Hope you had a great time in VS Upper Class! I was on that on VS103 the other day. Great product.

It was great but some of the experience felt underwhelming compared to my other virgin flight!

This flight seems to be exactly the same as it’s EWR UA codeshare version SK909 CPH-EWR. Towards EWR/JFK from CPH SK > UA in terms of European Star Alliance partners that do Trans Atlantic.

How long did it take you to get global entry? It seems like it is a long wait now. I don't fly overseas that much to make the wait time and interview hassle worth it.

My TSA PreCheck was expiring so I just got GE then. I did the “enroll upon arrival” after getting approved online the month before, which I did after my virgin Atlantic a35K flight in January. I felt it was worth it and it has been a lifesaver twice so far this year in terms of making connections

I have never had to wait 2 hours to come back to the US. That is pretty bad. I haven't come in thru JFK since the 1980s in the TWA terminal, and it didn't take to long for passport checks, but I can't remember if I had to go back through security to catch my next. Do you also have to go through security again if you are connecting?

JFK passport control has always been hit or miss but especially at T1 and T7, a two hour wait is normal. If you are connecting onwards you have to collect your bags, recheck them and go through security again and that goes for every US airport

I honestly find SAS consistently underwhelming, from start to finish. Never anything to write home about. I really do want to love them, bet hey, I just can't. Also, an awful lot of their (very) senior crews are also very indifferent, and not very engaging. The drab interiors are also quite depressing TBH. SAS manage to take bad food on another level. That lunch they served you looked like someone had vomited in your tray.
Unrelated but, the 14 min delay due to staff shortage to me is 100% unforgivable.... CPH is one of those airports (like AMS) that two years after Covid finished are still grappling with staff issues....
