I am a Philly native and have done that approach countless times over the years as a passenger, but that is the first time seeing it from the cockpit. Awesome and thanks for sharing!
I anchor my boat just off that little island on the left in the Delaware River and watch you guys land. Its the perfect spot, you guys are pretty low by that point! Have some great pics of planes coming in there!
New subscriber here 🎉 I used to use the A330-300er US Airways from Philly to Rome every year - about 20 times and it’s amazing that we can now get this footage. Thank you SO much for this great work.
I love it when u guys fly over my house here in manayunk pa I’m 20 mins from the airport I also love the flight radar app I get to see where u guys are coming from too love this stuff only scared to death to fly on one 🤣♥️✌🏼I finally got to see what my airport here in Philadelphia looks like when u guys land here I see u from 95 coming in then u guys disappear and I see the smoke from the tires that’s how I know u are on the ground so cool thank u be safe and u guys are so laid back 👍🏼
Thanks for the awesome video!!! Being a frequent flyer out of PHL this gave me a whole new view from the front instead of the side. So many things a saw from the flight deck; stadiums navy yard Walt Whitman bridge and yes the Philly vehicle processing facility Thanks again
I saw a Discover A330 at PHL a few months ago. I walked around and waited for a bit to see if it was you flying it out. Unfortunately, I ran out of time.
My house is directly under the KPHL ILS 27R approach between MRTIN and JALTO. I've flown it a hundred times in the sim and it looks amazingly familiar. Great editing with the multiple camera angles.
I fly a lot into and out of Philly. I know you're flying the plane and don't get a chance to see the city, but that's my favorite approach. You get some amazing views of the city as a passenger. Nice Landing!!
Why blur out the PFD and ND? Those are some of the best entertainment value for these types of videos! I love seeing what speed and altitude, etc you’re at. There’s no personally identifiable info on them. We know you’re going to KPHL and we know your callsign, so I don’t see the point of blurring them out.
Thanks Pascal ! I live south of the airport, near the Commodore Barry bridge. Have the landing patterns recently changed for Philly airport? Recently, I see many more flights approaching and landing from the south. Also, it seems as though more flights are departing and flying in a southerly direction, as many pass over our house every day. Also, as a resident of over 60 years, I can never recall of a major emergency at the Philly airport. So, it would seem to have an excellent safety record. The best of luck and enjoyment during your aviation career. Many blessings to you.
I'm 35 and have only been on one round trip flight. I was lucky enough to fly out of PHL on a A330. I was with about 10 friends and they all agreed they have never experienced such a smooth landing when we eventually did. Now on the way home? we had a Boeing 767. It wasn't a bad landing at all, but just gimme a 330 any day.
This was some shit I really needed to see right about now. I been stressen about work and shit but I just saw a man do what a man does. Got a big A330 with gusts, his life, his crews and a whole bunch of passengers right in his hands. But he ain't worried about all that at the moment (can't). My mans is like eff all that, I'm just focus on the task at hand right now, udigg! Goes ahead and takes care of business like it's another day in the office. Now I'm remembering that I did that countless times too. Took care of business. But I wasn't flyin no A330 tho! Now I don't know even understand why I was trippen over this little job bs. Ima keep taking care of business like I always do anyways! Yo, thanks fam - good look!
The huge variety of camera angels is nice, but I miss the little explanation like in the other videos. Other then that great video. Thank you for your good work. ❤
There is no footwork. You apply the rudder against the wind and just before touch down you let it go so crabbing turns “normal”. If there is any footwork then someone should go back to original pilot school and repeat his ppl 😂
Are they approaching from the north on final, following the Delaware river? I lived in the philly area for 60 years and when flying home from Florida, typically seemed to approach from the east through New Jersey & the Atlantic City Expressway and not crossing the River until a couple minutes before landing.
Im from Philly.. So familiar to see that.. Coming home.. Im pointing out all the landmarks.. Look Center City.. Hey my mom lives not too far to the right.. lol
Having had the privilege to operate the flaps on this flight I can say that Pascal is not only an outstanding pilot but also a decent human being.
Thanks mate, I can only give the same back🙌 looking forward to your farewell flight 🙏
Don't you touch those flaps you can rip them off if going to fast
Especially if flaps are full
Best flaps operator

Such an amazing approach 🙌
I agree!
Same here and I've even worked on the UPS Airport apron and this view is an awesome view.
me too.
the new camera angle of the entire cockpit so good you really put a lot of effort on filming
Thanks mate 🙌
That new angle allows for the true pilot's eye and was right there looking at the end of the runway.
Which part was "gusty"? Cheap click baiting. Coming from a pilot - if that is true - is shameful.

Very nice! I believe I was the one working you guys when you checked in at 9000 over JIIMS. Excellent video
That’s awesome! Thanks a lot 🙌💪

Maybe next time 🙌
From philly my self and ive seen one of the Euro wings A330 do a go around in philyl while I was plane spotting! Cheers to those pilots
I love the shots going through the clouds ❤
💪🙌

I can always take a look at it in the video then 😅 so true, I absolutely love the approach 🙌✌️
Smoooooth operator….what a nice landing ! 😊
Thank you 🙏

I am getting ready to take a flight for the first time and a little nervous, you guys made it look so smooth.
The Wright brothers would have been amazed. Glad Orville lived to see the fruits of their labors.
My home airport. Pretty cool
Nice video, but why blur out the instrument glass ? No one else does that.
Scared somebody might see them landing in Philly you know big secrets😂
I see that flight land all the time from the UPS ramp in PHL.
Pilots are amazing. Good work!
True professional pilots!
Beautiful flying weather. Enjoyed the split screen on final, I was able to pick out the airport. Excellent video. I subscribed.
I shoulda been an airline pilot but Skyhawks were enough for this guy. nice video, gentlemen!
Why did you blur the PFD and other displays
I want to know the same
You guys make this look effortless. Well done!
I loved this! Thank you! I fly out of Philly. It was nice to see the cockpit view.
Thanks Pascal !
I live south of the airport, near the Commodore Barry bridge.

