They have established a 22 points lead over nearest rival, ManCity, the biggest lead ever in premier league history and is projected to win the league by end of March 2020..that's 2 months before the season is scheduled to end.. The US is just jealous that they are only half as good as Canada is, in the ratings of world standing Canada rates at 7th and the best the US has ever been is 12th place.

      Yeah but he also has a valid point. Canada has lost a lot of its historical and cultural identity by choosing the mosaic path. I would prefer if we became more of a melting pot. Embracing Canada for what it is instead of making it something it isn’t.

    • @iwillsmiteyall
      @iwillsmiteyall 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      J Baldwin can’t say I agree with you, I think we’re better as a mosaic, but I understand your POV, there are pros and cons to both I think

    • @ijustwanttosleepnow
      @ijustwanttosleepnow 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Emily Grayson well I think the mosaic says you do not have to take on any of the cultural norms or identities that the country demonstrates, where a melting pot is when you do, but you also bring your own cultural flavour to it. I think it’s important to uphold Canadian values and identity, but bring your own wisdom to it. I mean mosaic sounds prettier, but it keeps groups more isolated than integrated.

    The mosaic/melting pot exchange was over the top on Colbert part. So whether some people like it or not, immigrants are going to want to keep many of their traditions and language alive. The mosaic way is much more respectful of those wishes.
