not overnight. I think that’s what people really believe.. a few minutes and it should be perfect

    When my swing goes sideways, i use a strong left hand grip, aim 20 yards right, feel like my back is facing the target at the top and crush my irons right on target, 9 iron 160 yards up to 7 iron 180 yards, whats the physics thats making that work? Been using that for 15 years now, can brake 80 on any of my 6500 yard courses we play

  • @atamagashock
    @atamagashock 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I totally see 80% of golfers having a slice in their driver, but if 80% have it in their irons, that’s just crazy. I struggle to get any movement in my irons and I’m just average at best. The only time my irons are offline, is if I’m aimed wrong. I’d love to have a fade and draw shot

    • @CraigHansonGolf
      @CraigHansonGolf  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      80% of players slice the ball. They slice everything yes that means a 5 iron as well .. you can slice a sand iron. Doesn’t mean it will curve in the air just means it’s under cut and hit weakly.

    Effective tool but a simple coat hanger works too.

    • @CraigHansonGolf
      @CraigHansonGolf  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      yeah just use heaps of tape and bring the scissors every time you want to use it and wrap heaps of tape around it. And the of course cut all the tape off when your finished.
      That’s why nobody uses a coathanger

    the right knee gotta point toward. This allows lag and stops pulling shots left. all the pros tugging through at the hip/knee. like all the boxers. same deal. one day it will dawn on you.. seek and ye shall find
