Hello everyone, welcome to my channel. Like so many others, my lifestyle changed due to the pandemic.
Before the pandemic, my families lives had become so hectic & busy that there never seemed to be a good time to travel anymore. Somewhere along the line we realized that our last vacation was in 2011. We decided that it was time we made some travel plans.
Then the pandemic hit! I no longer wanted to travel by plane or stay in a hotel. We decided that a bettter and safer alternative would be to travel in our own vehicle, one that we could also sleep in, cook our own meals in, vacation in. The rest is history!
However, the RV shopping process is not easy and required a lot of research. I want to share what I have learned along with my ongoing experiences and adventures through my channel which offers:

The admin options on the display will allow you to easily change this to a class 3 which will allow you to pedal assist up to 28 mph.

Thanks for posting this video. I'm very interested in this model, and now I know what comes in the box. Looks like there is no place to attach a water bottle cage with hex bolts, and handle bar attachments for water bottles are generally not very good. I suppose you could just put a water bottle in the front basket, but that wouldn't be convenient for drinking on the go. I wonder if you could order hex bolt type attachment from the factory when placing your order.

Beautiful bike .I just ordered a model R myself today. I was just wondering how tall you are. I ordered 26 inch wheels and I'm 5'2
Hello Kristine, Congrats on the new purchase! I find the bike about perfect size for me and I am about 5'4". Thanks for supporting my channel!
I am also 5'2" and originally ordered the Model R with 26 inch wheels. I ended up having to trade them for the 24 inch wheels. With the 26 inch wheels, I had to set the seat too low for proper leg extension when pedaling so that the tips of my toes touched the ground for balance when I stopped at traffic lights and stops signs. The lack of proper leg extension when pedaling resulted in joint pain, but raising the seat to a comfortable height for pedaling meant that my toes were not even close to being able to touch the ground, not even on one side while leaning the bike slightly. Your inseam measurement matters as much as your height in determining the which wheel size will work better for you.

Your bike may be "unlockable" to 28 miles per hour (class III) most ebikes are, they just ship as a class II or 20mph max.

That is one huge box, wonder what the shipping cost was on that? I've built a good number of Trek E-bikes that take maybe 30 minutes to build, they come in a slightly larger box then a standard bike. This bike looks decent but you didn't mention the electric system they use which is important for reliability and service parts if needed, their web site doesn't indicate what brand they use. Trek uses the solid Bosch system which is mid drive motor and makes it so easy to fix a flat on the road, just like regular bike Fixing a flat on the road with a rear wheel e-bike can be a pain. Looks like these bikes come as a Class 2 but can be converted to 28 mph class 3. You need to raise that seat.

Since you said, "this is an electric bike", why do you still have to peddle?
with throttle you don't need to peddle, however electric bikes also have a "pedal assist mode" where the motor does most of the work but by assisting via the pedals you can extend the range of the bike. For example throttle only would be 30 miles where pedal assist might get you 50 or 60 miles.
Hello Deborah, The bike does have pedal assist mode. The bike will use less battery power in pedal assist mode due to the contribution of the rider and the further the battery will take you. You can pedal as much as you feel comfortable doing. Thanks for watching!
