    I was practicing/improvising pride and joy for my next rehearsal, and decided to take a break and grab a bite, while checking out a couple videos. Your upload starts and there you are, dropping some P&J-style riffage on the intro... Just couldn't not laugh...
    Cool video and dope pedal, man.
    Keep at it.

    Some juicy sounds coming out of your guitar! Yes the pedal helps a bit. But it’s your playing that makes it happen. Just add bbq sauce (fuzz) and it helps it.

    They sent me this pedal instead of the Texan Twang but I got a discount and have both now.I really just wanted the TT to sound like SRV but I just heard Eddie VH's Jump on the radio and thought the Fuzz along with the electo-harmonix B9 might get that distorted keyboard sound!

    Sounds fantastic Nick. I want one but can't do it now. Something tells me they'll be around a while. I've got a Fulltone 69. Had it for a very long time, but it's on the bigger board and I use it with the larger rig which doesn't get much use these days since were playing smaller clubs.This fuzz seems to be a little more tweeked to achieving a sweeter clean up with more headroom, similar to the Diaz pedals. I do have a question tho. Would have a treble bleed circuit affect the way the fuzz cleans up? I'm currently using a V-Treb Variable Treble Bleed Circuit in both my Strata. It has a little trim pot to adjust the amount of volume.just wondering if this will effect anything. Thanks Nick

    THE RIFF W NIK SEVIGNY,
    ,,,,,,,,, When I turn my guitar volume down on the Dunlop face face pedal or the Original 60'S Fuzz face pedal it "does not" give that SRV glassy texas tin pan alley tone. It only will give you that clean hendrix the wind cries mary or little wing clean guitar sound.
    ------------------ The Analog Man Sunface and the Cesar Diaz square face pedals when you turn down the guitar volume "will" give that SRV glassy texas tin pan alley tone. Any reasons why you think?
    ------- What are you thoughts and reasons you think this magic trick only happens on certain fuzz pedals when you turn the guitar volume down?

    • @leonardo.rafael
      @leonardo.rafael ปีที่แล้ว

      It seems those glassy tones are due to a treble boost before the clipping circuit. Maybe you can try a 10 band EQ before those pedals.

      Yes, the Mr. White is a great pedal. I have one. Right now, I am trying to keep my pedal use down to one pedal. That is a goal of mine. One pedal on at all times. So for me, I found that the best for me right now is one based off of the Dallas Rangemaster or Hornby Skewes Treble Booster. If I didn't have one of those, it would be the Mr. White. Then I use a fuzz and Funky-Vibe as needed but the treble booster is on all the time. It is a very clean boost.

      @@millstap I am a minimalist when it comes to pedals too. At volumes that doesn't disrupt the neighbor hood I like the Klamac El'Mo boosted by a Lovepedal Elephant man. The few times i play out where i can turn the 63 vibroverb ri up to where you and Nik does i like the duellist. Still working on the mandatory fuzz pedal slot.

      I’d love to be able to try out one of your fuzzes, but I’m in the U.S.
      I used a BC109 in the big enclosure for years, before switching to the Deep Trip BOG. It took owning, trading, and searching for years to find that BC109. I might put it in a smaller enclosure, with a buffer.
      Your pedal sounds excellent, and reminds me of my BC109. Do the silicon transistors you used get along with unbuffered wah-wahs?
