Seth calling his Commander, the 5 color Dragon Spirit, Coyote is hilarious.
he's not even trying at this point 😂
It hurts me and it's hilarious XD
Edit: grammar
I'm surprised crim didn't correct him on the pronunciation, he probably didn't know who he was talking about or thought he was joking and the joke die off by not saying anything.
I love that Tomer was one of the guys who complained most during Dragon tribal watching Crim bring out a changeling commander, and proceeds to play life gain humans XD
The Vamps need food.
“I promise you I don’t have a kill in my hand”- Tomer knowingly holding akromas will
Gotta love Richard soft blaming Seth for giving Tomer enough life to live at 1, and nobody pointed out that he payed 1 mana to draw a card, and then had a land drop after that would have given the last damage
yes, that was pretty funny. Maths aren't just for blockers it would seem XD
Activating Coffers, then playing a land 2nd main is troll. He could have played the land which effectively adds four mana (+1 for Coffers, and taps, and they untapped with Sword) and done it all.
He also had the bounce in his deck to get the mdfc fling back to hand and kill Tomer after
Salutations
There's something so funny to me about Seth turning it on Crim and asking everyone who Bojack's roommate was.
Seth may have given tomer that extra six life, but he told Richard how to kill him with the bounce land, which Richard did have in deck, to get back the mdfc. And Richard completely ignored Seth even though it was in there
He must have forgotten. But also he paid an extra mana for the haste creature to draw a card AND had a land in hand that he played post combat. He could have used either of those manas to kill Tomer too but he didn't do the math.
The worst part is seth could have sacrificed the selfless spirit to prevent the life gain 😂
Seth not knowing Deadpool is a Marvel character but casually dropping Hunter Thompson off the Fear & Loathing reference just fits
Ya boy is cultured
based tbh
Seth has worn an HST logo t-shirt in multiple videos. I'd be shocked if he missed that one.
Ha, I'm a big Hunter Thompson fan.
Seth isn't pop culture oblivious. He's just VERY selective.
Crim feeling embarassed of saying clash on but being totally fine with anime alters never ceases to amuse me
Richard low key staying quiet because he didn't make the land drop to kill Tomer 😅.
Or the extra 1 he paid to draw a card
It’d be really funny if someone made a deck focused on donating a Greed to Seth, then punishing (but not preventing) card draw, and just watching Seth remove himself from the game
Tomer, God bless his heart, is such an enthusiastic player.
Lol. Crim at 12, Tomer with 3 2/2s and a Akroma's Will in hand to give them pro-black and double strike. "I promise you, I don't have a kill in hand."🤣
Wow another almost 3 hr clash! I know you guys are pretty tired, I appreciate this more than the really short clashes, there's more of a narrative and banter going on.
Watching the earliest episodes shows how far they have come with the banter. Just shocking amounts of dead air time and silence. They should be really proud.
The spookiest thing in this episode, was seeing the hoops tomer jumped through to justify being a vampire deck
Spooky, scary EDH sends Slivers down your spine…
"Crim's the problem!!!" Cries the dude who had a board state and a full grip hahaha
Obligatory comment :
Clash crew : Let's make a hallowing themed tribal decks for this week!
Tomer : I've got spooky boots in my lifegain deck does that count?
Richard got off lightly and no one will know. He payed the extra mana to draw when he could of killed Tomer, he didn’t play the lane to kill Tomer AND he didn’t get a bounce land to use fury to kill Tomer
"Tomer is very concerned about clock management here"
video is nearly 3 hours long
1:02:17 I think when it comes to Vampire graveyard hate Callous Bloodmage is way better.
This game went in wild directions. Very nice to see Licia at the table its been forever since I've seen her used at all, and Kudos to Seth for being the only one to stay perfectly on theme. XD
And I guess since I'm the guy who's known to be against main phase Tef's protection I'll just add I think Tomers makes more sense here than Seths previously cause he doesn't have a board to lose a turn later to a cycled decree of pain.
Richard had SEVERAL opportunities to pick up that Kazuul's Cliff with the Gruul Turf in his deck to finish off Tomer, such terrible misplays
Nice win, Tomer. Didn't Richard also punt because he tapped out for wolf run, put Tomer to 1 and then played his land second main phase? The fetchland could have paid 1 more to kill Tomer. Unless I'm missing something.
I also like when you guys ignore the whining and just attack who you think is the biggest threat instead of giving into the deflection
18:00 there is quite a bunch of spirits that interact with tap. Even ones that actually tap other stuff. Small punt there
Tomer is our perfect cinnamon roll who has never done anything wrong or misplayed anything
spooky scary week and no skeletons? man missed opportunity
Deadpool is def at minimium an antihero. He's not like a good hero, but he does do good things (sometimes).
I love how they were all clowning on Tomer for playing non vampires and Richard pulls out a Dragon in his Werewolf deck.
It's kinda funny they're saying Licia is from an "old school commander precon" when it was literally in the same deck as Edgar Markov lol
Right 2017, in my mind, isn't old-school. Old-school cuts off at like Commander 2014. Lol
Really? I totally didn't realize that. For some reason I was thinking it was from Commander 2013 or 2014.
