Great video as always JP. This video was really informative and nice. I really appreciate the fact that you have extended your videos recently, with a lot more explanation by the pilots. I really liked the way Captain Per de la Motte explained everything. He was really clear and to the point. This one deserves more than a like.

There was still about 30mins of flight preparations before takeoff we didn't include simply because the average view times on You Tube would not take that much stuff too well but certainly working on giving our You Tube audience more than before.

That's the first time I've seen airport navigation on any Airbus other than the A380 and A350. Turns out it's available on the A320 and A330.

Love the videos with the outside walk around inspection. The A380 inspection was simply astonishing. I'm hoping to see a video in the near future of a 777-300ER walkaround inspection specifically to see that mammoth of a GE-90.
Glad you enjoy that part and I'll make a note to look for a video with a 777 walkaround. I know we have some 200s... I'm not sure we have a recent one on the 300 with walkaround... I sure hope we will film some more 777s in the future.

I know.. been up close to the Wright Flyer and I think it could fit in the intake of one of these new GE/Trent/P&W engines.......took the Boeing tour and got close to lots of things that just seem HUGE....the world is changing fast..

So what does the E have compared to a standard A330? I didn’t even know an enhanced A330 was built, just knew about the A320E

Scandinavian Airlines is the first European airline to receive the new A330-300 242-tonne Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW) variant. The aircraft was delivered to SAS during a ceremony held at Airbus in Toulouse, France. SAS has selected Rolls-Royce Trent 700 engines to power its new A330-300.
Launched in 2012 as Airbus’ latest evolution to the twin-engine widebody A330 Family, the increased take-off weight A330-200 and A330-300 incorporate a new aerodynamic package, engine improvements and an optional centre fuel tank (the latter for the A330-300 version). These upgrades allow for an extended range of up to 6,100 nautical miles while offering up to 2 percent less fuel burn.
"At SAS our vision is to make life easier for Scandinavia's frequent travelers and we are now delighted to welcome our passengers on board the new A330 Enhanced,” says Rickard Gustafson, President and CEO of SAS. "We are making substantial investments in our fleet and network which means that we by far have the strongest intercontinental offer to and from Scandinavia. In parallel we are able to significantly bring down fuel consumption with new aircraft coming in which will lower our costs and support our goals to reduce emissions."
“As first European operator of the 242-tonne A330-300, we look forward to seeing SAS enjoy the additional benefits delivered by this innovative aircraft’ said Christopher Buckley, Executive Vice President, Africa, Europe and Asia Pacific. “This longer-range A330 will fit seamlessly into SAS’s current fleet alongside their current A330s, and will pave the way for their A350s in the future. The A330s higher take-off weight allows the airline to fly new Asian routes, with an operational reliability of well over 99 percent. SAS’s passengers will be able to experience the best-in-class cabin comfort that only Airbus offers.”

Hi AJ. They do on the film... but these films are 3-5 hours long and here we just show you some parts... so the intrroductions may be at other locations in the film...

Apparently it can be. The Commander seemed to indicate during the film that this is an "enhanced" model, which added that and that it was unique to that version of the A330.

CraZy291 yeah, we use it at work. It’s a pdf work tool. Signature features and business synchronization possibilities. Works good for flightplans and such work. I use it for all my pdfs. Had good reader before, like it too
