Instead of using white paper on top of tawa, use onion . Cut onion top or end and use it. You don’t need to use that much oil if you use onion

Please don't use paper on hot Tawa. You can use onion instead to get smooth dosa which is healthier option than paper.

Dosa is a combination of Rice and Urad Dal. Traditionally eaten with Sambhar which too has few vegetables and coconut chutney which has good fats….so for those who don’t eat eggs don’t have to be worried 😂 Eat only that much which you can burn off….physical workout has reduced so eat limited amounts…Our ancestors were doing lots of activities and eating well too. Many had regular fasting which was included in the name of religious practices….. We have lost that and our health also pooch!😢

Use onion cut half or take small one and spread the oil. Don't use white paper..or other things. Pork the onion with fork and spread the oil. Also used gingely ( nallenai) oil. Which is good cholesterol... Don't have to worried if the oil were a lot also... Nothing would effect the body.

Priya, Dosa batter has Urad dal = protein, fenugreek = fiber, side dish sambar = protein+veggie fiber😅
Dosa doesn’t have enough protein in the form of Urad dal. Urad dal is higher in idli. Adding eggs helps meet the daily protein needs of 60-70 g.