@@MTGGoldfish It goes to show how notorious Edgar is and how forgettable the back up commanders are lol
Another week where Crim specifically says he won't do something and then does it at the very next opportunity.
That’s literally like crim’s whole mo, to mess with people 😂
The difference between “Clash On” here and “Only One May Stand” from Game Knights is so hilarious. I love the differing vibes
On this week of "Punt or Bluff?" we're just in time for Samhain. Will Seth conjure the souls of the damned or will Crim ally with the deadites? Tune-in to find out!
Seth being unable to pronounce his commaders name properly is a ampt refelction of him as a person.
I'll take that as a compliment ;)
I like how no one noticed that land Richard played after the wolfrun was off by 1 🤣
If I had a nickel for every time a goldfish crew member played an off tribal creature, I'd actually have quite a few nickels. 😘
I think this was the funniest episode I watched for long time :D
Tut tut tut tomer… winning with soulsisters, bolas, teferi’s pro… does thou even flavorouth
Crim's commentary on the Gaffer killed me:
Tomer: "You gotta do what you gotta do."
Crim: "So you went with the dude from Fear and loathing in Las Vegas?"
Tomer’s accidental galaxy brain play by discarding the vamp tutor when that 2 life would have killed him 😂 SELFLESS spirit indeed…
It is a life *gain* deck, after all
When Seth said his commander is ironically a spirit, I thought he was talking about the sake drink, but instead he just thinks it sounds like coyote xD
I don't blame that that much for hating/joking a bit on Tomers when it comes to his deck now that I've seen the episode lol.
Wow Vampires work pretty good in a soul sister deck it turns out....
Food for the vampires
I really like Tomer’s Heliod/Ballista deck this week. Rare you see someone splash vampires into it
At the end, we get to see full deck lists, and I gotta say... Crim's deck looks very sweet
Is Bolas's Citadel better than The One Ring? Maybe I just have seen it more. But it wins pretty often.
Bolas's Citadel is incredibly strong, but you do need a decently high life total for it to do much of anything. The One Ring doesn't have as much of a requirement. Both are great, but I think The One Ring is a bit stronger overall.
One ring is two mana cheaper, colourless and draw cards with very little pre-requisites. It’s much better
If both are hitting play, Citadel can actually win you the game that turn, but you do need the life to work with and some luck. Ring is like dropping an indestructible Rhystic Study - you''ll win soon, but not that turn.
Crim saying you know Richard i do appreciate what u do for me 😂 💀☠️💀
Yay! Misery is back on the menu!
amazing game, hilarious! this was a treat
Tomer made me spit my drink with that double tutor 🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭
So, Tomer having Humans in a vamp deck kinda makes sense, thats what they eat to stay alive and it gave him life. the humans also help facilitate the vampires to do what they do, so like, theme?
But the angel and halflings...
I am tempted to be overdramatic now that "mean comments" are a topic to be read, but I did think it funny that Seth pointed out the bounce land MDFC line to kill Tomer and Richard acknowledged it- then tutored for two other lands
Hobbit in a vampire deck, should subtract one point from from Tomers seasonal win percentage for the flavor fail.
Wait till you see the rest of the episode. XD
Flavor fails so far in the episode
Tomer
Knight of white orchid
Hunter S. Thompson
Crim
Cleetus
Scarab god
Richard
Ugin the SPIRIT dragon
Old gnawbones
Changlings
Only Seth stuck with the tribe, but also yall are too uptight with creature tiype themes 😂
It gets even worse. Tomer playing a bunch of non-vampire angels and also the soul sisters. Lmao
This episode's restrictions were meaningless, but it was fun nonetheless.@@discoviolenza1984
Humans in a vampire deck ARE on theme, humans are food and sometimes servants of vampires in pretty much every vampire story ever written
I recently discovered the secret treasure that is Jiwari, the Earth Aflame. I threw them in a deck that wants to kill stuff, and likes the idea of a weird and scalable wrath with the upside of being targeted removal when that's better. It's also a 3/3!
I could see Knight of the White Orchid (some arts anyways) as a Christian metal band's singer, the lion has big 'second coming' energy, it's not like it rode a lamb in! Maybe it'd be one of those cool Christian bands, and not one of the awkward ones?
15 spot removal? I do have a deck with ~20 removal (few or 1 target AoF) and another 9 wipes (kills many creatures), it's a big part of how the deck wins. The deck represents a disruptive influence, and as such the board is kept in a constant state of paranoia and chaos. It makes for good games usually, and sometimes has cool moments like someone using Swords on a Gorilla Shaman so they can play mana rocks.
14:50 There is no darkness without the light
Aroma’s Will, and Bolas Citadel in hand and trying to deflect to Crim. This group is so good. You cannot trust a single one of them in game because what they say isn’t the reality. Would have been something if Tomer and Crim acted on Seth and Richard teaming up and realized maybe they should just team up and take out Seth and Richard( who had a grip of cards still) At least then it would be a 1 v 1 fight.