Nice landing
Wie immer super Video und klasse Landung! Weiter so
Vielen Dank 🙌✌️
What a super landing 👏 so professional 👏
Thanks 🙌✌️
Great video as always. Is there a reason why you blur the PFD and ND?
Company policy
Thanks a lot, that’s due to company guidelines ✌️
Excellent video! How does the A330 compare to the 757?
I only flew the 737. That is quit the big difference to flying the A330, since you still trim manually and don’t have fly by wire. Have a good day 🙌✌️
This was some shit I really needed to see right about now. I been stressen about work and shit but I just saw a man do what a man does.

He's got good eye sight to see the airport from that far away.
Very nice landing,as always, very good video,Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it🙌
Nice landing even with the big bug on the windscreen.
😍 expect me after 2 years... I'm still at high school 😼
Smooth landing !
Thanks for sharing this great video i love air planes ✈️
Thanks a lot for watching 🙌
Very nice approach!
Tough approach made tougher by the blank PFD and ND ;-)
Das ist aber alles schön eingestaubt im cockpit muss mal wieder sauber gemacht werden 😂ansosten super video wie immer!
The huge variety of camera angels is nice, but I miss the little explanation like in the other videos. Other then that great video. Thank you for your good work. ❤
Be sure to check out the next one in two weeks 😉🙌✌️
mein vater ist CP bei discover was ein zufall, dass ich auf deinen kanal gestoßen bin👍🏼
Amazing! I really enjoyed this approach video
Glad to hear it! Thank you 🙌
Pilotseyetv*
Pascal Hand flew that thing all the way from Boston!
Well done.
Pascal is badass.
That bug didn't stand a chance!😂
😂
Loved it!! beautiful camera angle, your videos give me an ideal to strive towards my dream, and I hope I'll make it to the cockpit someday!
That means a lot! Thank you 🙌
smooth landing
GORGEOUS!! ❤❤
I don't know how you would do it safety-wise, but it would be great to see your rudder footwork on a gusty landing!
There is no footwork. You apply the rudder against the wind and just before touch down you let it go so crabbing turns “normal”. If there is any footwork then someone should go back to original pilot school and repeat his ppl 😂
Nice landing!
this is oddly satisfying my type of asmr
Fabulous approach! 🤩✈️🙌🏾
Thank you 🙌

Wow Pascal Split Screen is super 😊 you can Show more often okay 🎉
hey super vid, aber warum hast du autothrottel ausgemacht und nicht bis zum flair angelassen?
Ich fliege immer lieber mit manual thrust ✌️
Well done, sirs!
Amazing video captain🧑✈️🖤
Thanks a lot 🙌
Never landed in Philly and it not be overcast and low cloud lol. This was a nice day.
When you hear the 5 call out you know you greased it.
Flew right over my work place.
so smooth!
🙌
That landing was buttery 🧈! Thanks for sharing!
They fly right over my house, Gloucester City ,NJ 😎
Beautiful. Great teamwork. Love the camera angles.
Why are the primary flight displays blurred out?.
It's a policy discover has.
So TH-cam armchair pilots don’t report these guys to the FAA as too fast, too slow, too high, too low, etc.
@@cloudstreets1396 It’s a shame the world has come to this.
Pilots should put in a request to the company to get cleaning staff to wash down the controls area . The dashboard is filthy.
Nice angles.. great video
Thank you Pascal, Amei👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾😃😃
Glad you liked it!🙌
5:38 is that the Cherry Hill Mall on the left side of the window? Unsure
why did he blur the screens?
Philadelphia and Gusty, but I repeat myself.
Great video pascal, loved it 🎉❤
One question, why is the cockpit so dark on camera? 😂
Thank you 🙌 dark ? It’s quit bright in there ✌️
Very nice job pilots!
Why did you blur out the flight displays?
Great Job!
You need me in that plane :)
hi, why do you blur the ND and the PFD?
Due to company regulations! ✌️
Last time I made that landing was 5/April/1970 coming home from the nam, happiest day of my life,so glad to see my people and my pup of course❤
Im from Philly.. So familiar to see that..
Coming home.. Im pointing out all the landmarks.. Look Center City.. Hey my mom lives not too far to the right.. lol
What is that massive splat on the windshield?
Ist da ein Vogel auf der linken Scheibe eingeschlagen oder woher kommt der grosse Fleck?
With your seats that far forward...how do you work the clutch?
Hey is the sleep schedule really that bad sleep is real important to me😭
Why does the dash look so filthy?
Great video.
GPWS: 5
Pascal: yes 😎
What is on the windscreen? It looks like they hit a bird somewhere.
Looks pretty low key to me.. Why blank the PFDs? (to hide AS fluctuations or lack there of?)
Those are blurred because it’s part of our social media guidelines.
Amazing 👏💯
Thanks 🔥
Why have you blurred the PFD and nav display?
Company guidelines ✌️
Like a BOSS
Smooth.
Next time I go plane spotting in Orlando I hope to see you flying!
