- Did you ever wonder if you've been inefficient with your item usage? Well, wonder no more! This guide is here to help you efficiently use your items instead of having all those stat boosters saved for the final chapter! Remember, it's the journey, not the destination!
This video was utilized for the opener:

Since you mentioned HP being 1 point of def and res if you are fast enough. The only time that is true is if that unit sees combat once per map...
Maybe thats what you meant but you already mentioned this in an earlier video, so I felt the need to explain it (In case anyone understands it wrong).
DEF RES are much more usefull than HP since they reduce damage on each attack. 1 HP reduces 1 dmg once (unless healed up again). 1 DEF/RES reduces 1 dmg each attack for the whole map.
Good video. For me, fe11 was the game that drove this point home. Your units stats and growths are barely better than generic enemies, and leveraging your weapons is one of the few ways to gain an advantage and solve problems. Plus y'know... forged wing spear
Reclasing its another way to fix some problems, like transforming Marth wife into a general so she get higher strength and defense points for 8 levels then placing her back as a flyer or paladin.
Immediately using all the Goddess Icons I could find onto Arthur (Fates) was such an incredible revelation. Will never hoard statboosters again.
I remember my first play that I did not knew when I should or to who to give some items. hilarious looking at it now. Thank you for the video.
Over the years, I use to hoard all my stuff, but nowadays, I only hoard on specific Runs/games where a stat check is required for a goal. I usually use stat boosters if +2 on a stat meets a benchmark that allows a unit to tank an enemy phase, one round units or Not suffer crit anymore. it takes a lot of work to find these situations, but it can be extremely rewarding in doing so
In regards to HP/DEF/RES stat-boosters.
Besides the obvious lord candidate for these…
I like to use my +5 HPs on fragile units or healers who don’t see a lot of combat such that they can take a stray hit or two.
Whereas +2 DEF/RES are applied on those who see lots of combat, as that defense applies for each attack taken.
…I also think it’s funny to have healers with like 50 HP. absolute units
I'm a raging loot goblin that hoards every single item and only uses iron weapons
Another thing to consider on classic mode: When using items to permenantly boost a unit, how likely is that boost to be wasted by the unit dying?
Promoting a good or decent unit is a safeguard against their death that also gives them more value, promoting a terrible unit might be a huge waste of gold if they're still underperforming and at constant risk of death even after promotion.
Hmmmmm. Never thought to Hammerne a Berserk staff before......may try it sometime.
I used to hoard statboosters until I realized they're not gonna be useful if I don't use them earlier or on a unit who can get a lot of mileage out of it.
In a game where vulneraries is actually scarce is Fates in general, and that really adds a layer from the vulnerary spam of other games
I definitely needed this I ended a fe6 hard mode run once without using a single of the staffs outside of the healing ones besides the holy maiden(i need help).
I'm glad this helped and listen, if it makes you feel better, my brother has one of the wildest stories regarding item management in RE1 and I give him flack about it until this day. So no matter what you do, I think you'll be ok. ahahahah
3:14 Nah i just dump all stat boosters into favorite units. Transferring all max stat Gatrie into radiant dawn with vague katti equipped is overkill though, but still fun to use.
Using in testing maps is also neat.
Nothing wrong with using your favorites with maximum favoritism!!!
FE7 is like the only game where I refuse to use stuff if i'm going for a ranking run, FE7's rankings are tough.
Great content, man. Keep it up o/
Thank you so much for the kind comment and the support