I swear the Goldfish Crew are eventually going to will the fog meta into existence.
I wanna see you guys do a good commander w/ bad tribe theme game. Like yidris ogre tribal… please
2:43:24 The look on the winner's face says it all
👌The self-fulfilling Gnawbone zombification prophecy
The most ironic part about this episode of "Unwritten rules of Commander" is that they actually get to showcase the examples of those hypocrisies in a turn order.
Crim about secret lairs "I think WotC is tapping my brain" ..
nah Crim, I think they are just hitting some of the most mainstream IPs they can get their grubby hands on. your tastes aren't exactly "underground" or anything.. they are actually super basic.
and this isn't supposed to be an insult or anything, but after writing I realize it can come across as such.
I'd call that a vampire win. You can't accuse someone of not playing beatdown creature tribal vampires when the obvious build is Edgar. I don't think anyone wants to see another vampire swarm deck at this point.
( 28:44 ) 😂😂😂
I'm so sad none of the cast heard Seth's joke
I didn't hear what he said either, what was the joke?:D
@user-rb5ny7ph5k The table has been ragging on Tomer the whloe game because he's playing non-vampires in a vampire deck. Right before this Tomer was complaing that his commander was too expensive and that he couldn't cast it, so Seth just made a sarcastic comment saying "Yeah Sauron is expensive" joking that Tomer might as well be playing Sauron as his commander for his vampire deck.
Tomer having humans in his vampire deck is actually really on theme. Vampires are known to keep humans around to do their bidding, and some are for food (life total).
Seth, if you can only watch three marvel movies the best ones are Iron Man, Black Panther, and either Black Widow or Winter Soldier. The ones with the most background lore and info about all the characters and solid movies as well are The Avengers, Avengers: Age of Ultron, and Avengers: Endgame.
This is in fact the TH-cam comments, not letting this injustice down XD
Predicting a mtgo win because of day/night somehow
Tomer not sticking to the deck building rules is very on brand
Damn, Richard and Crim gotta make Seth watch some subbed anime for the Kamigawa pronunciation .
what about doctor anime
I could see Seth liking something like Texhnolyze or Black Lagoon or Tatami Galaxy
In regards to favorite Marvel characters, Hit-Monkey is a go to underrated phenom for me 🐒💕🎯
There's a dc character that I loved when I was younger that had too many limbs, multidimensional, and has long spiky teeth and was an enemy of superman but for the life of me can't remember his name. Thanks for reminding me of him with your weird character 💟
@@kingfuzzy2
I assume it's not Parasite?
Do you remember what color the villain was?
@@SmashPortal they were grey. I'll look up that hero too tyty
Buzzing to see tomer playing licia!!
basically the entire 3 hours were every single goldfish member (especially Crim and Tomer) depicting himself for being not the threat and accusing another member for being the scary one, this reaches the limits of ridiculousness 😂
I maintain the correct werewolves build is Naya so you can run rule of law style effects to stop people flipping your wolves back
The non-vampires are the vamps' packed lunch
No spooky boots??
What's the site they're playing on??
We have gotten a weeping angel in mtg before, have you seen anguished unmaking
Oh boy that kyodai pronunciation. Seth is in rare form today
Everyone knows Vampires have Human Thralls! I see no problem with Tomer's deck! Edit: Until that Angel shows up. That's a bit suspect! 🤣
Nice to see a soul sisters deck. On flavor win.
Card: Kyodai
Seth: Coyote?
What? How do you even get there?
Kyo = yo with a k at the front
dai = same as die or dye
One gets there by reading it Ky (as Kai) O - Di (ignoring the a for some reason lol)
so coyote
The power that Seth holds being able to blatantly ignore vowels is a marvel. Gotta give it to him, Seth is right. Kyodai is not a coyote, but how that is ironic I do not understand.
Every non-vampire is a vampire in the making.
Crim calling out Realmwalker after playing Morophon as a dragon commander. 😝
What program are they using?
Magic Online. You can find out more (or download it) at www.mtgo.com
Richard could've killed Tomer if he made his land drop before his attack with Kessig Wolf Run
Very brave to announce you like Marvel
Tomer forgot to leave his humans outside overnight so they'd turn into vampires, ok? Just a small oversight. They were ripe vampires.
Ain't no way Seth actually thinks it's pronounced coyote
Wow, the human deck won !!!
Good grief. Tomer shamelessly casting non-vampires the whole game 😂😂
Tomer should bring back licia and do the ‘add a colour theme’ add green, all the life gain green spells make licia very scary
This Tovolar list looks weird and it's odd to not see someone immediately cast him and swing. I want a redo lol
They all have a strange sense of threat assessment, like sometimes they're right but then they refuse to move to new threats until it's too late ex tomer winning with human tribal 😂
Evil Dead is niche?
Who is this seth guy at the beginning? I only know saffronolive.
well, he's probably better known as seth
When it's execution day but the axe is a bit dull
After checking tomers decklist; he literally got all his non-vampire creatures in this game.
Sam's dad, infamous vampire groupie.
