    The reason that we always welcome everyone to visit us even just a quick tour is because we are the only company that builds Electric Bikes in America.

      I didn’t see anything get built, all of your parts, even the frames are made overseas. Tons of companies assemble bikes in the US, you might just be the only one that claims “made in the USA” because of it, which is false and misleading.

    Please correct me if I am wrong, but these are not manufacturers, but a US assembly company. They do not make their battery cells, motors, brakes, gears, hubs, chains, pedals, etc. Those parts are all foreign made to higher standard of manufacturing than an American company could produce. I think it is a great idea to make US jobs, but they need to have the correct label.

    My wife and I recently rode Model E's on an ebike tour in Tempe Arizona. We've done 4 or 5 ebike tours over the past few years on other ebikes (Pedego and Haibike and others) in the past and found these to be so comfortable and easy to use that we ordered two of them a few weeks after we got back home. As mentioned in the video the quality seemed top notch on the one's we rode and the ability to endlessly customize them is a nice touch that no other company really offers. Can't wait for them to arrive

    It would be easier to get your own motors built domestically and once you have that you can take that money you save to hire a someone to tackle the battery manufacturing.
    By then graphene supercapacitors should be starting to work their way into high end applications; instant charge, high discharge, almost no form factor constraints, hundreds of thousands of charge cycles.

    I just got off a chat with "Blake" who states their frames are mass produced in Communist China. He claimed their brand is the only one to assemble their e-bikes domestically in the USA. But when I countered with how Utah Trikes custom welds their frames here in the USA he could only say that they don't make trikes or quads. Their website doesn't provide the buyer with a list of components that are domestically manufactured in the USA. He claims they have plans to eventually manufacture the frames in the USA but that it would significantly raise the prices of the e-bikes they currently assemble. How hard can it be to weld a frame together using materials made here in the USA?

      As a previous ebike company owner, I can say that almost every part is made in China or Taiwan. This is because they have they have invested in the equipment and tooling to do mass production. I do like that they are choosing to use higher end components that they spec from the manufacturer. The assembly is extremely important and this is where they get their quality control. So good idea and I like the custom paint options..

    avantage can they make a bike like that with a battery pack that goes on the side of the frame and that way you can put a water bottle on top and can they make it any color that I want and can I do a throttle twister instead of thumb throttle and can they put a bike rack on the back brake lights in the back that you can see at night and I want an alarm put on the brake light so people won't know this and then when you're not riding it you got the alarm on people think I don't know where the alarm is and they take off running hey can you put a tracking device on it and maybe a little trailer hitch in case if I had to make me a trailer and haul my cans to the can join if that's what I choose can they put a flashlight in the front with a basket on it maybe or a carrying rack but I want to be a step through not a swing your leg over the bar I do not want that I wish this company was on the southside of Indianapolis Indiana re can go through it and pick out any kind of bites you want of your choice and they'll put together for you right there on the spot that way you don't have to travel or that way we don't have to ship it off to you you come to us that would be cool I wish that could really happen

    Ha, I prefer Luna Cycles because one, they use mid drive motors and two, I do not like the looks of even one bike at EBC. Luna has very cool looking bikes. I guess if you want a beach cruiser EBC bikes are just ok. You can build a much better bike with parts from LUNA

    I can appreciate that you assemble and inspect the parts yourselves but all the parts and sheer manufacturing comes from China. It's sad that "made in America" has been reduced to in reality merely ASSEMBLED in America.
    Again, not taking away the personal touch you give to the products , but the "made in" term is loosely used here.
    Thank your government for outsourcing all the labor and manufacturing to the cheapest bidder (China) and screwing over the whole of American society , just cuz of American greed and self absorption. And now are genius government wants to pretend the Chinese are evil and steal everyone's ideas LOL. When the reverse is actually true. The West has stolen for ages.
    Politics and b.s aside, I don't look past what your company is trying to do, considering what you have to work with. it's the closest thing I guess possible to anything that was done pre world war 2 on a small scale ( atleast by what ur showing here) so I must applaud you for that.
    But modifying Chinese parts isn't making anything in America. Let's be honest

  • @ed0078
    @ed0078 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Bull. This company is nothing more than an assembler of outsourced items yet the narrator’s attempt to portray the company as a US electric bike manufacturer is misleading the public AS USUAL. Bike companies are trying their best to bring back the industry but that is a generation away - period!

    • @FiveSails
      @FiveSails 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      the problem is that no one in the US has a manufacturing facility to produce those parts. Best one can do is spec your own parts and have them built in China or Taiwan. There are hundreds of parts on a ebike.

    And what is it with these type of companies in their designs especially like these so-called American types.
    THEY ALL LOOK LIKE GIRL BIKES TO ME. I DON'T LIKE ANY OF THE LOOKS OF ANY OF THESE BIKES..
    One thing I like about those so-called Amazon Chinese bikes that have the battery built into the frame. They look badass. They look rugged they look great.
    They don't look like a feminine bike.
    I didn't see one design here on this video that maybe want to buy any of their bikes they don't look good like old school women's Schwinn bikes
    I don't know man. Very weird.
    Make a interesting boy looking bike people..
