Favorite flavor is for Krark’s Other Thumb: “Krark was the kind of goblin who'd lose his thumb in a wager and come right back with ‘Double or nothing!’”
Honestly this is kind of what I expected this show to be from the get-go - a budget showdown kind of thing, given the theme of the channel. It was good, nice change of pace from simic value engine wins.

I know there are awesomely powered, expensive cards in magic, but I love that you keep promoting the fact that even with cards you already own or a couple inexpensive upgrades you can make a fun deck with a lot of interesting synergies. More important than having the most expensive cards is playing against similarly powered decks with your friends for an enjoyable play experience. Keep punching the hippo! Nice game guys! Two questions: 1. The lands was not creatures at the time the demon hit the table, therefore they could attack. 2. The rakdos charm could twist the game dealing infinite damage to Eric once he has enough creatures. Was it a missplay? I mean to cast early targeting the grave .
The wording on the demon is a little ambiguous. It states, "When Kardur, Doomscourge enters the battlefield, until your next turn, creatures your opponents control attack each combat if able and attack a player other than you if able." I think this effect covers all creatures the opponent controls regardless of if they are creatures at the time. If it instead said, "each creature your opponents control..." Then it would imply affecting only the current creatures on the battlefield. I was wondering the same thing at first.
I could be wrong but I believe that effect applies to the players themselves and placing them in the state where their creatures are goaded until his next turn so even new creatures get goaded as well
Mana burn should return as a regular rule, at least in EDH. With the stupidity level green decks are reaching nowadays it would be a great way to equalize a bit more.
You guys seem to all have quite a flexible collection for building different kinds of decks to play (and lots of experience doing so) which led me to think of new ways of tackling deckbuilding: think of a pyramid that is split horizontally into four pieces of equal height, their volume ratio would be as follows: 1 - 7 - 19 - 37. If we fit these ratios to a deck of 100 cards (rounding down) , it would look something like 1 - 10 - 29 - 57. To fit it neatly to a 100 cards, we'll add the last cards to the base to make it 1 - 10 - 29 - 60. The obvious direction to take this would be the card rarity (the rarest being the most scarce) but another way would be to assign a Hierarchy of card types, which is what I'm suggesting here. Lands are something that should always be part of the base of this hierarchy pyramid (as part of #4) , but the ratio of other cards is in the hands of the player building their deck. The players choose the hierarchy for their decks 1
